Remove all packaging material and wipe the microwave oven both on the inner and the outer faces with a damp cloth before you use it for the first time (please note that the mica plate in the oven cavity should NOT be removed!). Check the oven for any visible damages and make sure that there is no leakage in the oven cavity.
Position the microwave oven on a stable and even surface leaving a space of at least 8 cm at each side, minimum 10 cm at the back and 20 cm on the top of the microwave oven to ensure free circulation of air.
General safety instructions
- WARNING: If the door or the door sealing has been damaged, do not operate the oven until repair has been made by a qualified person.
- WARNING: It is hazardous for anyone other than a trained person to carry out any service or repair operation, which involves the removal of any cover/lid that gives protection against exposure to microwave energy.
- WARNING: Only let a child operate the oven without supervision when adequate instructions have been given to make sure that the child is capable of using the oven in a safe way and understands the hazards of improper use.
- Never use the oven for other purposes than the preparation of food and not for e.g. drying of cloth, paper or other non-food products or for sterilizing objects.
- Do not operate the oven when empty, as this means that the microwaves go back into the head of the microwave oven and will cause damage to the oven.
• Do not use the microwave oven for storage of e.g. paper, kitchen utensils or similar.
- The microwave oven is not designed for pickling. Raw materials that have not been properly pickled may rot and affect your health.
- Do not heat whole eggs or hard-boiled eggs in the microwave oven, as they may explode even after the termination of the microwave heating.
- Food covered by a heavy skin such as apples, tomatoes, potatoes etc. should be pierced before cooking in the microwave oven in order to avoid steam from being accumulated inside, which may bring them to explosion.
- Do not cover the air vent and do not insert any object in the openings of the outer cabinet.
- Never try to remove parts from the microwave oven, such as feet, screws, the cord or the mica plate that protects against radiation.
- Never prepare food directly on the rotating dish in the microwave oven. Put the food on a plate/in a container etc, that are made for use in ovens.
Important!
Always cover the food with a lid (not for grilling) or a microwave Clingfilm (pierce a number of holes in the film). Food scraps in the cavity may ignite and in the worst case catch fire.
- Only use utensils (plates, dishes etc.) that are suitable for use in a microwave oven.
- Keep an eye on the oven when food is being heated in a plastic or paper container since there may be a risk of ignition.
- If smoke or flames are observed in the microwave oven, switch off the appliance or pull out the plug and keep the door closed to extinguish any flames.
Never use
- Utensils of metal or containing enamel parts/decorations.
- Roasting bags with an inner side of tinfoil/metallic threads.
- Melamine bowls.
- In order to avoid sparks that may damage the oven, never use aluminium or metal containers.
- If you only use the microwave function of the oven, do not use the delivered metal grid.
- Always check the temperature of heated food to avoid any burns – in particular when heating baby food. If gruel is heated in a feeding bottle, shake the bottle and test the temperature of the gruel on the back of your hand. Never heat feeding bottles without the lid and the teat. Always stir the baby food and check the temperature before it is served /eaten.
- After preparation, always keep the food 30 to 60 seconds in the oven to enable the heat to spread and to prevent the food from "bubbling", when a spoon or another utensil is put in the food.
- When heating beverages in the microwave oven, the boiling point may be reached without producing any visible bubbles. Consequently, the liquid may not boil until the container is removed from the microwave oven. So be careful when removing the container.
- WARNING: Liquids and other foodstuffs must not be heated in closed containers due to the risk of explosion.
- Always follow the instructions and remember that some foodstuffs heat very quickly. You should also notice that foodstuffs with a high content of sugar should not be heated in plastic containers.
- Kitchen utensils can become very warm during preparation. This is especially the case when such utensils are covered by a lid or a microwave film. We therefore recommend that you always use oven gloves when taking the container out of the microwave oven.
Any damage caused by the above or similar faulty use is not covered by the warranty.

Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the oven at regular intervals and remove any food scraps. If the oven is not kept clean, the surfaces may deteriorate and the lifetime of the appliance may be considerably shortened and there is a risk of a dangerous situation occurring. Before cleaning the oven, switch it off and unplug. Never use scouring or etching detergents, as such products may damage the inner and outer surfaces.
The following parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth, possibly with a mild washing-up liquid:
• External surfaces and control panel
• The rotating wheels and the bottom of the oven
• The oven door and adjacent parts
• The rotary dish is dishwasher proof.
If steam occurs in or around the oven door, wipe the door with a damp cloth.
Steam may occur during use and this is not due to malfunction. Remove odours by placing a bowl with water with lemon juice (squeezed lemon + water) in the microwave oven. Put the microwave function at top efficiency for 5 minutes and wipe with a damp cloth. For cleaning the glass part, use only glass and window cleaners.
When cleaning, please pay special attention to the following:
- Avoid water from penetrating into the air vents and make sure that the control panel does not get wet.
• Take care that the rotary wheel is positioned correctly after cleaning.
• It is particularly important that the door and the inner part of the oven are kept clean. - The Mica plate (inside the cavity of the oven) shall be kept clean with a damp cloth. If the plate is very greasy, it should be replaced. It may catch fire if too greasy.
- If you use the grill, the cavity should always be cleaned after use.

Advice on microwave cooking
With the microwave oven you have the opportunity to cook exciting food and dishes quickly and easily. In the following, we have gathered a number of different recipes for dishes which can be tried out while getting familiar with the oven and all its options and features.
All the cooking times in our recipes, which are based on 800 Watts, are approximate. They depend on various circumstances such as:
The thickness of the bowls
The quality of the vegetables, including seasonal differences
The freshness of the foods
Fresh or frozen foods
The thickness of meat or fish
Additionally we refer to the conversion table on the last page of the manual which can be used for recipes intended for microwave ovens with lower or higher effect.
When cooking in the microwave oven, it is always a good idea to check the food during cooking. It is also recommended that you start with a shorter cooking time than the recipes say in order to prevent the food from overcooking. It is perfectly safe to open the oven door during cooking – the oven stops automatically when the oven door is opened, and restarts easily – read more about this in the instruction manual. It is generally recommended that you try your way.
When defrosting it is a good idea to allow the meat to rest after defrosting. We further recommend that the meat is turned over when half the defrosting time has elapsed.
The size of the bowls which are used with the microwave oven should match the amount of food. I.e. do not use too large bowls but use bowls with tall sides, e.g. soufflé trays.
Vegetables must be of uniform size. If some vegetables are considerably larger than others, the cooking time for these vegetables must be expected to be a little longer.
If the microwave oven has a grill function, and the grill function is used to brown food surfaces, a longer grilling time than in a conventional oven must be expected. The reason for this is that the grill area in the microwave oven is smaller than in a conventional oven. Always remember to use oven gloves when the bowls are taken out of the oven as the heat from the foods quickly distributes into bowls and dishes, potentially turning them very hot.
Always use a lid or microwave wrap during cooking.
You achieve the best results if the dish is allowed to rest for up to 5 minutes after cooking in the microwave oven. This allows for the heat to distribute uniformly inside the foods.

Small and easy dishes and good tips
Bacon
Sliced bacon can be cooked in the microwave oven with great results.
6 slices of bacon are placed on a piece of paper towel on a plate. Also cover the bacon with a piece of paper towel. The bacon is cooked at full effect for approximately 5 min.
Scrambled eggs
Whip 2 eggs and 2 tbsp of cream together with a fork, season with salt and pepper. Add 5 g butter and put the bowl in the oven for 1 min. at full effect. Take the bowl out and leave the scrambled eggs to rest for 2 min.
Ice cream
Ice cream can be softened in the microwave oven at low effect for a very short time (approximately 1/2 -1 min.). Remember to keep an eye on the ice cream in order to prevent it from melting.
Blanched almonds
Put 50 g almonds and 1 dl water into a bowl. Put the bowl in the oven for about 1-1¼ min. at full effect. Allow the almonds to rest for 2 min. and douse them with cold water. The almond skins can now be removed quite easily.
Dough for swelling
The microwave oven facilitates the swelling of a yeast dough. If you use 1 kg flour, the dough must swell in the microwave oven for about 15-20 sec. at full effect. Then leave the dough to rest for 8 min. Repeat the swelling in the microwave oven for another 15-20 sec. with a subsequent resting time of 8 min.
Oatmeal porridge (1 pers.)
2 dl water and 3/4 dl oatmeal with a pinch of salt are mixed in a soup plate. The porridge is boiled at full effect for about 21/2-3 min. Stir it gently and serve the porridge with milk.
Melted chocolate
Break the chocolate (100 g) into smaller bits in a bowl and add 1 tbsp water. Melt the chocolate in the microwave oven for 2 min. at full effect. Stir the chocolate after 1 min.
Paté with olives (4 pers.)
500 g veal- or beef mince
2 loafs of white bread without crust
3 dl 13% cream
1 finely chopped onion
1 crushed garlic clove
1 tbsp fresh chopped herbs (e.g. oregano or basil)
Salt and pepper
8-10 chopped black olives
20 g butter
How to do it:

- Add the minced meat and the other ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Grease a tin and pour the mince dough along with a few lumps of butter (20 g) and cover the bowl with wrap.
- Cook in the oven for approximately 18 min. at half effect.
- Check if it is done by poking a trussing needle into the paté.
- Allow the paté to rest, then leave it overnight in the fridge.
Serve with a bowl of green salad and coarse bread.
Lasagne (2 pers.)
250 g beef mince
1 chopped onion
1 crushed garlic clove
1 large carrot, finely diced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1 can chopped, skinned tomatoes
1/2 dl water
6 parboiled lasagne strips
5 dl Mornay sauce
2 tbsp bread crumbs
How to do it:
- Mix the mince, onion, and olive oil in a bowl with a fork.
- Put the lid on and steam at full effect for 5 min.
- Take the bowl out and loosen up the meat with a spoon and mix with carrot, spices, and garlic.
- Add chopped tomatoes and water.
- Cover the bottom of a greased tray with meat sauce.
- Then apply lasagne strips, meat sauce, and Mornay sauce in layers. Finish with Mornay sauce, garnish with bread crumbs.
- Put the tray in the oven at medium effect for approximately 20 min.
- Allow the lasagne to rest for 5 min.
Stuffed peppers (2 pers.)
2 peppers
250 g beef mince
1 egg
2 tbsp flour
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp fresh chopped basil
1 garlic clove
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh herbs for garnish
How to do it:
- Cut the peppers into halves and remove seeds and stem.
- Place them on a tray and cook them in the oven for 1½ min. at full effect.
- The stuffing is mixed using the remaining ingredients.
- Put the stuffing into the peppers and place them in the microwave oven for about 6 min. at full effect.
- Take out the tray and sprinkle the peppers with shredded cheese.
