- IF YOU NEED TO KEEP THE APPLIANCE TURNED OFF FOR A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME, KEEP THE DOOR OPEN.

NOTES:
Notes regarding operation noises. When the appliance is in operation and goes through different freezing cycles, it will emit different sounds. This is normal and it does not indicate malfunction.
- When flowing through the cooling system, the refrigerant emits burbling, bubbling or rustling sounds.
- When the compressor is turned on, louder sounds can occur for a short time, such as banging or clicking.
Troubleshooting
What to do if...
- The appliance is connected to the grid, but it does not work and the power supply indicator is off.
Check if the electric installation in the building is ok. Check if the plug is correctly connected to the electric outlet.
- The temperature rise indicator lights up in red.
That means that the temperature inside the appliance is above -9 °C. That can happen when the appliance is connected to the grid for the first time or after it has been disconnected for a longer time (when de-icing or after power outage), if the freezer door is not closed or if it is opened frequently or when you store a great amount of fresh food at the same time. The indicator light turns off after the inner temperature falls below -9°C again.
ATTENTION! When the temperature indicator light does not go off after six hours (from other reasons than listed above), the compressor is either working all the time or it does not work at all. Please consult the service center representatives.
• The noise gets louder.
Check whether the appliance is placed of a flat and level surface. To level it, adjust its front feet. Check whether the appliance is not touching adjacent furniture and whether no part of the cooling system at the rear side is touching the wall. Move the appliance away from any furniture or walls. Check whether the increased noise level is not caused by bottles, tins or bowls touching each other in the appliance.
- When opening the appliance door the rubber seal gets torn away.
The seal is smeared with sticky food (fat, syrup). Clean the seal and the corresponding groove using warm water with soap or dish-washing detergent and wipe them dry. Replace the rubber seal.
- High temperature in the refrigerator, short breaks between compressor runs.
Make sure whether the appliance door closes tightly, whether it has not been kept open for a longer time than necessary when storing or removing food or whether a great amount of warm food has not been placed into the appliance.
- Condensation occurs at the upper side of the appliance.
Relative humidity of the surrounding air is greater than 70 %. Ventilate the room, in which the appliance is located, and - if possible - rectify the cause of the excess humidity.
