How do I pair my Imperial BAS 5 with a smartphone?

Turn on the speaker by pressing and holding button 1 for 2 seconds. Short press button 1 to switch to Bluetooth mode (you will hear 'Bluetooth mode'). The blue LED will flash, indicating pairing mode. On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and select 'BAS 5' from the list. If prompted, enter the password '0000'. When paired successfully, the blue LED will stay solid.

Why is the speaker not connecting to Bluetooth?

Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth mode (blue LED flashing). Make sure the distance between devices is within 10 meters and that no other devices are interfering. If problems persist, reset the Bluetooth connection by pressing and holding button 1 for 8 seconds. The speaker will enter pairing mode again.

How do I use a TF card with the BAS 5?

Fully charge the speaker. Insert a micro SD card (max 32 GB) into the TF card slot (7). Press button 1 to turn on the speaker and short press to switch to TF mode (you will hear 'TF mode'). Music playback will start automatically. Use the buttons to control playback.

Can I use the speaker while charging?

1. On/Off & „M“/Reset:

• BT and SD mode: press short to fast forward to next track

5. LED indicator light

Intelligent power saving mode

1. Speaker will automatically switch off if no music is played or no Bluetooth connection is established in 10 minutes.
2. When the battery is low, a „beep“ sound will be heard and the volume will turn down automatically. The speaker continues to play until it switches off due to low battery. Now, the speaker needs to be recharged to continue using it.

Establish Bluetooth connection

1. Fully charge the speaker's battery.
2. Press button 1 to switch on speaker and short press 1 to switch to Bluetooth mode („Bluetooth mode“ is said).
3. The speaker is in pairing mode, blue LED (5) flashes.

4. Turn on Bluetooth mode on the device which is about to be connected (e.g. smart phone). and pick „BAS 5“ from the list of devices available. For further information see the device's user manual if necessary.

5. Make sure that the distance between speaker and devices doesn't exceed 10 metres in order to avoid connection problems.

6. Enter password „0000“ if necessary.
7. When successfully paired, the blue indicator LED (5) is constantly shining blue.
8. Now you can play back music from the external device. Play back can be either controlled via the external device or via BAS 5 (forward/rewind, play/pause, volume control). If a smart phone is connected via Bluetooth, the BAS 5 may also be used as hands-free device.
9. If switched on again, the speaker will reconnect to the last device paired to before switching it off.
10. In order to reset the Bluetooth connection, press and hold button 1 for about 8 seconds. The Bluetooth connection is terminated and the speaker will go back to pairing mode.

TF card operation

1. Fully charge the speaker's battery.
2. Insert a TF card into the BAS 5's card slot (7)
3. Press button 1 to switch on speaker and short press 1 to switch to TF mode („TF mode“ is said).
4. Play back music from the inserted TF card by using the BAS 5's control sensors.

AUX mode

1. Fully charge the speaker's battery.
2. Press button 1 to switch on speaker and short press 1 to switch to AUX mode („AUX mode“ is said).
3. Connect an external device (e.g. MP3 player) by using the provided micro 3.5mm AUX cable and start to play back music.
4. The play back volume may be controlled via the BAS 5's volume control sensor (9), other play back options need

to be controlled via the external device.
