What type of batteries should be used?

Use three AAA 1.5 V alkaline batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries.

How do I replace the batteries?

Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow, remove the used batteries, insert three new batteries observing polarity, then close.

Does the lamp turn on automatically?

Yes, in 30/60/90 second mode, it turns on in darkness when motion is detected and turns off after the selected delay.

What is the range of the motion sensor?

The sensor covers approximately 120° horizontally and up to 5 meters.

Can I replace the LEDs?

No, the LEDs are integrated and cannot be replaced. In case of defect, contact after-sales service.

How do I mount the lamp on the wall?

Use the provided screw and wall plug. Drill a hole, insert the wall plug, screw in the screw leaving the head protruding, then hang the suspension device on the back of the lamp.

What to do if the lamp does not turn on?

Check that the batteries are correctly inserted and not used. Ensure the switch is not in OFF position. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

How to clean the lamp?

Use a dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use chemicals or water.

Can the lamp be used outdoors?

No, it is designed only for indoor use, in closed and dry rooms.

How to recycle the product at end of life?

Do not dispose of the lamp in household waste. Return it to a collection point for electronic devices. Used batteries must be placed in the appropriate recycling containers.

We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Intended use

This light serves as an orientation light. The LED night light is fitted with a motion detector that automatically switches the light on and off. The product is not intended for commercial use.

Battery safety instructions

WARNING!

DANGER TO

LIFE! Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around. There is a risk of children or animals swallowing them. Consult a doctor immediately if a battery is swallowed.

EXPLOSION HAZARD!

Never recharge nonre- chargeable batteries, short-circuit and / or open batteries. This can cause them to overheat, burn or burst. Never throw batteries into fire or water. The batteries may explode.

Remove spent batteries from the product immediately. Otherwise there is an increased risk of leakage.

Always replace all batteries at the same time and only use batteries of the same type.

Do not use different types of batteries or mix used and new batteries together.

Check regularly that the batteries are not leaking.

Leaked or damaged batteries can cause chemical burns if they come into contact with the skin; in such cases you must wear suitable protective gloves.

Remove the batteries from the product if it is not in use for any length of time.

Make sure that the polarity is correct when you insert the batteries. This is indicated in the battery compartment. The batteries can otherwise explode.

Remove used batteries from the device. Very old or used batteries may leak. The chemical fluid can damage the product.

☐ Install the light in accordance with fig. C.

Using the LED night light

Note: The LED night light has an integrated motion detector.

☐ Slide the selector switch 1 to the desired position (see Fig. A). The following functions are available:

Position ON: The LED night light is permanently switched on.

Position OFF: The LED night light is permanently switched off.

Position 30 sec/60 sec/90 sec:

In the dark, the LED night light automatically switches on for approx.

30/60/90 seconds respectively when motion is detected. Please refer to „Technical Data“ for details on the detection range. When light is detected, it will switch off again.

Changing the batteries (see fig. B)

☐ Slide off the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow.
Remove the used batteries if need be.
☐ Insert three new batteries,

1.5 V / AAA. Make sure you fit the batteries the right way round (polarity).

☐ Close the battery compartment cover.

- Cleaning and care

Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for cleaning.

Disposal

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product pro operly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC. Please return the batteries and / or the device to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect dis- posal of the batteries!

Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries at a local collection point.

- Warranty and Service

Note: this product includes a 36 month warranty from the date of purchase. The product has been produced to the highest standards and thoroughly checked before dispatch. However, if defects in manufacturing or material arise during the warranty period, please contact your retailer immediately.

The warranty does not cover damages due to improper handling, failure to comply with the operating instructions, or manipulation by unauthorised persons. Most malfunctions are caused by incorrect operation. Therefore please first refer to the operating instructions if a malfunction occurs.

Contact the Uni-Elektra GmbH service address before returning the product. The product may only be returned to us after contacting us. Postage due shipments will not be accepted. Warranty services do not extend or restart the warranty period of 36 months.
