Note: During the circulation of hot air slight sounds or vibrations made by the fan may occur according to the duration of use and heat development. This is normal.

Energy saving tips
- If possible, use dark frosted, coated or enamelled ovenware and lightweight baking tins and containers, as they absorb the oven heat particularly well. If possible, do not use heavy accessories with shiny surfaces such as stainless steel or aluminium.
- Only preheat the oven if this is specified in the recipe or in the tables. If necessary, place the food in the oven immediately after reaching the specified temperature.
- When heating up the empty oven, much energy is needed. Therefore energy can be saved by cooking several dishes directly one after the other, because the residual heat is optimally used.
- Switch off the oven about 10 minutes before the end of longer baking times to use the residual heat to finish cooking.

Energy-Saving-Clock included: The backlight of the clock turns off after about 10 minutes.
Types of heating (Heating functions)
The desired heating type is set by repeatedly pressing the key (see corresponding chapter).

Oven light
This enables the user to observe the progress of cooking without opening the door. Oven lamp will light for all cooking functions except ECO-function.

Defrost
In this operating mode, only air circulation takes place. air at room temperature (without heating). It is used for faster but gentle defrosting of frozen goods.

Bottom heat
The (concealed) heating element provides a concentrated heat supply at the bottom of the food. This is suitable, for example, for baking moist cakes with fruit toppings, pizzas, or for dishes with long cooking times such as casseroles, stews or pastries. The temperature can be adjusted in the range of 60 - 200 °C. The standard temperature is 80°C. Also use this mode for steam cleaning (see relevant chapter).

natural_image

Top and Bottom heat
The upper and lower (concealed) heating elements are in operation. The heat is evenly distributed to the food to be cooked. With this type of heating, baking or roasting is only possible on one level, which is suitable, for example, for roasting in a Roman pot, as well as for flat cakes, bread etc. The temperature can be adjusted between 60 - 250 °C. The standard temperature is 180 °C.

Convection
By combining the upper and lower reheating elements with the fan, the heat is distributed fast or and more evenly, saving up to 30-40% energy. The food is browned on the outside and remains juicy inside. This is suitable, for example, for grilling or frying large pieces of meat at high temperatures. The temperature can be adjusted in the range of 60 - 250 °C. The standard temperature is 165 °C.

Construction
① Hook-in racks with rack levels
② Lighting
③ Fan with ring heater
④ Grill heating element
⑤ Top element
⑥ Bottom heat radiator (under the oven floor)
① to ④:
Shelf levels for shelf unit, baking tray or roasting pan. Please note that the numbering of the rack levels from bottom to top.
Telescopic runners (optional)

Telescopic drawer slides and other accessories become hot. Use potholders!
The oven has hook-in racks with telescopic slide rails on 2 or 3 levels (depending on model).
- For onset of rust, baking sheet or roasting pan first pull out the telescopic drawer slides one level.
- Store shelf unit, baking tray or roasting pan on the drawn-out rails and push it by hand entirely in the oven until it stops. The oven door always closes only when the telescopic slide rails are fully inserted.
Case cooling
The case cooling ensures low temperatures on control panel, switch knob and the oven door handle in heated oven.
The case cooling is turned on when a heating mode is set. The air exits between the oven door and control panel.
Roasting
For roasting the top and bottom heat or hot air can be used.
- Use tableware made of enamel, fire resistant glass, clay (clay pot) or cast iron.
- Stainless steel frying pots are unfavourable because they reflect the heat.
- In open dishes the roast tans faster. For very large roasts, the grate in combination with the fat pan is suitable.
- A covered roast remains juicy and the oven does not get dirty.
Notes
- Roasting times depend on the type, weight and quality of the meat.
- Always ensure that there is sufficient liquid in the frying vessel or the fat pan so that escaping fat and meat juice do not burn (odors).
- First place the roast in the pan with the sideboard side and turn after half the cooking time.
- When roasting larger pieces of m at, more steam is generated, which is deposited at the oven door. The function is not affected by this. After frying, wipe dry. Do not allow the roast to cool in a closed oven.
Grilling and browning
For grilling and browning, use the full-width grill or Grilling/Frying system.

Caution! Risk of burns when operating the grill. Due to the high heat the parts are very hot. Therefore use kitchen gloves and grill tongs.
- Constantly observe the grilling process. Food can burn very rapidly by the intense heat.
• Always keep children away.
Notes
- Food is grilled with the oven door closed. To grill, preheat the grill heating element briefly.
- Brush in the grate with oil, so the grilled food does not stick.
- Plac eflat pieces of meat on the grate and insert the drip pan to catch the meat juices.
- Turn flat slices only once, larger pieces several times with a grill tongs.
- Dark meat types tan better and faster than light meat from pork or veal.
- After grilling, clean the oven and the accessories, so that the dirt doesn't stick firmly.
Baking
For baking, the top and bottom heat or the hot air may be used. If there are no special types of baked goods specified in the baking table, select information on a similar type of goods.
Top and bottom heat
- Use one rack level.
- The top and bottom heat is particularly suitable for baking dry cakes, bread and biscuit.
- Use dark baking tins. Light baking pans b own worse as they reflect the heat.
- Put baking pans on the grate.
- Convection
- The hot air is particularly suitable for baking on several levels, for moist cakes and fruit cakes.
- For moist sheet cakes (e.g. fruit cakes), insert a maximum of 2 trays due to the formation of steam.
- The baking time can be different for several trays. It may be necessary to remove one sheet earlier than the other.
- Prepare small pastries of the same thickness and size so that they tan evenly.
- If several cakes are baked at the same time, more steam is produced in the oven, which can lead to condensation at the oven door. This cannot be avoided.
Boiling down
Use convection for boiling down.
- Prepare the food to be cooked and the glasses as usua .1 Use only commercially available preserving jars with rubber rings and glass lids. Glasses with screw or bayonet locks as well as metal cans are unsuitable. The glasses should be the same size and filled with the same contents.
- Use only fresh foods.
- For sufficient moisture pour about 1 liter of water in the drip pan and and put in the glasses so that they do not touch each other.
- Insert the drip pan with the glasses at the bottom and set 180^ and hot air.
- Watch the food until the liquid starts to pearl in the glasses. Then switch off the oven and allow the food to rest for approx. 30 minutes.
Defrost
Use the defrost function. By air circulation at room temperature, thawing of food gets accelerated.
- Cream and butter cream cakes, cakes and pastries, bread and rolls, deep-frozen fruit are suitable for defrosting.
- For a uniform thawing, rotate or stir def østed in between.
