Please familiarise yourself with the use of the hot air brush before preparing it for use and using it for the first time. To do so, please carefully read the following operating instructions and the important safety information. Only use the hot air brush as described and for the specified applications. Keep these instructions in a safe place. Be sure to also include all documentation when passing the hot air brush on to others.

The hot air brush is suitable for styling hair. Do not use the hot air brush for artificial hair. The hot air brush is only suitable for personal use and is not intended for commercial purposes. Any use other than that described above or modification of the hot air brush is prohibited and may lead to injury and/or damage to the hot air brush. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any damage caused by improper use. The hot air brush is not intended for commercial use.

WARNING! Failure to observe the following instructions can cause personal injury or property damage (electric shock, burns, fire). The following safety instructions and hazard warnings are not only intended to protect your own health and the health of others, but also to prevent damage to the hot air brush. Therefore observe these safety instructions and include these instructions when passing the hot air brush on to others.

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. Suffocation hazard.
■ This device may be used by children age 8 years and up, as
well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and / or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.
WARNING! DANGER
OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not
subject the hot air brush to shock and do not drop it. Carefully check the hot air brush, mains plugs and the supply cable 10 for signs of wear and/or damage before every use. Do not use the hot air brush if you see signs of wear or damage or if the hot air brush has been used improperly, and immediately switch it off in the event of defects or malfunctions. In this case please return the hot
air brush to the retailer before using it again. There is a danger of electric shock and injury.

Do not use the supply cable 10 to carry or hang the hot air brush, or to unplug it. Do not crush, kink or twist the supply cable 10. Keep the hot air brush and supply cable 10 away from heat, oil and sharp edges. If the supply cable 10 is damaged or severed, do not touch the supply cable 10 but immediately unplug the plug from the socket. Damaged or twisted supply cables 10 increase the risk of electric shock.

- Keep metal objects (e.g. jewellery) away from the air intake filter 7 to prevent these being suctioned in. Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
The air outlet 3 and the air intake filter 7 must be free from lint, dust and suctioned hair. Otherwise there is a fire hazard.
■ Ensure there are no highly flammable liquids in close to the hot
air brush. Otherwise there is a fire hazard.
- Do not use extension cables in the bathroom so the plug can quickly be reached in the event of an emergency.
- When using the hot air brush in a bathroom, unplug from the mains after use, as the proximity of water presents a hazard, even if the hot air brush is switched off.
■ Never submerse the hot air brush in water. Never reach for a device which has dropped into water and is still connected to the mains socket. Pull out the mains plug from the socket immediately. We recommend the incorporation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated trip current of not more than 30 mA into the electrical circuit to provide you with additional protection. Ask your electrician for advice.
■ Only plug the hot air brush into a socket matching the voltage specified in the nameplate.
■ Never open the hot air brush and do not attempt to repair the hot air brush yourself. Any modifications will void the warranty.
■ Only unplug the supply cable 10 from the socket by the plug.
Important safety instructions / Before Initial Use / Start-up
■ Discontinue use of the hot air brush it it has been dropped or otherwise damaged.
■ Untangle the supply cable ^10 if twisted.
- Do not use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer or offered as accessories.
■ Repairs may only carried out only by qualified specialist personnel or in a workshop approved by the manufacturer. Improper repairs may result in considerable danger for the user.
- Before Initial Use
Note: Immediately switch off the device if defective or malfunctions occur.
Note: Hairspray contains flammable substances.
Do not use hairspray whilst operating the hot air brush.
□ Wash and groom your hair as usual.
Stand on a dry, non-conductive floor.
☐ Ensure your hands are dry.
☐ Untangle the supply cable if twisted.
Do not pull, twist or kink the supply cable, and do not run across / place on sharp, pointy objects or hot surfaces.
Do not crush the supply cable in e.g. drawers or doors.
Start-up
☐ Towel dry your wet hair and comb it thoroughly.
Allow your hair to dry fully at the roots and partly along the sections before styling.
Use the styling nozzle to dry the hair.
The 40 mm thermal volume brush adds volume and fullness to your hair at the roots. The brush can also be used to style the ends of long hair and to straighten curls.
☐ First select an attachment 12, 14 before switching on the device. Secure the attachments to the handle 6 by aligning the dot above the release button 11 on the handle 6 and turn to the left to lock in place.
☐ To change the attachments 12, 14, press the release button 11 and turn the attachment to the right.
☐ Insert the mains plug into the socket.
☐ Divide your hair before styling it. First style the bottom layer of hair.
☐ Select the desired heat and blower setting using the sliding switch 5. Select from the following functions:
0 Off
Cool air
1 Medium temperature and airflow
2 High temperature and airflow
- Using the hair curler attachment
☐ Attach the hair roller attachment ☐ 1 to the handle ☐ 6 by aligning the dot above the release button ☐ 11 on the handle ☐ 6 and turn to the left to lock in place.
☐ Select the desired hair roller size and slide the hair roller 13 onto the hair roller attachment 1.
Press the lock / unlock lever and push the roller 13 onto the handle (you may need to slightly turn the roller). Release the unlock / lock lever 2 and the hair roller 13 will firmly lock in at the edge.
Take a 2.5 cm wide section of hair and hold it tautly up or or sideways away from the head.
☐ Continue holding the section of hair taut and wrap the ends of hair around the self-grip section 15 of the hair roller 13.
Turn the grip and wrap the hair around the hair roller 13, not yet switching on the heat function. Be sure the ends are wrapped.
When the section of hair is wrapped around the hair roller 13 half way, switch on hot air for approx. 8-10 seconds on the highest setting or until you feel the section of hair has been dried or styled sufficiently.
☐ Switch off the heat function and continue rolling the hair roller 13 toward the scalp. Whilst rolling, be sure to keep the section of hair taut.
☐ Switch on the heat function for 8 more seconds.
Note: Use a lower heat setting near the head to prevent burns.
Press the lock / unlock lever and slide the roller attachment 1 out of the middle of the roller 13. The hair roller 13 is now set in your hair.
☐ Repeat the process with the next section of hair.
Leave all hair rolls in your hair until the rollers 13 and the hair have cooled completely.
Note: Use your hairspray so your hairstyle holds even better and longer.
☐ Slowly and carefully unroll the hair roll from the hair so it keeps its shape.
• Using the cool-down setting
☐ Use the cool-down setting to set your style and add more shine to your hair.
To activate the cool-down setting, either hold the cool shot button 4 or set the sliding switch 5 to position
To switch off the cool-down setting, release the cool shot button 4 or slide the sliding switch 5 to position 0.
Tip: To cool your hair even faster, use the cooldown setting each time you have wrapped hair on a hair roller 13.
☐ Allow the attachments 1, 12, 14 to cool down before removing them.
To remove the attachment, 12, 14, press the release button 11, slightly turn the attachment 1, 12, 14 to the right and slide it off the device.
Once you have finished your hair, switch off the device and unplug from the socket.
- Cleaning and Care
DANG WARNING! TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the hot air brush. Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
Only clean the hot air brush as specified. Never allow liquid to enter the hot air brush.
Do not clean the hot air brush in the dishwasher. Do not clean the hot air brush with highly flammable liquids.
■ Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaners.
Clean the hot air brush with a damp cloth.
☐ Clean the housing of the hot air brush and the attachments 1, 12, 14 with a soft cloth dampened with warm water.
☐ If necessary, remove any sections of hair stuck to the rollers.
☐ Remove any lint, dust or hair from the air outlet 3 and the air intake filter 7 with a brush before each use.
☐ If very dirty, remove the attachments, 12, 14 from the device and rinse thoroughly under running water.
☐ Thoroughly dry the attachments, 12, 14 after cleaning. Do not use the attachments 1, 12, 14 again until they are completely dry.
- Disposal

The packaging and ancillary packing consist of environmentally friendly materials. They can be disposed of at your local recycling facility.

Do not dispose of electric equipment in the household waste!
In accordance with the European Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its transposition into national law, used electrical equipment must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn out hot air brush.
● Warranty / Service
We provide a 3-year warranty covering faults in materials or manufacture of the hot air brush from the purchase date.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage from improper use.
- Wear parts.
- Defects the customer was aware of at the time of purchase.
- Damage caused by the customer.
This warranty does not affect the customer's legal rights.
The customer must provide proof of purchase in order for any warranty claims within the warranty period to be honoured. Claims under the warranty are honoured for a period of 3 years after the date of purchase through
