How do I fill the water tank?

Unplug the iron. Move the slider to release the water tank. Remove the water fill plug, fill with demineralized water, replace plug, and reinstall tank.

What type of water should I use?

Use demineralized (distilled) water to prevent scale buildup. Never use chemical additives.

How do I set the temperature?

Turn the temperature control knob to the desired setting: low for synthetics, medium for silk/wool, high for cotton/linen.

Can I use the steam blast at any temperature?

No, the steam blast should only be used at the highest temperature setting (cotton/linen).

This is normal and lasts only a short while. It happens as manufacturing residues burn off.

The iron gets very hot. Keep children away, do not leave unattended, and store out of reach of children under 8.

Read this Manual thoroughly before use
Plug the iron to PE (protective earth) mains outlets only.

- Be extremely careful when children are near the appliance! Never touch or let the appliance hot surfaces be touched when ironing.

Do not immerse the appliance or its power cord in water or other liquids.

Never leave the iron unattended when plugged into mains.

- Never leave the power cord hanging over sharp edges and keep it away from hot surfaces.

Periodically inspect the power cord for damage.

Do not use the appliance when damaged and/or its power cord or plug is damaged; have an Authorised Service repair it for you.

Always unplug the power cord when the appliance is not in use.

Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the mains and wait until it cools down completely.
- When refilling the appliance tank water or emptying it, first unplug the power cord from the mains.

Never touch the iron sole whet the appliance is on!

Fill the iron water tank with water only. Distilled (demineralised) water is recommended to prevent scale deposit on the inner surfaces of the iron.

Never add any chemicals to the water for the iron. They may damage the appliance.

- Keep away from hot metal parts, hot water and hot steam to prevent burns.

Before putting the iron away on a pad or base, make sure that the pad/base rests on a solid, firm surface.
Before turning on the appliance, make sure that the mains voltage matches the parameters on the appliance nameplate.
- Keep your children safe: do not leave any parts of the packaging readily accessible (i.e. plastic bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene inserts, etc.).

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Remove all stickers, protective padding and protective film from the iron sole.
2. Flush the water tank (2).

CAUTION! The iron may emit smoke during the first use. This happens for a short while only.

USING THE IRON

FILLING THE WATER TANK

1. Make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the mains.
2. Move the slider (4) to release the water tank (2).
3. Remove the water fill plug (8), fill the water tank, and replace the plug.
4. Install the water tank in the iron grip (7).
5. Make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the mains.
6. Move the slider (4) to release the water tank (2).
7. Remove the water fill plug (8), fill the water tank, and replace the plug.
8. Install the water tank in the iron grip (7).

CAUTION! Fill the water tank with deionized (demineralized) water only.

TEMPERATURE SETTING

1. Put the iron standing up on the back plate and set the required ironing temperature by turning the temperature control knob (3) to the desired position.

CAUTION! Check the required ironing temperature of your textile product by referring to its information tab.

If you are unsure what fabric type the product to be ironed is, find the correct temperature setting by ironing the part of the product that will be concealed when in use/worn. Start from the lowest temperature setting and increase it gradually. Silk, cotton and synthetics: to prevent glossy spots from heat, iron these materials inside out.

CAUTION! Always start ironing with the products that require the lowest temperature setting.

1. Plug the power cord (9) to a PE (three-bolt/protective earth) mains outlet and wait for approximately 2 minutes.
2. The iron will heat up to the set temperature. If you need to change the temperature setting, always remember to wait until the iron is colder/hotter.

STEAM BLAST

The steam blast of the soleplate helps iron out the most persistent creases.

Use the steam blast only at the highest temperature setting ( ·s ).

1. Check that the water tank is filled.
2. Press the steam blast button (1) as required when ironing.

IRONING FINISH

1. Unplug the power cord from the mains outlet.
2. Put away the iron standing up in a safe place and wait for it to cool down.
3. Empty the water tank.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Make sure that the iron has been unplugged and cooled down.
2. Wipe off trace scale and other dirt from the soleplate with a damp cloth and a (liquid) non-abrasive detergent.

CAUTION! Keep the iron away from metal objects to protect the sole from scratching. Never clean the iron sole with abrasive pads (incl. hard sponges), vinegar or other chemicals.

1. Wipe the iron top body with a damp cloth.
2. Frequently flush the water tank and empty it afterwards.

STORAGE

1. Unplug the power cord from the mains and wait for the iron to cool down.
2. Empty the water tank.
3. Stow the empty iron standing up on a solid, firm surface.
