Product description

Cooling fan with 2 speed settings and six tilt angle settings. Primarily a desk fan but can also be mounted on a wall.

Safety

• Read all the instructions carefully before using the fan.
• Failure to adhere to these safety instructions may lead to fire, short circuiting, or a life-threatening situation.
• Save the instruction manual for future reference.
• Check that none of the parts is missing or damaged when unpacking the fan.
• Never use the fan if the flex, plug or any other part is damaged or is not working properly. Never try to repair or modify the fan on your own. Contact a qualified electrician.
• This fan is intended for private use only and should not be used for industrial purposes.
• This fan is only to be used indoors, in dry and clean environments. Never place the fan close to baths, swimming pools, or containers full of liquid into which it might fall.
  • Always unplug the fan when it is not in use.
• Never leave unsupervised children together with the fan.
• Never immerse the fan in water or other liquid.
• Do not turn on the power before the fan is completely assembled.
• Make sure that foreign objects do not enter the fan since this can cause short circuiting, electric shock, or fire hazard.
• Never turn the fan off by pulling out the plug. Always set the function selector to the 0 position before pulling out the plug.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use the fan if the mains lead or plug is damaged.

Operating instructions

1. The fan should be placed on a level surface.
2. Make sure that the function selector is set to 0. Plug the mains lead into a wall socket.
3. Adjust the tilt angle as required.
4. Select the fan speed, 1 or 2, using the function selector.
5. To turn the fan off, set the function selector to the 0 position.
6. Unplug the fan from the wall socket when it is not in use.

Wall mounting

The base of the fan has 2 keyhole shaped slots for wall mounting. The base is fitted with 4 plastic feet which can be removed for wall mounting.

1. Using the base as a template, mark out and drill two holes in the wall where the fan is to be mounted (c/c 175 mm).
2. Screw the fan to the wall using suitable screws (sold separately).
3. Leave 18 mm (feet removed), 21 mm (feet attached) of the screws protruding from the wall for hanging the base onto. Adjust if necessary.
4. Mount the fan onto the screws.

Care and maintenance

• Unplug the mains lead before cleaning the fan.
• Use only a damp cloth when cleaning; never use strong cleaning agents or solvents.
• Use a vacuum cleaner and clean through the openings in the grille to remove dust if needed.
