How do I clean the Curly SL-1S slicer?

First unplug the device. Remove the blade by pressing the release button. Wash the blade, carriage, and food pusher in warm soapy water. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth. All removable parts are dishwasher safe.

What is the maximum slice thickness?

The maximum slice thickness is 15 mm, adjustable continuously via the knob on the side.

Is the blade sharp? Can I sharpen it?

The blade is pre-sharpened and durable. For sharpening, it is recommended to have it done by a professional or replace the blade with an original Wilfa part. Do not attempt to sharpen yourself.

The slicer does not start. What should I check?

Ensure the power cord is plugged in and the safety lock is engaged. Check that the food carriage is pushed all the way back. If problem persists, contact Wilfa customer service.

Can I slice frozen meat?

It is not recommended to slice frozen or bone-in meat. The slicer is designed for fresh or partially thawed meat, cheese, and vegetables.

How do I adjust the slice thickness?

Turn the thickness adjustment knob located on the left side of the machine. Turn clockwise to increase thickness, counterclockwise to decrease. The scale shows the current thickness.

Is the slicer safe to use?

Yes, the Curly SL-1S includes multiple safety features: a safety lock prevents accidental start, non-slip feet keep it stable, and the blade guard protects fingers.

What is the warranty period?

The Wilfa Curly SL-1S comes with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.

Can I replace the blade myself?

Yes, replacement blades are available. Press the blade release button, remove the old blade, and insert the new one ensuring it clicks into place. Always unplug the slicer first.

Where can I find spare parts?

Spare parts such as blades, food pushers, and carriages are available from authorized Wilfa dealers or the Wilfa website. Use part numbers from the manual.

• Do not use this machine for any other types of food than fruits and vegetables.

OPERATION

1. Cut the head of the food (e.g. Carrot, radish, cucumber, sweet potato, and squash);

NOTE: The food should be long-type and 30mm-60mm in diameter.

1. Connect the appliance to power and then press the switch to "ON" position;

2. Press down food pusher downwards with even force;

NOTE: The unit comes with a set of three different blades (chipping blade, stripping blade and circle blade). For various shapes and result.

1. The processed carrot will fill up inside the container.

2. After finish operation, press the switch to "OFF" position, unplug the power cord.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the power cord before cleaning.

2. Disassemble all the accessories such as vegetable cutting tube, blade cone, food pusher and gear. Please clean all the accessories after each use.

Caution:

① Ensure that the motor unit is unplugged when disassembling.

② The blade is sharp, please handle carefully when cleaning.

③ To dismount the cutting tube please twist the tube in a clockwise direction.

1. Wipe the outside surface of the motor unit with a damp cloth, then drying thoroughly.

Note: Never immerse the motor unit in the water for cleaning.

Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE), such waste must be collected separately and processed. If in future you need to discard this product, please do not throw it out with your normal rubbish. Please send this product to a collection point where one is available.
