Safety

  • Protect your hearing. Listening on high volume for prolonged periods can lead to permanent hearing loss. Set the volume to a low level before using the product.
  • Be careful when using the product if it poses a possible danger to yourself or others due to your inability to clearly hear your surroundings.
  • Never subject the product to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
  • Keep the product away from water or other liquids.
  • Do not place the product in continuous sunlight or near naked flames.
  • Never attempt to tamper with or modify the product in any way.
  • Only use the supplied charger cable.
  • Never let the battery charge for extended periods when it is not in use. Discontinue charging during thunderstorms.
  • Check your local regulations regarding mobile phone use in combination with driving.
  • Shut off both the product and mobile phone in areas where you are requested to do so, such as in hospitals, aircraft or areas where there is a risk of explosion.
  • Do not store the earphones or the charging case in a discharged state for an extended period of time. Charge the earphones at least every third month to prevent the deep discharge of the battery.

On - Hold the button in for 3 seconds on both earphones at the same time. Release the buttons when the LED indicators flash blue or when you hear the voice message "Power on".

Off - Hold in one of the multifunction buttons for 3 seconds. Release the button when the LED indicators flash red or when you hear the voice message "Power off". The earphones will also be switched off when they are placed into the charging case and the lid is closed.

Play - Press either of the multifunction buttons to play media. Use the paired Bluetooth device to adjust the volume in the earphones.

Pause - Press either of the multifunction buttons to pause media.

Return to the previous track - Press the multifunction button of the left earphone twice in quick succession.

Answer a call - Press to answer the call.

End/Reject a call - Press once to end an ongoing call. Press twice in quick succession to reject an incoming call.

Connecting the earphones to a Bluetooth device (Pairing)

Before using the earphones they must be paired with a Bluetooth device. The two devices only need to be paired once.

  1. With the earphones switched off, hold in both multifunction buttons simultaneously for approx. 3 seconds until the LED indicators start to flash blue or you hear the voice message "Power on, Pairing".
  2. When the left earphone stops flashing blue and the right earphone starts to flash red/blue or when you hear the voice message "Connected right channel/Connected left channel", the two earphones have detected each other.
  3. Activate Bluetooth mode on the external device that you want to connect the earphones to. Search for the earphones in your Bluetooth device (refer to the manual for your device).
  4. The earphones will appear on your device as "Exibel BIT100". Select them to pair with the device.
  5. When the pairing has been successful, the right earphone will stop flashing red/blue and the voice message “2nd device connected” will be heard.

Information

  • For phone calls, only the right earphone is used. The left earphone is silent.
  • The earphones will automatically re-connect with the last Bluetooth device they were paired to.
  • If you have connected a mobile phone to the earphones and receive a call whilst you are listening to music, the music will be switched off automatically. Once the call has ended, music playback will be resumed (if your phone settings enable this).

Charging the charging case

  1. Connect the included USB charger lead to the Micro-USB charging port (5) on the charging case and to a computer or other USB charger.
  2. When charging is in progress the red LED indicator (12) will be lit.
  3. When the battery is fully charged, the red indicator will go out and the blue LED indicator (11) will shine.

  • The battery built into the charging case has the capacity to fully charge the earphones 2 times.
  • If the earphones are in the charging case with the lid closed while it is being charged, they too will be charged.

Charging the earphones

  1. Open the lid of the case by pressing the button (8).
  2. Insert the earphones into the charging case making sure that their contacts (9) engage with the contact pins in the charging case.
  3. Carefully close the lid. When the earphones are pushed down onto the contacts they will begin charging.
  4. The LED indicators (10) on the earphones, which amongst other things indicate the charge status, can be seen through the windows (7) in the lid of the charging case.
  5. The LEDs on the earphones shine red while charging is in progress and go out when the earphones are fully charged.

Changing the earbuds

  1. Pull off the earbuds currently on the earphones.
  2. Choose a pair of the included earbuds, line up the markings and push them onto the earphones.
  3. Check the markings. If the earbuds are fitted incorrectly, the earphones will not be able to be charged.

Care and maintenance

Clean the product using a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
