How do I switch between cold and hot mode?

Turn the sliding switch to OFF first, wait at least 5 minutes, then slide to COLD or HOT as desired. The green indicator lights for cold, red for hot.

Can I use the cooler while driving?

Yes, but the car engine must be running to avoid draining the battery. Use the DC power cord plugged into the cigarette lighter socket.

What is the maximum cooling temperature?

It cools to approximately 16-20°C below ambient temperature. For example, if room temperature is 30°C, it can cool to about 10-14°C.

Can I heat cold food with this device?

No, the device is designed to keep pre-heated food warm, not to heat cold food. Use hot mode for already hot items.

How do I clean the cooler?

Unplug the unit. Wipe the interior with a warm damp cloth and mild soap. Clean fan blades and vents with a soft brush. Leave door open to dry thoroughly.

What power source can I use?

You can use household AC 220-240V or vehicle 12V DC. Use the provided AC or DC cord and slide the power switch to the corresponding position.

Why doesn't the cooler get very cold?

Thermoelectric coolers rely on temperature difference. Ensure good ventilation (leave 100mm space behind), avoid direct sunlight, and pre-cool items if possible.

Can I store medications or milk?

It is not recommended for items that spoil easily, as temperatures may not be low enough. Drinks like soda are safe. For medications, check storage requirements.

How do I change between AC and DC power?

Slide the power switch to AC for household use or DC for car use. Connect the appropriate cord. Always ensure the mode switch is at OFF before connecting.

What should I do if the appliance stops working?

Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual.

In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
2. Children shall not play with the appliance.
3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
4. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environment; bed and breakfast type environments; catering and similar non-retail applications.
5. Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.

26. Protect the appliance from direct sunlight, never use the appliance in a closed room without an air exchanger.

27. It is recommended to be used in the station wagon's luggage compartment or middle row, or on the seat beside driver or rear row of a general car.

28. Leave 100mm to the wall on the rear side to keep the ventilation.

FEATURES

This thermoelectric unit is designed to be a portable storage container for cold or hot drinks and food. In “COLD” mode it can cool till approximately 16-20°C below ambient temperature. This product can also be used in “HOT” mode to store hot pre-cooked food and drinks to approximately 55-65°C. It can be powered by a 12 Volt DC system such as a vehicle, or can be powered from a household AC system.

USE

Make sure the sliding switch for mode is at position "OFF" before connecting to power. It is recommended to use AC power to refrigerate drinks first before use DC power in a vehicle. It would be helpful to make drinks cool.

When household power is used:

Slide the sliding switch for power to position "AC"; connect one end of the AC power cord to the AC input of the appliance, and plug the other end of the cord to the AC socket.

When car power is used:

The car engine is required.

The plug of DC power cord is the cord that should be inserted into the socket of the cigarette lighter in the car.

Slide the sliding switch for power to position "DC"; connect one end of the DC power cord to the DC input of the appliance, and plug the other end of the cord to the cigarette lighter socket of the car.

Mode selection

COLD - Move the sliding switch to "COLD", the unit will start cooling drinks / food and the green indicator light will be on.

HOT - Move the sliding switch to "HOT", the unit will start warming drinks / food and the red indicator light will be on. OFF - Move the sliding switch to "OFF", the unit will be off.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Keep cords and cigarette lighter sockets clean at all times. Small tobacco or dirt particles in the socket or the plug may affect performance.

2. The fan and vents should be cleaned periodically. While the unit is unplugged, clean the fan blades and vents using a paint brush or other soft bristled brushes. Remove all hair, dirt, or dust that may have accumulated.

3. To clean, wipe the inside of the appliance with a warm damp cloth or sponge. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. A mild soap should be sufficient, but if stains or odors remain, household bleach or baking soda may be added to the washing solution. Keep the door open for several hours after cleaning to allow the interior to thoroughly dry and to prevent odors from forming in the cooler.
4. For long periods of storage, a small container of baking soda or charcoal, placed inside, will eliminate objectionable odors.
