Avoid the danger of death from electric shock!

Before use, ensure that the mains voltage available is the same as the required operating voltage for the device (230-240 V\~).
Before connecting to the mains, always check the product for any damage.
■ Never use the product if you find damage of any kind.
The connecting cable cannot be repaired! If the cable is damaged, the product must be taken out of use and disposed of in the proper way.
This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user. The bulbs cannot be replaced.
■ Never open any of the electrical parts or insert any kind of object into them.
- Protect the product from sharp edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces.
Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails.
■ Always remove the mains plug from the socket before installing, dismantling or cleaning.
■ Never touch the mains plug or the 3D rope light figure with wet hands.

CAUTION! RISK OF OVERHEATING! Do

not cover the rope light with blankets, cushion or similar heat-insulating material. Do not operate the product whilst it is still in the packaging.

■ Use the lighting only with the parts described in these instructions.

If the product is not to be used for any length of time (e.g. holidays), disconnect it from the power supply.

■ After use store the product in the original packaging to avoid causing unintentional damage.

- Keep the product away from ponds and other bodies of water. Install the product at least 2 m from water containers. Avoid locations where flooding occurs after heavy rain.

Use the product outdoors only when connected to a mains socket protected by a residual-current device (RCD) with a rated trip current of not more than 30 mA.

- Outdoor mains sockets must be suitable for use outdoors and should be at least 2.5 m from the nearest water container or body of water.

The product is protected against splash water (IP44). This protection standard is only possible if the mains socket also fulfills requirements of at least the same protection class.
■ Ensure that the product is not laid out through areas in which lawn mowers, strimmers, shears or similar cutting tools are used.
■ Ensure that the product does not present a trip hazard.

●Installation

Only for Z31531C (Snowman) and Z31531E (Christmas tree) (Fig. A):

☐ Bend the two wire elements carefully out from one another.

For all models except Z31531D (Shooting star):

☐ Stand the 3D rope light figures ☐ on a stable substrate.
☐ If possible fix the 3D rope light figures 1 in place with the ground spikes 3.
☐ Check the stability of the 3D rope light figures 1.

Only for Z31531D (Shooting star) (Fig. B):

Check that the wall is suitable for attaching the 3D rope light figure 1 before you start installation. If necessary ask a suitable specialist about how best to attach the product and whether the supplied screws 5 and dowels 6 are suitable for the wall.

☐ Mark the desired positions of the two holes to be drilled in the wall.

Drill the holes in the desired positions.
☐ Insert a dowel 6 into each of the drilled holes.
□ Screw a screw 5 into each dowel 6.
Draw the cable ties 4 through the eyes in the 3D rope light figure 1.
□ Close the cable ties 4
□ Suspend the 3D rope light figure 1 from the screws 5 using the cable tie loops.

Use

Plug the mains plug into the socket. The lighting is switched on.
To turn the lighting off, remove the mains plug from the socket.

- Cleaning and care

CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

First remove the mains plug from the socket.

■ Let the product cool before you clean it. Risk of injury!
Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar items. This would damage the device.
Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for cleaning.

- Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Warranty
