What vegetables can I use with the Wilfa Curly SL-1W?

The spiralizer is designed for long-type fruits and vegetables with a diameter of 30-60 mm, such as carrots, cucumbers, radishes, sweet potatoes, and squash. Do not use it for meat or hard ingredients.

How do I assemble the spiralizer?

Insert the desired blade cone into the gear, attach the vegetable cutting tube onto the motor unit, and place the food pusher inside the tube. Ensure all parts are securely locked before use.

How do I change the blades?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the cutting tube and blade cone. Select one of the three blades (chipping, stripping, or circle) and snap it into the gear. Reassemble the cutting tube.

Can I slice meat with this spiralizer?

No. The manual explicitly states: Do not use this machine for chopping meat. It is intended only for fruits and vegetables.

How long can I operate the spiralizer continuously?

Do not operate the unit continuously for more than one minute. After that, allow it to cool down before using again.

Is the Wilfa Curly SL-1W dishwasher safe?

No. Only the accessories (blade cone, cutting tube, food pusher, gear, and cup) can be washed by hand. The motor unit should never be immersed in water; wipe it with a damp cloth.

OPERATION

1. Cut the head of the food (e.g. Carrot, radish, cucumber, sweet potato, and squash);

NOTE: The food should be long-type and 30mm-60mm in diameter.

1. Attach the carrot on the tip of the food pusher and make sure it has a good grip;

1. Place the food pusher into the cutting tube;

1. Connect the appliance to power and then press the switch to "ON" position;

2. Press down food pusher downwards with even force;

NOTE: The unit comes with a set of three different blades (chipping blade, stripping blade and circle blade). For various shapes and result.

1. The processed carrot will fill up inside the container.

2. After finish operation, press the switch to "OFF" position, unplug the power cord.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the power cord before cleaning.

2. Disassemble all the accessories such as vegetable cutting tube, blade cone, food pusher and gear. Please clean all the accessories after each use.

Caution:

① Ensure that the motor unit is unplugged when disassembling.

② The blade is sharp, please handle carefully when cleaning.

③ To dismount the cutting tube please twist the tube in a clockwise direction.

1. Wipe the outside surface of the motor unit with a damp cloth, then drying thoroughly.

Note: Never immerse the motor unit in the water for cleaning.
