- In the event of a malfunction, disconnect the speaker from the USB power source.
- Do not expose the device to rain or moisture.
- Never open the casing.
- Only connect the device to a properly installed mains socket via a charger.
- Disconnect the power supply unit from the mains socket when not using the device for an extended period. When disconnecting the power supply unit, only pull at the adapter, not the cord.
- In the event of a thunderstorm, unplug the device's power supply unit from the mains socket.
- If foreign bodies or liquids enter the device, immediately disconnect it from the USB power source. Have the device inspected by qualified personnel before using it again.
- Please ensure that the power source is easily accessible.
- Do not bend or squeeze the cable connections.
- If the power cord is damaged, you will have to get the device repaired by a professional before using it again.
- Do not allow children to use the device unattended.
• Always leave the maintenance work to qualified personnel. Otherwise, you are putting yourself and others at risk.
- In the event of a malfunction, disconnect the device from the power source.
- Spare parts must be ordered directly from the manufacturer.
- Modifications to the device will result in the expiration of the manufacturer's responsibility.
- Remove the protective foils.
- This device should only be cleaned with a dry cloth.

Charging the device
Only use the included charging cable to charge the device and only charge the device via a USB connection.

Pictures and functions
1. On/Off & „M“/Reset:
- press 2 seconds to switch on (previous mode)
- press 8 seconds to reset Bluetooth mode
- press short to switch between modes (Bluetooth, TF card, FM radio, AUX)
2. Forward
- BT and SD mode: press short to fast forward to next track
- FM Mode: press short to switch to next channel
- AUX mode: no function
3. Pause/Play/Accept & End/Mute
- BT & SD mode: press short to start/pause play-back
- BT mode: hold to end connection
- BT mode: press short to accept/end call (when smart phone is connected)
- FM mode: press short to mute
- FM Mode: hold for station scan
4. Rewind
- BT and SD mode: press short to rewind to previous track
- FM mode: press short to switch to previous channel
- AUX mode: no function
5. LED indicator light
- Flashes blue when speaker is switched on

Bluetooth pairing mode: blue light flashes, blue light is permanently on when paired successfully

Play: blue light is permanently on
- Pause/mute: blue light flashes
- FM mode station scan: blue light flashes
- The red light is on when charged in any mode, if fully charged, the red light is off
6. Microphone
- The microphone for hands-free mode is located here
7. TF card reader
- if the speaker should be used in TF card mode, a TF card (micro SD, max 32 GB) has to be inserted here
8. Micro USB port
- port may be used to charge internal battery (via included USB - micro USB cable) via USB port (laptop) or external power adapter (e.g. DC5V/1000mAh phone charger, not included)
- may be used to transfer music files from external device to TF card (if inserted) via included USB - micro USB cable
- if speaker is operated in AUX mode, the external source may be connected here via the included micro USB - 3.5mm AUX cable
9. Volume control
- turn clockwise to increase volume and vice versa to decrease volume
Intelligent power saving mode
- Speaker will automatically switch off if no music is played or no Bluetooth connection is established in 10 minutes.
- When the battery is low, a „beep“ sound will be heard and the volume will turn down automatically. The speaker continues to play until it switches off due to low battery. Now, the speaker needs to be recharged to continue using it.
Establish Bluetooth connection
- Fully charge the speaker's battery.

Press button 1 to switch on speaker and short press 1 to switch to Bluetooth mode („Bluetooth mode“ is said).

The speaker is in pairing mode, blue LED (5) flashes.

Turn on Bluetooth mode on the device which is about to be connected (e.g. smart phone). and pick „BAS 4“ from the list of devices available. For further information see the device's user manual if necessary.

Make sure that the distance between speaker and devices doesn't exceed 10 metres in order to avoid connection problems.

Enter password „0000“ if necessary.

When successfully paired, the blue indicator LED (5) is constantly shining blue.

Now you can play back music from the external device. Play back can be either controlled via the external device or via BAS 4 (forward/rewind, play/pause, volume control). If a smart phone is connected via Bluetooth, the BAS 4 may also be used as hands-free device.

If switched on again, the speaker will reconnect to the last device paired to before switching it off.

In order to reset the Bluetooth connection, press and hold button 1 for about 8 seconds. The Bluetooth connection is terminated and the speaker will go back to pairing mode.
TF card operation
- Fully charge the speaker's battery.
- Insert a TF card into the BAS 4's card slot (7)
- Press button 1 to switch on speaker and short press 1 to switch to TF mode („TF mode“ is said).
- Play back music from the inserted TF card by using the BAS 4's control buttons.
FM radio mode
- Fully charge the speaker's battery.

Press button 1 to switch on speaker and short press 1 to switch to FM radio mode („FM mode“ is said).

Press button 3 to start a station scan. As soon as the scan is finished, FM radio play back will start with the first station to be found.
- Use buttons 2 and 4 to switch between the radio stations.
AUX mode
- Fully charge the speaker's battery.
- Press button 1 to switch on speaker and short press 1 to switch to AUX mode („AUX mode“ is said).
- Connect an external device (e.g. MP3 player) by using the provided micro USB - 3.5mm AUX cable and start to play back music.
- The play back volume may be controlled via the BAS 4's volume control knob (9), other play back options need to be controlled via the external device.
