Frequently Asked Questions - Spark Niceboy

How do I set up my Niceboy Spark bracelet?
Install the Niceboy Pay app on your phone (Android 10+ or iOS 8.2+). Enable NFC on your phone. Open the app, create an account or log in, then tap 'Add Device'. Hold the bracelet's chip (the wider part) near your phone's NFC chip to pair it.
How do I add a credit card to the bracelet?
In the app, tap 'Add Card'. Enter the card number, expiration date, and CVV. Confirm the terms, then tap the bracelet to your phone's NFC chip again for tokenization. You will receive an SMS code to authorize the card.
Why is the tokenization not working?
Ensure the bracelet's chip is placed flat on a stable surface and your phone's NFC area is aligned directly above it. Avoid any movement. If it fails repeatedly, the device may lock. Unlock it in the app under 'Help' > 'Wearables' > 'My wearable is not responding' > 'Unlock wearable'.
How do I pay with the bracelet?
Hold the payment element (the wider part) 1-2 cm from the contactless payment terminal logo. Keep it steady until you hear a beep or see a success message on the terminal.
Can I remove or deactivate a card from the bracelet?
Yes, in the app you can click 'Remove Card' to delete it permanently, or use the 'Active/Inactive' toggle to temporarily disable the card without removing it.
Is the bracelet waterproof?
The manual does not specify water resistance. It is best to avoid submerging the bracelet in water or exposing it to strong moisture. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth if it gets wet.
What should I do if I return the bracelet?
You must remove all payment cards from the bracelet via the app before returning it. The manufacturer is not responsible for any losses if cards remain on the device.
How do I charge the bracelet?
The manual does not specify charging. As a typical wearable, it likely has a built-in battery that lasts 1-2 years and is not rechargeable by the user. If it runs out, you may need to replace the bracelet.
What happens if the bracelet is damaged?
Mechanical damage (scratches, dents, etc.) may void the claim. Do not attempt to disassemble the device; only authorized Niceboy technicians should repair it.
Is the bracelet compatible with all smartphones?
The bracelet requires a phone with NFC and the Niceboy Pay app, which works on Android 10+ and iOS 8.2+. The exact NFC chip location varies by phone model; consult your phone manufacturer for the correct NFC area.

  • If you have already created an account, log in with your email address and password.
  • If you do not have an account, click on „Create an account“. Enter your email and choose a password. Then click on register. The application will allow you to log into your account.

Click on „Add Device.“ Then attach your device to your phone’s NFC chip (for iPhones, the NFC chip is usually on the top of the phone, see Picture 1. For Android devices, it is most often seen in Picture 2. The exact position of your phone’s NFC chip may vary on different devices. To find out the exact position of your phone’s NFC chip, contact your phone manufacturer).

After adding the device to your account, you can add your credit card or create a business card.

To add a card, first enter the card number, then its expiration date and CVV code. After filling in, it is necessary to confirm the conditions by clicking „confirm and continue“. The card must then be tokenized into the device. You can do this by touching the device to your phone’s NFC chip again. For a smooth process of tokenization, place the payment element on the table and place the phone next to it. Try not to move your phone. If you are unable to complete the tokenization, it will be necessary to bring the device closer to the NFC chip. Subsequently, all you have to do is authorize the card with a verification code using an SMS message and complete the activation.

ATTENTION! Limit movement when tokenizing the card to the device with the phone. Failed activation several times in a row can lead to blocking of the device. The device can be unlocked in the app under „Help“ -> „Wearables“ -> „My wearable is not responding“ -> „Unlock wearable“.

  • If you want to remove the card, click „Remove Card“.
  • The card can be temporarily deactivated using the „Active/Inactive“ button.

PAYING WITH A PAYMENT BRACELET

How to pay correctly with a bracelet?

  1. Place the payment element at a distance of 1-2 cm from the logo for contactless payment
  2. Keep the bracelet in the given position until you hear a beep or until the information and completion of payment appear on the terminal display.

COMMON MISTAKES WHEN PAYING WITH THE BRACELET

Do not rush to pay with a wristband. Always wait until the terminal displays information about a successful transaction.
