What should I do if the camera does not turn on?

Check that the battery is properly installed and charged. If the problem persists, use the AC adapter.

How to resolve a focusing problem?

Make sure the subject is within the focus area. Use macro mode for close subjects (18-50 cm) or super macro (6-20 cm). If difficulty persists, lock focus on an object at the same distance.

Why does the flash not fire?

Check that the flash mode is not set to 'Flash off'. Some modes (movie, landscape, continuous shooting) automatically disable the flash.

How to transfer photos to a computer?

Use the supplied USB cable to connect the camera to the computer. Ensure the USB connection mode is set to 'PC' in the settings. The computer will recognize the camera as a removable disk.

What does the message 'Card locked' mean?

The SD memory card is write-protected. Slide the protection switch on the card to the unlocked position to save or erase data.

How to format the SD memory card?

In the [Settings] menu, select 'Format'. Confirm the operation. Caution: formatting erases all data on the card.

Can I use rechargeable batteries?

Yes, rechargeable AA Ni-MH batteries can be used. Only charge Ni-MH batteries. Alkaline, lithium, and CR-V3 batteries are not rechargeable.

How to print directly from the camera?

The camera supports the PictBridge standard. Connect it directly to a compatible printer via the USB cable. Select images and start printing from the DPOF menu.

What to do if 'Memory card error' message appears?

Try reformatting the card in the camera. If the error persists, the card may be defective or incompatible. Use another SD memory card.

How to clean the lens?

Use a dry, soft cloth to gently wipe the lens. Never use solvents such as alcohol or gasoline. Avoid touching the lens with fingers.
