Case cooling
The case cooling ensures low temperatures on control panel, knob and oven door handle while the oven is in operation.
The case cooling is turned on when a heating mode is set. The air exits between the oven door and control panel.
Telescopic runners
The oven has slide-in racks with telescopic runners on 2 levels.
- To insert the grate, baking tray or other accessories, first pull out the telescopic runners on one level (on both sides).
- Place the grate / baking tray / accessory on the pulled out rails and push them into the oven by hand up to the stop.
- Do not close the oven door unt lithe telescopic slides are fully inserted.

Note:
During the circulation of hot air slight sounds or vibrations made by the fan may occur according to the duration of use and heat development. This is normal.

Energy saving tips
- To avoid heat loss, make sure that the oven door is always completely closed during operation and do not open it more often than necessary.
- If possible, use dark black finished or silicone-coated enamelled tins, because they absorb the oven heat particularly well.
- Only preheat the oven if this is specified in the recipe or in the tables.
- When heating up the empty oven, much energy is needed. It can therefore be saved by baking several dishes one after the other energy because the residual heat is used optimally.
- Switch off the oven about 10 minutes before the end of longer baking times to use the residual heat to finish ooking.
- Turn off the power completely when not in use.
• Always keep the oven interior clean.
Types of heating / programs / oven functions

Oven light
This enables the user to observe the progress of cooking without opening the door, but the setting function knob must be operated to turn on the lamp.

Defrost
At room temperature, air circulation can quickly thaw frozen food (without any heat). This is an easy control and fast way to speed up defrosting time and thawing process for ready-made vegetables and butter-filled foods.

Convection
Components around the convective fan provide an additional heat source and the heat is circulated evenly by the fan, which results in a faster and more economical cooking process.
The temperature can be set in the range of 50^ C to 250^ C.
Suitable for cooking dishes on several levels.

Roasting
For roasting the top and bottom heat or hot air can be used.
- Use tableware made of enamel, fire resistant glass, clay (clay pot) or cast iron.
- Stainless steel frying pots are unfavourable because they reflect the heat.
- In open dishes the roast tans faster. For very large roasts, the grate in combination with the fat pan is suitable.
- A covered roast remains juicy and the oven does not get dirty.
Notes
- Roasting times depend on the type, weight and quality of the meat.
• Always ensure that there is sufficient liquid in the frying vessel or the fat pan so that escaping fat and meat juice do not burn (odors). - First place the roast in the pan with the sideboard side and turn after half the cooking time.
- When roasting larger pieces of meat, more steam is generated, which is deposited at the oven door. The function is not affected by this. After frying, wipe dry. Do not allow the roast to cool in a closed oven.
Grilling and browning
For grilling and browning, use the Grilling/Roasting system or the Double grill.

Caution! Risk of burns when operating the grill. Due to the high heat the parts are very hot. Therefore use kitchen gloves and grill tongs.
- Constantly observe the grilling process. Food can burn very rapidly by the intense heat.
• Always keep children away.
Notes
- Food is grilled with the oven door closed. To grill, preheat the grill heating element briefly.
- Brush in the grate with oil, so the grilled food does not stick.
- Place flat pieces of meat on the grate and insert the drip pan to catch the meat juices.
- Turn flat slices only once, larger pieces several times with a grill tongs.
- Dark meat types tan better and faster than light meat from pork or veal.
- After grilling, clean the oven and the accessories, so that the dirt doesn't stick firmly.
Baking
For baking, the top and bottom heat or the hot air may be used. If there are no special types of baked goods specified in the baking table, select information on a similar type of goods.
Top and bottom heat
- Use one rack level.
- The top and bottom heat is particularly suitable for baking dry cakes, bread and biscuit.
- Use dark baking tins. Light baking pans brown worse as they reflect the heat.
- Put baking pans on the grate.
- Convection
- The hot air is particularly suitable for baking on several levels, for moist cakes and fruit cakes.
- For moist sheet cakes (e.g. fruit cakes), insert a maximum of 2 trays due to the formation of steam.
- The baking time can be different for several trays. It may be necessary to remove one sheet earlier than the other.
- Prepare small pastries of the same thickness and size so that they tan evenly.
- If several cakes are baked at the same time, more steam is produced in the oven, which can lead to condensation at the oven door. This cannot be avoided.
Boiling down
Use convection for boiling down.
- Prepare the food to be cooked and the glasses as usual. Use only commercially available preserving jars with rubber rings and glass lids. Glasses with screw or bayonet locks as well as metal cans are unsuitable. The glasses should be the same size and filled with the same contents.
- Use only fresh foods.
- For sufficient moisture pour about 1 liter of water in the drip pan and and put in the glasses so that they do not touch each other.
- Insert the drip pan with the glasses at the bottom and set 180^ and hot air.
- Watch the food until the liquid starts to pearl in the glasses. Then switch off the oven and allow the food to rest for approx. 30 minutes.
Defrost
Use the defrost function. By air circulation at room temperature, thawing of food gets accelerated.
- Cream and butter cream cakes, cakes and pastries, bread and rolls, deep-frozen fruit are suitable for defrosting.
- For a uniform thawing, rotate or stir defrosted in between.

Case front
- Please use only commercially available agent according to the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning and maintenance of the front surfaces.
- Stainless steel surfaces can be cleaned and wiped dry with mild detergents (eg soap) and a soft cloth.
- Aggressive cleaning agents (eg vinegar-based cleaners), abrasives, abrasive grit and sharp objects will damage the surface of the device!
- Do not use a steam cleaner to clean the oven!
Oven interior
- The oven is easier to clean when it is still slightly warm, but it should never be hot.
- Remove simple grease splashes with rinsing water.
- Use conventional oven cleaner for stubborn or severe soiling. Rinse thoroughly with cold water to remove all cleaning agents are removed completely.
- When using oven sprays, observe the manufacturer's instructions. Painted, anodized, galvanized surfaces, aluminum parts and radiators may not come in contact due to possible damage and discoloration with these sprays.
- Do not use a steam cleaner to clean the oven!
- Clean the accessories such as baking tray, drip pan, rust, etc. with hot water and a little detergent.
- Note: After using a specific detergent, run the oven for 15-20 minutes with maximum heating settings to remove residues in the oven. In this process, touchable parts may be hotter than usual. Keep children away from the oven.

Steam cleaning method
This function facilitates the oven cleaning essentially, because the dirt can be solved more easily by water vapor and heat.
- Remove accessories such as baking tray and grating.
- Pour about 0.4 litres of water with a little detergent into an oven dish or fat pan and place it on the lowest level.
- Close the oven door. Select bottom heat at 50 °C.
- Switch off the unit after about 30 minutes and disconnect the power. Remove the food residues softened by the evaporated water with a cloth.
- For baked-on soils, note the previous cleaning instructions.
Removing the oven door
- Open the door to the maximum angle and pull the lock back at the hinge of the door (1.1).
