The kettle has a maximum capacity of 1.7 liters and a minimum fill level of 0.5 liters. The minimum level is marked inside the kettle.
How do I descale the kettle?
Use a descaling agent suitable for coffee machines or household appliances. Follow the instructions on the descaling product. After descaling, rinse the kettle multiple times with clean water. Also clean the removable scale filter (1) by soaking it in descaling solution for a few hours and then rinsing.
Can I use the kettle with an external timer?
No, the kettle is not intended to be used with an external timer or separate remote control system, as stated in the safety instructions.
Why does the kettle switch off automatically before the water boils?
If the kettle switches off prematurely, possible causes include: insufficient water (below 0.5 L) triggering overheat protection, incorrect placement on the base, or limescale buildup. Ensure the kettle is properly placed on the base and filled with at least 0.5 L of water. If the problem persists, descale the kettle.
How do I clean the scale filter?
Remove the cooled kettle from the base, open the lid, and pull the scale filter (1) upward out of the holder (2). Soak the filter in a warm descaling solution for a few hours, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Reinsert the filter into the guides on the holder and close the lid.
What type of water should I use in the kettle?
Only use fresh drinking water. Do not reboil water that has cooled down; pour it away. Discard any water that has been standing for more than one hour to prevent germ formation.
Can I use the kettle for liquids other than water?
No, the kettle is designed only for heating water. Do not use it for milk, oil, or other liquids.
Is the kettle safe for children to use?
Children aged 8 and above can use the kettle under supervision. Children under 8 should be kept away from the appliance and the power cord. Children should not play with the kettle or packaging materials.
What should I do if the power cord is damaged?
If the power cord (7) is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid electric shock. Do not use the kettle until repaired.
How do I store the kettle when not in use?
Allow the kettle to cool completely, then wrap the power cord (7) around the cord wrap under the base (5). Store the kettle in a clean, dry, dust-free place.

- Plug the mains plug into an easily accessible wall outlet.

- Place the kettle (4) onto the base (5) and press the ON/OFF switch (6) down to switch the kettle (4) on. The power indicator integrated into the ON/OFF switch (6) lights up blue. The kettle (4) will make noises during the heating process. This is not a malfunction.
