Please read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep these instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing.
Safety Instructions

- Check whether the data on the type label correspond with the voltage in your socket. The power cord plug has to be connected to the properly connected and grounded socket according.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Before cleaning or maintenance, turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains by pulling the power cord from the power socket!
- Do not leave the appliance plugged in power supply without supervision!
- Pay careful attention when handling the appliance to avoid injury, (e.g. burns, scalding).
- The bread may catch on fire, do not use the toaster near or underneath flammable materials, such as curtains.
- If the power cord of the appliance is corrupted, it has to be replaced by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person so as to prevent dangerous situations.
- Never use the appliance if its power cord or plug is damaged, if it does not work properly, if it fell down and was damaged and it is leaking. In this case take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.
- WARNING: Do not use the appliance with a program, time switch or any other part that turns the appliance on automatically as there is a risk of fire if the appliance is not covered or placed properly.
- NOTICE – Some parts of this product may become very hot and cause burns. Take special care when children or handicapped persons are present.
- After finishing work and before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from power supply by taking the power cord connector out of the electric socket.
- When the appliance is in operation, prevent pets, plants or insects to get in contact with it.
- The appliance is intended for home use and similar (in shops, offices and similar workplaces, in hotels, motels and other residential environments, in facilities providing accommodation with breakfast). It is not intended for commercial use!
- Do not submerge the appliance or the heating plate in to the water (not even partially). Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
- Do not place the appliance in close range of heat sorces such as grills, fireplaces, gas/electric owens, burners, hotair owens etc.
- To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.
- Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning or storing.
- Use the device only for the intended purpose.
- Before switching on, ensure the slices of bread do not get jammed in the toaster slots. However, if this happens, unplug the appliance first and then take out the jammed bread slice.
- Note the housing of the toaster will become very hot when using, especially in the area of the toaster slots. Please be careful not to be burned. Please only use the control knob, lever and button for operation.
- Do not insert your fingers or metal objects like knives or forks into the bread slots.
- The space above the toaster must be free. It has to be made sure that air can circulate around the toaster.
- Never switch on the toaster in advance as it heats immediately!
- Clean the breadcrumbs container regularly, thus you will prevent possible fire.
- If you see smoke caused e.g. by burning food, switch off the toaster immediately and unplug it from the power supply.
- Spontaneous ignition of prepared food may occur during grilling. Unplug the appliance from the mains and put out the fire in case of sudden ignition.
- To avoid injury (burning), do not move the appliance when it is hot!
- Do not use the appliance in an environment saturated with explosive or flammable steams.
- The power cord must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire, it must not be sunk into water or bent over sharp edges.
- Only use the appliance when it is horizontally placed on a suitable surface.
- Do not cover the bread slots while in operation.
- Improper use or repair may cause a risk of danger. In case of misuse or incorrect handling or repair, no liability will be taken for possible damages.
- The appliance is only designed for indoors using, not for outdoors using.
- Keep the appliance away from wall, curtain and other combustible material during use.
- Don't place anything on the appliance besides baking bread.
- Do not use near flammable materials or under this materias.
- Do not use the appliance with a program, time switch or any other part that turns the appliance on automatically as there is a risk of fire if the appliance is not covered or placed properly.
- WARNING: There is a risk of injury when the appliance is not used correctly (not in accordance with the manual).
- The producer does not undertake any responsibility for damage caused by improper use of the appliance (e.g. deterioration of food, injury, burning, scalding, fire, etc.) and its guarantee does not cover the appliance in the case of failure to comply with the safety warning above.

Instructions for Use
Before you start:
Before first use it is suggested having the appliance without bread operated with the control knob set to grade 7 and the lever in down position to remove the heating element protection finish. At this time, the appliance will smoke. This is normal. It is recommended to have a good ventilation of air. After the first heating, let it cool down naturally before being used again.
Selecting the browning level
Grades Browning level
1 – 2 Very lightly toasted or to warm,
3 Lightly toasted,
4 – 5 Well toasted,
6 – 7 Very well toasted or for frozen bread.
Make toast
- Plug the toaster to the power supply and place 1 or 2 slices of bread into the bread slots of the
- Adjust the setting timer P1 to a desired level:
1 = minimum level;
7 = maximum level.
- Press down the sliding lever P3, the toaster will start running automatically.
- Bread slices will be ejected out and the appliance will shut down automatically when toasting is finished.
REHEAT FUNCTION
You can use reheat facility if ready toasts got cold.
Insert toast into the toaster and pull down the sliding lever. Press the reheat function button.
The indicator will light up.
The cold toast can be reheated in short time without over browning.
DEFROST FUNCTION
Press defrost function button DEFROST to prolong cooking time of frozen bread, thus the indicator light should light up.
CANCEL BUTTON
Toasting can be reset anytime during toasting by pressing CANCEL button.
After use, leave the toaster to cool and then unplug.
Warming pastry (not more than 2 breads or rolls)
Push the pastry warming holder P7 slightly to the toasting slots to the maximum position. Put pastry on the holder. Set the selected warming level by the regulator P1. Push the guide P3 down so that it is secured in the lower position. After the set warming time the appliances is turned off automatically and the guide goes up. If you want to toast bread from the other side too, turn it and repeat the steps.
Warning
- Never put pastry directly on the toasting slots, always use the warming holder.
- Do not put an aluminum foil on the holder. Do not toast pastry and warm bread at the same time.
- You should not use the toaster to toast slices of bread and warm buns / croissants at the same time
– Pause after 3 cycles of pastry warming so that the appliance can cool down.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning, switch off and unplug the appliance and have it cool down.
Clean away crumbs from toaster:
Remove the crumbs from the browning slots and grids with the appliance not tilted. Then, slide out the tray, clean it and put it again into the appliance.
Outside cleaning:
Clean the outside of the appliance gently with a damp and soft cloth, and then wipe it with a dry cloth. Never use steel wire, abrasive cloth or other caustic cleaning agents, as they will damage the finish of the appliance.
