How do I pair the NITRO-X with my phone?

Turn on the earphones by pressing and holding button C for 3 seconds until you hear "Power on". The LED will blink blue and red indicating pairing mode. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and select "NITRO-X" from the list. Once connected, you will hear "NITRO-X connected".

What is the battery life and charging time?

The NITRO-X offers up to 10 hours of playtime on a full charge. Charging takes less than 55 minutes via the provided USB cable. With HyperCharge, a 10-minute charge provides 2 hours of playback. The LED turns off when fully charged.

How do I clean the earpads and wings?

Remove the earpads and Action Wings from the earphones. Wash them in lukewarm water with ordinary household soap. Rinse and let them dry completely before reattaching. For the earphone body and cable, use a soft dry cloth only.

Can I use the earphones for sports?

Yes, the NITRO-X is sweat- and shock-proof, making them suitable for exercise. The Action Wings help keep the earphones stable during movement, and the magnetic housing allows you to wear them as a necklace when not in use.

How to activate the voice assistant?

Press and hold button C for 2 seconds. This will activate your device's smart personal assistant, such as Siri or S Voice. Ensure your device supports this feature and is connected via Bluetooth.

What to do if the earphones are not connecting?

First, ensure the earphones are charged and turned on (LED should blink). Put them in pairing mode by turning them off and on again. On your device, forget any previous pairing and search for new devices. If problems persist, reset the earphones by turning them off and charging for a few minutes.

How long does the break-in period last?

The break-in period is completed in about 5 hours. Play an audio file at mid-level volume (you should still hear surroundings) for 5 hours, then let the earphones rest for 2 hours. This optimizes driver performance.

Are the earphones sweat-proof?

Yes, the NITRO-X is sweat-proof and also shock-proof, as stated in the specifications. However, avoid submerging them in water. The cable insulation is resistant to sweat and acids.

Can I use only one earbud?

Yes, you can use a single earbud for calls or audio. The microphone is located on the remote control. When using one earbud, the other can magnetically attach to the housing and hang around your neck.

What is the warranty period?

Congratulations to your new NiTRO-X earphones. The NITRO-X sums up more than 40 years of extensive audio research. All our products are developed and produced according to our renowned "No nonsense" concept, meaning that the design should indorse proven technical properties, be innovative as well as consist of highest material standards. Warning!

Never listen to volume above comfortable levels. If you do, you might damage your hearing irreversibly and in turn be facing tinnitus. Never use earphones when your attention to sounds/warnings is critical, e.g. in traffic. To avoid harmful signals, failure and possible hazard, only plug in to intended equipment. Never leave small children alone playing with the earphones due to risk for electric chocks when connected inappropriately or strangulation.

Recommendations

• Choose the right size of pads and wings (Action Wings) for best comfort and listening experience (see section "Usage" for detailed description).
• Make sure you put the earphone marked R in your right ear, and the earphone marked L in the left ear.
• Do not expose NiTRO-X to excessive force, heat or cold.
• Use only soft dry cloths when cleaning the earplug and cable. The earpads and wings are washable. Remove them from the earphones and wash them in lukewarm water and household soap.
• The NiTRO-X require break-in for best performance. The break-in

time period depends on volume and program content (see section "Break-in" for detailed description).

• Your new NiTRO-X reproduce all details in the music. Ensure, therefore, that the audio you're listening to are of the highest possible quality, preferably 320 Kbps or higher. If you listen to Spotify or other streaming service of music, go to settings and select the highest available playback quality from the settings menu.
• To maximize the service life of the batteries they should be recharged before they become completely unloaded. Charging should take place when you hear the voice prompt "Battery low". The batteries recharges quickly up to full capacity in under one hour.

Usage

Start by charging your NiTRO-X. Connect the supplied charging cable between the power source and the charging port on the remote control. Follow the instructions in the "Quick start manual" on the back of the package lid.

Be careful not to have too high volume when you start using the earphones. Raise the volume gradually, using the buttons on the remote control until a comfortable volume is achieved. Before you connect the earphones to the signal source, it is important that you make sure that no audio file is being played at the time, as this can damage your equipment and hearing.

The packaging includes different sizes of ear pads and Action Wings. It is important that you select the correct sized pads and wings for your ears. The fit on these determine how good audio experience and wearing comfort you will get. To large pads will quickly become uncomfortable to wear in the long run. If you instead choose to small pads, the result will be a thinner bass, disturbing ambient noise and the earphones will easily fall out of your ears.

The wings helps to fixate the earphone in your ear so that the position remains stable as you move around. Pads and wings are washable in lukewarm water and ordinary household soap.

With the help of the supplied cable clamps, you can easily adjust the length of the cable. Keep in mind that the voice call sound may deteriorate if you shorten the cable so much that the microphone is placed far from your mouth and thus outside of the effective audio recording area.

When you do not use the earphones, you can easily and safely transport them by hanging them around your neck like a necklace thanks to the magnetic feature of the earphone housing.

Batteries

To get the integrated high-efficiency batteries to perform optimally and give them maximum service life you must not let them become completely discharged between charges. The NiTRO-X warns when the battery power becomes 10% by saying "Battery low". It is now appropriate to charge the earphones.

Do not charge the batteries at temperature lower than -10^ or higher than +50^ . The batteries are fully charged when the red led on the remote control turns off (see section Use of the remote control).

Over time, the battery efficiency will decline to eventually become totally ineffective. The length of a battery life depends on many parameters but by following the advices mentioned above ensures maximum service life. When the batteries stop working, these should be recycled in accordance with the recycling procedures for regular batteries.

Press B to raise the volume. Hold B to skip to next audio file.

Press C for 3 seconds to start or turn off the earphones.

Press C for 2 seconds to start the smart personal assistant. For example, Siri, S voice.

Press C to Play/Pause.

Press D to decrease the volume. Hold D to skip back to previous audio file.

Cable

The outer cable insulation consists of TPE-plastics (Thermoplastic elastomer). Thanks to the properties of TPE the cable becomes resistant to external influences such as heat, cold, sweat, dirt and acids. The copper conductors are of a very high purity 7N (99.99999%), in order to minimize signal loss and distortion. The cable is reinforced with Kevlar ® for maximum durability.

Break-in

NiTRO-X has a very good audio reproduction and in order for them to perform at their best, we recommend you to follow the steps below:

1. Play an audio file with just mid-level volume (you should be able to hear surrounding sound). Then play on this volume constant for 5 hours. If you use to high volume during this procedure, the treble will be experienced sharp and the bass uncontrolled.

2. Then allow the earphones/drivers to rest for 2 hours. Done!
