How do I change the attachment on the Fakir Pixie?

The 2-in-1 head can be rotated: press the lock button on the handle and turn the head until it clicks into place with the desired side (straight or crimp) facing out. For curlers, simply slide them onto the heating element.

What is the maximum temperature of the Pixie?

The maximum temperature is 200°C. The device heats up quickly, so it is recommended to switch it on only 30-40 seconds before use.

Can I use the Pixie on wet hair?

No, it is recommended to use the Pixie on dry hair to avoid damage. Using on wet hair can cause burns or hair breakage.

How do I clean the Fakir Pixie?

First, switch off and unplug the appliance. Let it cool completely. Wipe the housing and plates with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or immerse in water. Dry thoroughly before next use.

WARNING!

The appliance will get very hot within a few seconds and must not be placed in contact with the skin after it is plugged in. Switch the appliance on just 30-40 seconds before it is required for use.

Before Use

• Fully unwind the mains cable. Make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
• Place the appliance on a smooth, flat, dry surface, plug in and switch on at the mains supply.
• Push the ON/OFF switch to the ON position, the Power Indicator will light.

2 in 1 Head

- Two function head has two side plates. One side straight and other side crimp.

Straightener

• You fix the plates with straight side out until you hear the click sound.
• For straightening hair, take a section no more than 4 to 5cm wide. Place the hair between the two flat plates. Hold for a couple of seconds and slide the unit in a smooth, even motion towards the ends. For best results, hold the end of the hair while smoothing the section and clip away any hair that isn't being straightened.

WARNING!

Do not hold the hair between the plates for any more than a couple of seconds as this may damage your hair.

- When you have finished on one section, move to another area of hair and repeat the process over the head. Allow the hair to cool before combing through.

Crimp form

You fix the plates with crimp side out until you hear the click sound. For crimpen hair, take a section no more than 4 to 5cm wide. Place the hair between the two plates. Start from deep to the edge.

Wave Curler

Use to give the wave form.

After you kept your hair for a couple of seconds around the tong, release your hair down.

If you would like to make thick curls, then you could take small amount of your hair and roll it around the tong. If you would like to make loose curls, then you could take thick amount of your hair and roll it around the tong.

19mm ∅ Curler

Use to give the fine curl form.

After you kept your hair for a couple of seconds around the tong, release your hair down.

If you would like to make thick curls, then you could take small amount of your hair and roll it around the tong. If you would like to make loose curls, then you could take thick amount of your hair and roll it around the tong.

25mm ∅ Curler

Use to give the curl form.

After you kept your hair for a couple of seconds around the tong, release your hair down.

If you would like to make thick curls, then you could take small amount of your hair and roll it around the tong. If you would like to make loose curls, then you could take thick amount of your hair and roll it around the tong.

WARNING!

Do not hold the hair around the tong for any more than a couple of seconds as this may damage your hair.

- After use, push the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position. Move the hair curler to a place where it is safe for it to cool before storage.

Cleaning and Maintenance of the Appliance

• The appliance must be switched OFF first and then unplugged before cleaning.
• Let the appliance cool down before touching or cleaning the body or plates / tong.
• Clean the housing and plates/tong with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT use any harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents or cleaners. NEVER immerse in water to clean. Dry thoroughly before use.

Waste Disposal

Dispose of the device according to the environmental regulations applicable in your country.

Electrical waste must not be disposed of together with household waste. Bring the worn-out device to a collection center.

The packaging of the device consists of recycling-capable materials.

Place these, sorted out according to material, in the collectors provided, so that recycling can be carried out on them.

For advice on recycling, refer to your local authority or your dealer.
