How do I load paper into the cassette?

Pull out the cassette, remove the cover, adjust paper guides to the paper size, load paper (max 250 sheets) with the print side down, close the cover, and reinsert the cassette. Then set the paper type and size via the printer menu.

How do I clear a paper jam?

Open the front cover, remove the toner cartridges if necessary, carefully pull out any jammed paper from the rollers or fuser area. Check the cassette, multipurpose tray, and rear cover for additional paper. Refer to the jam indicator on the display for location.

How do I connect the printer to a network?

Connect an Ethernet cable from the printer's network port to your router. On the printer panel, press [Menu] > [Network] > [TCP/IP] and configure IP address settings (DHCP is default). Install the driver on your computer and select the network printer.

How do I replace a toner cartridge?

Open the front cover, unlock the toner cartridge (pull the lock lever), remove the old cartridge, shake the new cartridge gently side to side to distribute toner, insert it into the correct slot (match color), lock it, close the cover. The printer will automatically reset the toner level.

How do I enable duplex (double-sided) printing?

On the printer menu, go to [Menu] > [System] > [Duplex] and set to On. In the printer driver, select the duplex option (long edge or short edge flip). Ensure paper is loaded in the cassette (duplex not supported from multipurpose tray).

How can I check the toner levels?

On the printer panel, press [Menu] > [Status] > [Toner Levels] to view each color. Alternatively, open Status Monitor on your computer (if installed) to see toner percentages.

Can I print from a mobile device?

Yes, support Mopria Print Service (Android) and AirPrint (iOS). Ensure the printer is on the same network as your mobile device. For direct wireless connection, you may need an optional Wi-Fi module (not included).

How do I reset the printer to factory settings?

Press [Menu] > [System] > [Reset] > [Factory Defaults] and confirm. The printer will restart with factory settings. Note that network settings and custom parameters will be lost.

How do I clean the printer?

Turn off the printer and unplug it. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For the inside, open the front cover and gently clean the transfer roller and any toner dust with a lint-free cloth. Do not use solvents or water.

What should I do if the printer shows 'Offline' on my computer?

Check that the printer is powered on and connected to the network (check the Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi). On your computer, go to Devices and Printers, right-click the printer, and select 'See what's printing' then ensure 'Use Printer Offline' is unchecked. Restart both the printer and computer if needed.
