How do I turn on the scale and set my personal data?

Press the SET button to turn on the scale. The screen will show '0.0' after displaying '8888'. Then press and hold SET for a few seconds to enter personal data mode. Use ▲ and ▼ to select your personal code (P0-P9), gender, age (10-80), and height (100-240 cm). Confirm each step with SET.

How do I switch between kg and lb?

With the scale on and showing '0.0', press ▲ or ▼ to toggle between kg and lb.

Why does the scale show an error message?

Common errors: Lo (low battery), Err or FATL/FATH (body fat out of range), Err2 (measurement error), OL (overload). Ensure you stand still, feet bare and centered. If problem persists, replace battery.

Can I use the scale if I have a pacemaker?

No. The scale sends a low-level electrical signal through the body to measure body composition. Persons with implanted medical devices (e.g., pacemakers) should not use this scale.

How should I clean the scale?

Use a damp, soft cloth (no chemical agents) to wipe the surface. Dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the scale in water or allow water to enter the battery compartment.

What type of battery does the scale use and how do I replace it?

It uses one CR2032 lithium battery. Open the battery cover on the bottom, carefully remove the old battery, insert the new one with correct polarity (+ up), and close the cover. Dispose of used batteries properly.

Why is my body fat percentage not showing?

Ensure your feet are bare and clean, and you are standing still on the electrodes. The scale must be on a hard, flat surface. Also, children under 10 or adults over 70 can only use weight-only mode (body composition not displayed).

How accurate is the scale?

Weight accuracy is within 1 kg as stated. Body composition readings are for reference only and may vary with hydration, exercise, or diet. For medical advice, consult a doctor.

Can I store the scale standing up or on its side?

The manual does not specify orientation. It is recommended to store the scale flat in a dry, shady place. Do not place heavy objects on top of it.

What does 'P0' mean on the display?

'P0' to 'P9' are user memory slots. When you step on the scale, it will automatically recognize the user if previously programmed. If not, it will show weight only. You can assign a personal code to store your data.

Please read all these instructions carefully before using this appliance.

1. This product is specially designed to test body fat/ hydration, help keep a close eye on the daily change of your body fat, hydration and weight, providing information for your reference. Base on the analysis of your height, weight and age etc., it tells your body fat status and gives you an idea of your body condition. Please read this instruction carefully before use.

During Measuring

1. Always remove your shoes and socks, wipe clean your feet before using.
2. It is advisable to take measurement at the same time of the day.
3. Measured result could be misleading after intensive exercise, excessive dieting or under extreme dehydration condition.
4. Always weigh/use the scale on a hard and flat surface. When you are measuring, please keep still.
5. The body fat/hydration measured data of the following people may have deviation:

- Children under 10 or adult over 70 (can only use the device under normal weighing mode)

- Body building athletes or other occupational athletes.

1. People with the following conditions should not use the device:

- Pregnant women

- Those on dialysis treatment

- Those who use heart pacemaker or with other implanted medical device.

BATTERY

Used batteries should be discarded in special collection bins. Please remove the isolation sheet from the battery contact before use.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT:

1. Open the battery cover at the bottom of the device.

2. Carefully lever the battery and take it out.

3. Insert a new battery and press it gently until the retaining clip snaps in place. Please pay attention to the polarization.
4. Close the lid.

TO SET WEIGHT UNIT

- Press "SET" and it will get ready for use when screen shows "0,0kg" after "8888" and you can press and to switch within different units (kg/lb)

FOR WEIGHT ONLY

• Press "SET"
• Step on the scale gently, position your feet evenly near the center and keep ypour body still until the scale stabilizes your weight.
• The scale will be auto off if no further using.

Step on the scale gently and keep your bare feet in touch with the electrodes. Stand still and erect to get your weight measured and your body fat, hydration, muscle and bone percentage will be displayed respectively on the screen within seconds. Thes results will be repeated for two times and the scale will be auto off no further using.

The personal data will be stored once you set. Just confirm your code when you use scale again and your other information will be showed so there is no need to program them again.

• Do not use any cleansing agents which are strong and damage the surface
• Wipe the housing with a moistened cloth

If body percentage is less than 5%, then screen will show "FATL". If more than 50% it will display "FATH" and "ERR2" indicates that the measuring makes an error.
