- Never place the fan heater on soft surfaces such as beds, blankets, thick rugs, etc.
- Do not place the fan heater in a bathroom, laundry room, or in the near vicinity of the bath or shower.

Thermostat
With the fan heater turned on to one of the heat settings:
- Turn the thermostat dial clockwise to maximum.
- Turn the dial back slowly when the room has reached the desired temperature. Continue turning until there is an audible click. The fan heater stops and the indicator lamp switches off.
- No further adjustment is required. The fan heater will then automatically turn on once the temperature falls below the setting and turn off once the set temperature is reached.
- Set the power switch (4) to position 1 to start the oscillating function.
Tip-over switch
The tip-over switch at the bottom of the fan heater will shut off the fan automatically should it tip over.
Overheating protection
The fan heater has a built-in thermal overheating protection device. If the overheating protection is triggered, the heating element switches off. When the overheating protection has cooled down, the heating element and the heater work normally again. As an extra safety measure the heater is also fitted with a thermal fuse safety cut-off. This thermal fuse cannot be reset, so if it has blown the fan heater cannot be reused. The fan heater should then be discarded.
