How do I set up the Bea-fon R222 router for the first time?

Insert a Nano SIM card with an active data plan, connect the power adapter, and press the power button. Use the Web GUI (default IP may be on the label) to configure APN settings provided by your carrier.

How can I change the WiFi password?

Log into the Web GUI (via browser), go to WiFi Settings, and update the SSID and password. Select at least WPA2-PSK for security.

What should I do if I forgot the router login password?

Press and hold the Reset button (WPS? on the device) for about 10 seconds with a pin to restore factory defaults. The default login credentials are usually printed on the device label.

Can I use the router with any mobile carrier?

The router supports 4G bands 1/3/7/8/20/28 and 3G bands 900/2100. Check compatibility with your carrier's frequencies. Unlocked devices should work with most carriers.

How do I connect devices via Ethernet?

Plug an RJ45 Ethernet cable into the router's LAN port and into your device (PC, console). No configuration needed; the router automatically assigns IP via DHCP.
