Read the operating instructions carefully before use.
Save them for future reference.
- Read all the instructions for the best results and safe use.
- Never handle the rifle other than as described in these instructions. This could result in the rifle becoming unpredictable, which can cause personal injury or material damage.
- This is not a toy. The air rifle is intended to be used by adults.
- Before inserting a pellet, make sure that the piston is hooked on the trigger. Hold the barrel with your left hand and insert a pellet in the chamber with your right hand.
- Do not put your finger in the chamber unless a pellet has been inserted.
- To prevent the risk of accidents, never point the muzzle at people or animals, irrespective of whether the rifle is loaded or not.
- Never set the rifle aside when it is loaded - it could fall and fire accidentally.
- The person purchasing and using the rifle is required to comply with all applicable laws concerning ownership and use of the air rifle.
- Never attempt to dismantle the air rifle. In the event of any problems the rifle must be repaired by a qualified technician.
- Do not use steel wire or nails instead of air rifle pellets. Do not use poor quality air rifle pellets. These can damage the bore.
- Do not allow the spring to remain compressed for long periods.
- Do not fire the rifle without a pellet in the chamber. This will damage parts of the rifle and result in spring failure.

ASSEMBLY
Fitting the telescopic sight
NOTE: Never fit this sight on a more powerful rifle because the eyepiece guard is not adapted for this. If the sight is used for a rifle with a more powerful recoil than a .22 calibre rifle this can cause serious eye injuries.
- Undo the screws on the mounts (10). Push the mount into the keyway on the rifle.
-
Push the sight forwards or backwards until the eyepiece feels as comfortable as possible when the rifle is held in a firing position. Tighten the screws on the mount.
-
If the cross hairs are skew, undo the screws and turn the sight until they are straight. Tighten the screws again.
USE
TELESCOPIC SIGHT
Focusing
Hold the telescopic sight firmly 7–8 cm in front of your eye, pointing towards a well lit area. If the light does not fill all of the sight field, adjust the gap between your eye and the eyepiece until all of the light fills all of the sight field. If you cannot see the cross hairs – turn the focus ring to the left or right until the cross hairs are clear and sharp.
Adjusting the firing
IMPORTANT: The firing must only be adjusted at an authorised shooting range.
- Place the rifle on a shooting rest.
- Remove the caps for the deflection screw and elevation screw. On models with zoom, turn the zoom ring to maximum zoom. For adjustable models, set the correct shooting range.
- Fire three shots at a target at a distance of about 91 metres (100 yards). Note the hits.
- Measure the distance between the centre of the target and the centre of the three hits, and adjust the deflection and elevation on the basis of the result. Each click on the dial moves the hit point by the distance indicated on the respective dial.

Adjusting the parallax
To avoid parallax error the target must be centred in the cross hairs, which is only possible at the distance the cross hairs are set for. Targets at shorter or longer distances will result in parallax error, whereby the cross hairs will seem to shift in relation to the target. Normal telescopic sights for hunting have so litte parallax error at normal shooting distances that it is of negligible importance. Adjustable lenses are used for target shooting to eliminate parallax error at different distances. On adjustable lenses parallax error is corrected with the focus ring on the lens.
AIR RIFLE
The air rifle is charged via a spring-loaded piston. Because the rifle has a cocking lever the barrel is fixed.
Releasing the cocking lever
Hold the piston with your right hand and release the cocking lever with your left hand. Press the button in front with your left thumb and pull out the lever.

Lower the cocking lever until the piston hooks on the trigger. WARNING: The chamber is open. Do not put your finger in the chamber unless a pellet has been inserted.

Hold the cocking lever with your left hand and insert a pellet in the chamber with your right hand. Now move the lever back to its original position. WARNING: Before inserting a pellet, make sure that the piston is hooked on the trigger.

natural_image

Aim so that the bead is in line between the slot and the target. The top edge of the slot and bottom edge of the bead must be in line and the target should be in the centre of the bead.

natural_image

- Move the safety catch forwards (towards F). The safety is now off and the rifle can be fired.
- Move the safety catch backwards (towards S). The safety is now on.

Adjusting the sight
A. Adjusting vertically: To adjust up/down, turn the screw clockwise to lower the shot pattern, and anticlockwise to raise the shot pattern.
B. Adjusting laterally: To adjust left/right, turn the screw clockwise to move the shot pattern to the right, and anticlockwise to move the shot pattern to the left.

MAINTENANCE
- Wipe off any oil from the rifle with a dry cloth before use.
- Clean the rifle after use and oil it to prevent corrosion.
- Always oil the rifle's piston to keep it lubricated and sealed.
