How do I make hot and intense milk foam?

Press the On/Off button once. The red indicator light will flash and a beep sounds. The appliance runs for 80-120 seconds and turns off automatically with three beeps. The foam is ideal for Macchiato.

What is the maximum amount of milk I can use for foaming?

For foaming functions (hot or cold), the maximum milk capacity is 115 mL (first max line). Using more than 115 mL may cause overflow.

Why does the appliance stop soon after starting?

This may happen if the appliance is restarted without a cooling period. After use, wait 2 minutes for the thermostat to reset, or rinse the inner container with cold water and dry it.

Can I use plant-based milk (soy, almond, etc.)?

Yes, but the foam quality may vary. For best results, use milk with a fat content above 3%. Plant-based milks with lower fat may produce less foam.

How should I clean the milk frother?

Unplug the appliance. Wipe the main body with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not immerse in water. The cover and silicone ring can be rinsed under running water. The scrambler should be washed by hand with warm water; it is not dishwasher safe.

Is the scrambler dishwasher safe?

No, the scrambler is not dishwasher safe. Wash it by hand with warm water and dry thoroughly. Only the cover and silicone ring can be placed in the dishwasher.

What do the different indicator lights mean?

The appliance has four indicator lights: red for Hot and Intense Foam, orange for Hot and Less Intense Foam, yellow for Hot Milk, and blue for Cold and Soft Foam. Each light corresponds to the selected function.

Can I make hot chocolate with this appliance?

Yes. Add hot chocolate powder to milk or water, then select the Hot Milk function. The appliance will heat the mixture and produce a small amount of foam. Your hot chocolate is ready when the cycle ends.

How should I store the milk frother?

Always unplug and let the appliance cool down completely before storing. Keep it in a dry place away from heat sources and children. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.

What should I do if milk overflows during operation?

Overflow usually occurs if the milk amount exceeds the maximum line for the selected function. Make sure to fill between the Min (80 mL) and Max (115 mL for foaming, 240 mL for heating) lines. If overflow happens, unplug and clean immediately.

The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance.

This appliance can be operated by children of 8 years and above, people with limited physical, auditory and cognitive skills or people with lack of experience and knowledge as long as they are under supervision or they are provided instructions regarding the operation of the appliance.

Keep small items of packaging and plastic bags away from children. There is a risk of choke!

• Repair works shall only be undertaken by Fakir authorized service. Repairs that are inadequate or carried out by unauthorized personnel may pose harm to the user.
  -Do not punch a hole or a tear on the section where the on/off button is.

Description of Maximum And Minimum Lines Inside the Appliance

Second Max sign: You can use it for 240 mL milk heating function. When milk is added to this line, only the hot milk preparation function can be used.

First Max Sign: It is the indicator for the 115 mL milk capacity. You can operate the heating and foaming functions by adding 115 mL of milk. However, the capacity of 115 mL is the maximum capacity for the milk foaming function.

Min Sign: It is the indicator for the 80 mL milk capacity. You can operate the heating and foaming functions by adding 80 mL of milk.

WARNING!!

When using the foaming function, the maximum amount of milk in the appliance must be greater than 115 mL. Otherwise, it causes overflows in the appliance. The amount of milk to be added to the appliance depends on the function selected, it is explained above.

Usage

• Install the scrambler so that it corresponds to the channel inside the main body.
• Place the appliance on a flat and sturdy surface.
• Pour milk into your appliance according to the signs inside the main body. (please pay attention to the above tables and explanations for the amount of milk to be added.).
• Operate your appliance according to the function you want to use following the steps below.

Hot and Intense Milk Foam Preparation:

When you press the On and Off Button once, the selected function starts with the light and a beep. After approximately 80-120 seconds of operation, the appliance turns off automatically with three beeps. Obtained milk foam is ideal for Macchiato.

Hot and Less Intense Milk Foam Preparation:

When you press the On and Off Button twice, the selected function starts with the light and a beep. After approximately 80-120 seconds of operation, the appliance turns off automatically with three beeps. Obtained milk foam is ideal for Cappuccino.

Hot Milk Preparation:

When you press the On and Off Button twice, the selected function starts with the light and a beep. After approximately 120-160 seconds of operation, the appliance turns off automatically with three beeps. Obtained milk foam is ideal for Latte.

You do not need to remove the scrambler when you use it in the milk heating function of your appliance. When you use the milk heating function with the scrambler, a small amount of non-dense foam is obtained on the heated milk.

You can prepare hot chocolate using the hot milk preparation function of the appliance. Add hot chocolate preparation powder into milk or water according to your preference, operate your appliance in the hot milk preparation function. Your hot chocolate will be ready when the heating operation of your appliance is completed.

You can also prepare hot chocolate-based foods with special instant powder baby food mixtures by using this function.

Cold and Soft Milk Foam Preparation:

When you press the On and Off Button four times, the selected function starts with the

light and four beeps. After approximately 55-65 seconds of operation, the appliance turns off automatically with three beeps. Obtained cold milk foam is ideal for cold Macchiato.

WARNING!!

Milk foam can be obtained through this appliance with cold milk, but you need to add the milk cold. Your appliance does not reduce the temperature of the milk you have added.

WARNING!!

The milk foam volume to be obtained may vary depending on the type and temperature of the milk used.

WARNING!!

do not insert metal objects inside of your appliance. You can take the milk foams via using wooden or soft plastic spoon.

Tips

• For the best results, use milk with a fat content more than 3%.
• Your appliance warms milk at 60 +/- 5 degrees, milk heated at this temperature is the ideal temperature for coffee.
• After foaming or heating, wait for 2 minutes for the thermostat to be reset and the scrambler is ready for use again. To shorten this time, rinse with cold water after each use and then dry it. Make sure that the power connections of your appliance do not come into contact with water. Be sure to fully dry the appliance before using it again.
• For best results, it is recommended to use the milk at 5-10 °C.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Unplug the appliance. Never immerse the appliance main body and energy plate in water. We recommend that you clean the appliance main body after each use. You can wipe the inside of the appliance with a non-abrasive detergent and a soft cleaning cloth moistened with warm water. Then dry again with a non-abrasive, soft cloth. You can clean the outside of your appliance with a non-abrasive detergent and a mild cleaning cloth moistened with warm water.

WARNING!!

The main body of the appliance is not suitable for washing in the dishwasher.

WARNING!!

Never use metal objects or materials with corrosive effects when cleaning the inside of your appliance.

To wash the cover of your appliance, remove the silicone ring located at the bottom of the cover. Rinse the cover under running water with non-abrasive detergent and a soft cloth.

You can also clean the silicone ring under running water. Dry washed materials with a dry, soft cloth.

You can wash the scrambler with warm water without using any detergents. Never wash the scrambler in the dishwasher. Dry washed scrambler with a dry, soft cloth.

Recycling

If your appliance comes to an end of its lifetime, cut the power cord to make sure it cannot be used.

Electrical waste must not be disposed of together with household waste. Dispose of the device according to the environmental regulations applicable in your country.

The packaging of the appliance consists of recycling-capable materials. Throw out them in suitable recycling bins.
