How to use the coffee maker for the first time?
Before first use, clean all removable parts (filter holder, filter, carafe, lid) with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry. Then, run the coffee maker twice without coffee, with water only, to clean the inside. Follow the coffee preparation steps described in the manual.
How much coffee to grind?
We recommend one level tablespoon of ground coffee per cup. Adjust to taste after a few uses.
Why is the coffee not flowing into the carafe?
Check that the carafe lid is properly positioned and that it opens the nozzle valve at the bottom of the filter holder. If the valve remains closed, water cannot pass through.
Can I use disposable paper filters?
Yes, you can use disposable cone filters size 1x4 for this model. The included permanent filter is also reusable.
How to descale the coffee maker?
Fill the carafe with one part white vinegar to three parts water. Pour into the tank and run a cycle. Repeat 2 to 3 times depending on scale. Then run 2 to 3 cycles with clear water to remove residues. Descale every 4 weeks.
Can I remove the carafe during brewing?
Yes, thanks to the anti-drip valve, you can remove the carafe to pour a cup before the cycle ends. Replace it immediately afterward to prevent the filter from overflowing. Wait until at least two cups have passed before removing it.
How to clean the coffee maker?
Turn off and unplug the appliance, let it cool. Clean the filter holder, filter, carafe and its lid with warm soapy water. The exterior can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive products and never immerse the appliance body.
What to do if the coffee maker no longer heats?
