Frequently Asked Questions - 951-191 Kayoba

What is the maximum weight limit for this trampoline?
The maximum user weight is 100 kg. Exceeding this can damage the trampoline and is not covered by the guarantee.
Can I use the trampoline indoors?
The trampoline is designed for outdoor use on a level surface, preferably grass. Using it indoors on hard surfaces puts extra stress on the frame and can cause damage. Ensure at least 9 m overhead clearance and a safe zone around the trampoline.
How many people can jump at the same time?
Only one person at a time. Multiple jumpers increase the risk of personal injury.
Is it safe to do somersaults?
No, never do somersaults (backwards or forwards) on the trampoline. You risk landing on your head or neck, which can lead to paralysis or death.
What should I do if the safety net is damaged?
Replace the safety net immediately. Do not use the trampoline until it is repaired. Damage caused by intentional jumping against the net is not covered by the guarantee.
How do I stop a jump?
To stop, bend your knees when you land on the mat. This is called the stop jump. Practice basic jumping techniques before attempting advanced moves.
Can I move the assembled trampoline?
If possible, avoid moving the assembled trampoline. If necessary, lift it horizontally with at least four persons evenly spaced around the edge. If the frame warps, carefully pull it back into shape.
How do I clean the bounce mat?
Wipe the mat with a damp cloth and mild soap. Ensure it is clean and dry before use. Do not use harsh chemicals. Replace the mat if worn or damaged.
What tools are needed for assembly?
The trampoline comes with a spring fitting tool. Additionally, you may need a screwdriver for the screws. Assembly requires at least two adults with technical skills.
How to store the trampoline when not in use?
In strong wind, anchor the trampoline firmly with at least three anchors or dismantle it. Store in a dry place away from children and pets. Do not leave it assembled in wet conditions.

Read the instructions carefully before use.

Save these instructions for future reference.

WARNING:

  • All jumpers need supervision, regardless of their skill or age.
  • Read and follow all safety instructions och warnings.
    • Max. weight 100 kg.
    • Always jump in the middle of the trampoline.
    • Empty pockets and hands of loose objects.
  • Never do somersaults in any direction (backwards or forwards) on the trampoline. You risk landing on your head or neck, which can lead to paralysis and/or death.
  • The trampoline must only be used by one person at a time. More than one person jumping at the same time increases the risk of personal injury.
  • Always check that the product is in good condition and undamaged to ensure safe use. Replace any damaged parts immediately. Do not use the product before it has been repaired.
  • Never wear clothes with hooks or loose parts that can fasten when jumping.
  • Place the product on a level, stable and non-slip surface.
  • Strong wind can lift the product. In the event of strong wind, anchor the product firmly or dismantle it and put it away. Use at least three anchors. It is not sufficient to anchor the legs with tent pegs etc., because they can be pulled loose.
  • If possible, avoid moving the assembled trampoline as it can fold up and get damaged. If the assembled trampoline must be moved, it should be lifted by at least four persons evenly spaced round the edge. Carry the trampoline horizontally. If the frame gets warped during transport it will take four persons to carefully pull it back into shape.
  • The design of the trampoline means that users can jump very high in different positions. There is a risk of personal injury if you hit the safety net, the frame or frame pad, or if you land incorrectly on the trampoline.
  • Read these instructions carefully before assembly, use and/or maintenance.
  • The trampoline owner and person supervising the jumping is responsible to inform all users and onlookers of the safety instructions, and the importance of keeping at a safe distance from the trampoline.
  • Never use the product near water. Always leave a sufficiently large safe space round the product.
  • Never place any foreign objects on the trampoline.
  • Make sure there are no persons, animals or objects under the trampoline when it is in use – risk of serious personal injury.
  • Follow all the instructions and safety instructions.
  • Always check before use that the bounce mat is clean and dry. Replace the mat immediately if it is worn or damaged.

  • Make sure that the trampoline cannot be used without permission or supervision.

  • Do not use the product if you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
  • Practice basic jumping technique until you have mastered it before going on to more difficult jumps. Further information on basic jumping technique is included in the instructions.
  • Climb up on to the trampoline, do not jump on to it. Do not use the trampoline as a springboard to get to other places or objects.
  • Always check that the zip in the safety net is completely closed and that all three entrance hooks are coupled.
  • Never jump intentionally against the safety net, it is only intended to prevent persons from falling off the trampoline. Intentional jumps against the safety net can damage the safety net and/or cause the trampoline to tip over. Damage to the safety net, caused by incorrect use is not covered by the guarantee.
  • Sandbags can be placed on the trampoline legs to improve stability. They prevent the trampoline from tipping over if it is exposed to lateral forces.
  • Do not use the trampoline if you are pregnant.
  • Do not use the trampoline if you have high blood pressure.
  • Always jump barefoot. Wearing shoes can damage the trampoline. This kind of damage is not covered by the guarantee.
  • Do not use the product if it is wet.
  • For further information on exercises, contact a qualified jumper.

INTRODUCTION

As in all physical activity, there is a risk of personal injury. Reduce the risk of personal injury by following the safety instructions och recommendations.

  • Incorrect use of the trampoline can result in serious personal injury.
  • The design of the trampoline means that users can jump very high in different positions. Be careful.
    • Always check the product before using it.
  • The instructions contain directions for assembly, maintenance and safety, as well as warning texts and information on jumping techniques. All persons using the trampoline, or supervising persons using it, should read these instructions. Persons using the trampoline should be aware of their ability and limitations in terms of different jumping and bouncing techniques.

  • Start by getting to know how the trampoline feels to jump on.

  • Focus on basic things like body position, and practice each basic jumping technique until you master them and are in complete control.
