How do I use the Wilfa ICP-2000 induction cooker?

Suitable Pan Ware

1. Materials: iron, stainless steel, iron cast and heat-resistant glassware with magnetic inductive layer.
2. Form: pan with flat round bottom (the diameter of flat bottom shall be larger than 12cm) or frying pan with round bottom or special functions.
3. It is better to use matched pan ware specially supplied with the electromagnetic oven, so as to achieve the best performance.

Unsuitable Pan Ware

1. Materials: Nonferrous metal, ceramics, glass, pan with bottom as copper or aluminum (multi-layer metal pan).
2. Form: Pan with very uneven bottom, pan with bottom diameter less than 12 centimeters.

Outlines of Operation

1. Connecting to power supply: Insert the power plug into the power socket of AC230V/10A. When you hear a "Beep" from the buzzer and the power indicator is on, it means the power is connected and the oven is in the standby status.

2. Placement of utensils: Put food to be cooked in the pan and then put the loaded pan at the center position of the heating panel of the electromagnetic cooker.

3. Turning on the heating function: Press the ON/OFF OR POWER switch, the display will show "on" then push the "menu" button, the power indicator are on, and now the electromagnetic oven is in the power heating status. The display will show "1600", you can adjust from 200W to 1800W use the wheel!

4 Push the menu button again the temperature light on, and now cooker is in the temperature heating status. The display will show "240", you can adjust from 60 degree to 240 degree sue the wheel.

5 Push the menu button again the power and timer light on together, and now cooker is in the power timing status. The display will show "0:00", you can adjust from 0:01 minute to "3:00" hours, after you order the time, wait for 5 seconds the cooker will back to the power status. the timer is working. then the display will show the time and power turns. This time you can adjust the power again, the timer keep working.

The display will show "0:00", you can adjust from 0:01 minute to "3:00" hours, after you order the time, wait for 5 seconds the cooker will back to the temperature status. the timer is working. then the display will show the time and temperature turns. This time you can adjust the temperature again, the timer keep working.

1. After usage completed, window of timer will shut down, it means heating has been stopped. But the cooling fan will keep running for 1 minute to cool down the inner of product. The cooling fan would be stopped automatically after 1 minute. Then if you want to unplug the power plug, you had better do it after the cooling fan stopped.

General Precautions

1. Do not place the oven near water, otherwise water may enter the oven and the operating life of the product may be shortened.
2. The cooker must be away from wall for at least 10cm when the product is used. The air inlet and air outlet of the oven must be through without obstacle, otherwise blocked air inlet or air outlet may lead to failure of the cooker.
3. Do not use the oven in places where there are high temperatures, steam, and moisture or gas oven.
4. Do not put metal ware or magnetic articles (such as water, credit card, tape recorder, disk, etc) on the oven, otherwise the articles may be affected or damaged by the magnetic fields.
5. The oven heats very rapidly, so please first put the food in the pan ware first and then put the loaded pan ware on the oven. Otherwise the unloaded pan ware may be heated to deform.
6. The pan ware shall be placed at the center of the ceramic panel and the diameter of the pan bottom shall not be larger than 30cm, otherwise the plastic housing may deform.
7. Do not put the oven on iron plate or iron table for usage.
8. Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the hotplate. Since they can get hot!

Safety Precautions during the Usage

1. Please use separate and special socket above 15A for the electromagnetic cooker. The oven shall not share the same socket with any other electrical appliance, otherwise there may be danger arising from overheating.

2. For canned food, please open the cover of the can before it is heated, otherwise there may be danger of explosion arising from the expansion of heated air inside the can.

3. Do not put metal ware, such as knife, fork, meter spoon, on the panel, otherwise you may suffer from bum when you pick up the heated utensils.
4. Do not put articles the articles such as cleaning cloth, paper or cushion on the panel to be directly heated; otherwise the articles may burst into flame owing to high temperature under the pan.
5. Do not insert foreign articles such as wire into the air inlet or air outlet when using the oven, otherwise there may be danger of electric shock.
6. In case any crack is found on the surface of the oven, please turn off the power supply immediately to avoid electric shock.

Methods of Maintenance and Cleaning

1. The power supply must be cut off and the product must be unplugged before cleaning is carried out.
2. Please use neutral cleanser to wipe off oil dirt.
3. Use clean wet cloth to wipe off light oil dirt.
4. Do not wash the product directly and otherwise the product may suffer from failure.

Failure checking,

If the product operating in abnormal conditions, the window of timer will display E x (x=0,1,2,3,4,5,6), refer to below for solution,

Problem: E0 no proper cooker found

Solution: ensure the cookware should be made of steel (or bottom suitable for induction cooker), and the diameter of bottom must larger than 12cm.

Problem: E1 Inner temperature sensor failed

Solution: contact qualified person for repair.

Problem: E2 sensor for panel failed

Solution: contact qualified person for repair.

Problem: E3 the voltage of power source over than 270V

Solution: you have to stop the machine until power source stable (standard voltage should be 230V).

Problem: E4 the voltage of power source lower than 140V

Solution: you have to stop the machine until power source stable (standard voltage should be 230V).

Problem: E5 panel overheat,

Solution: ( if the cooker may be dry ) stop the product until the product cooled down, then you can restart it again.

Problem: E6 Inner overheat-protection circuit stop the running automatically.

Solution: to cool down the machine, and ensure the air intake or ventilation port is not blocked. If such issue occur again, contact qualified person for repair.
