How do I assemble the VOX KR9703 food processor?

Place the bowl on the motor base and twist clockwise until it locks. Insert the spindle, then add the desired blade or disc. Place the lid on the bowl and align the feed tube; twist the lid clockwise to lock. Ensure the safety lock engages before operation.

Can I wash the parts in the dishwasher?

Yes, the bowl, lid, blades, and discs are top-rack dishwasher safe. The motor base should only be wiped with a damp cloth. Dry all parts thoroughly before storing.

What is the maximum capacity for dough?

For dough kneading, do not exceed 1.5 kg of flour (plus liquids) to avoid overloading the motor. Refer to the recipe booklet for specific quantities.

Why does the food processor stop suddenly?

The device has overload protection. If it stops, unplug it, remove some ingredients, and let it cool for 10 minutes. Then restart. Also check that the bowl and lid are properly locked.

How do I clean the blades safely?

Handle blades with care; they are very sharp. Use a brush to remove food residue, or place them in the dishwasher top rack. Never immerse the motor base in water.

Can I crush ice with this food processor?

Yes, the KR9703 can crush ice for smoothies and cocktails. Use the chopping blade and pulse in short bursts. Do not exceed 3-4 ice cubes at a time.

What is the warranty period?

VOX offers a 2-year warranty for the KR9703 food processor from the date of purchase. Keep your receipt for service claims.

Are spare parts available?

How do I use the pulse function?

The pulse function provides short bursts of power for controlled chopping. Press and release the pulse button repeatedly until desired consistency is achieved. Do not hold continuously.

What should I do if the lid does not lock?

Ensure the bowl is correctly locked on the base. Check that the spindle and blade are properly inserted. The lid will only lock if all components are aligned. Do not force it; reposition and try again.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Before using the electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed including the following:

1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that you outlet voltage corresponds to the stated on the rating label of the mixer.

3. Do not operate mixer with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunction, or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service center for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

4. Do not leave mixer unattended while it is operating.

5. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or hot surface.

6. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put mixer or power cord in water or other liquid. This may cause personal injury or damage to the product.

7. Avoid contacting with moving parts. Keep hands, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or damage to the mixer.

8. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children or infirm persons.

9. This appliance is not intended for used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.

10. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

11. Make sure to turn the speed selector to 0 position after each use. Make sure the motor stop completely before disassembling. And the power supply cord plug is removed from outlet.

12. Do not place an appliance on or near a hot gas or on a heated oven.

13. Never pull out beater/dough hook/whisk when the appliance is in operation.

14. Unplug from outlet while not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.

BEFORE USING MIXER

Before assembling the mixer, be sure the power cord is unplugged from the power outlet and the speed selector is in the 0 position.

1. By pressing the tilt button, the head of mixer will automatically release and lock into tile position.
2. Select the desired attachments, which are depending on the mixing task to be performed: beater for mixing and beating egg, and dough hook for kneading, the whisk for beating and frothing egg white.
3. Inserting the Beater/ dough hook/whisk directly, until it locks into position.

Note: Ensure the beater or dough hook or whisk is fully inserted into the socket, otherwise your mixing results may be affected.

1. Place bowl on position. First place the bowl on the base, then turn the bowl in clockwise until it lock into position (see fig.1).
2. To lower the head and place beater / dough hook/whisk into the bowl by holding the head with the one hand and ease the head down. A click sound will be heard when the head has reached the correct position.
3. And make sure the bowl cover in place (see fig.2).

1. Ensure that the speed selector is at the 0 position, then plug in the power source.

2. Turn the speed selector to your desired setting.

Warning: Do not stick knife, metal spoons, fork and so on into bowl when operating.

1. The max operation time per time shall not exceed 7 minutes and minimum 20 minutes rest time must be maintained between two consecutive cycles. When kneading yeast dough, suggest the speed selector first use a low speed and then use high speed to achieve the best results.

Note: during kneading, some flour may be adhered on the inside of the bowl, you shall remove the bowl cover, and scrape the flour on the inside wall of bowl by spatula to obtain well kneading results.

1. When mixing is completed, turn the speed selector to 0 position, unplug the cord from power outlet.

2. Hold down the tilt button, the head of the mixer will automatically lift and lock into the tilt position.

Caution: Before pressing down the tilt button (namely before lifting the head of mixer), make sure the beater or whisk or dough hook rest on the two sides of the head of mixer, otherwise, when lifting the head of mixer, the beater or whisk or dough hook will intervene the mixing bowl; if the beater or whisk or dough hook is resting on the front of the head of mixer, you shall turn on the speed selector again, let the mixer rotate for a few seconds, then turn off the speed selector to stop the beater or whisk or dough hook on the two sides of the head of mixer.

1. If necessary you can scrape the excess food particles from the beaters or dough hooks by plastic spatula.

2. Pull out the beater/dough hook/whisk with a little force. It is recommended to resisting against the washer on the beater/dough hook/whisk to easily pull out the beater/dough hook/whisk.

Caution: The speed selector must be at 0 position and the power outlet must be unplugged before pulling out the beater/dough hook/whisk.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Unplug the appliance and wait it completely cool down before cleaning.
   Caution: the mixer cannot be immersed in water or other liquid.
2. Wipe over the outside surface of the head and base with a dampened cloth and polish with a soft dry cloth.
3. Wipe any excess food particles from the power cord.
4. Immerse the bowl, beater, spatula, dough hook and whisk in warm soapy water for complete cleaning. Then rinse under running water and wipe dry. There also can be placed in the dishwasher.

COOKERY TIPS

1. Refrigerated ingredients, such as butter and eggs, then should be at room temperature before mixing begins. Set these ingredients out ahead of time.
2. To eliminate the possibility of shells or deteriorated-off eggs in your recipe, break eggs into separate container first, then adding to the mixture.
3. Do not over-beat. Be careful that you only mix/blend mixtures until recommended in your recipe. Fold into dry ingredients only until just combined. Always use the low speed.
4. Climatic conditions. Seasonal temperature changes, temperature of ingredients and their texture variation from area to area all play a part in the required mixing time and the results achieved.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD

Always start mixing at lowest speed. When ingredients into a smooth paste, increase to the recommended speed gradually in the recipe sheet.

UPOTREBA MIKSERA

1. Vodite računa da je selektor brzine u položaju “0” pre nego što stavite kabl za napajanje u utičnicu.

2. Podesite selektor brzine na svoju željenu brzinu

UPOZORENJE: Ne stavljajte noževe, metalne kašike, viljuške i slično u posudu dok uređaj radi.

1. Maksimalno vreme rada uređaja ne treba da premašuje 7 minuta i treba pustiti uređaj da se odmori minimum 20 minuta pre ponovnog uključivanja. Za gnječenje testa preporučujemo prvo upotrebu male brzine, a zatim koristite veću brzinu do postizanja željenog rezultata.

Napomena: tokom gnječenja testa brašno se može zalepiti za unutrašnju stranu posude, te možete pomeriti poklopac posude i špatulom ogrebati brašno sa unutrašnje strane posude kako biste postigli željeni rezultat gnječenja testa.

1. Kada završite mućenje, stavite selektor brzine u položaj "0" i isključite kabl iz utičnice.

2. Pritisnite dugme za zaključavanje, glava miksera će se automatski podignuti do zaključane pozicije.

Pažnja: Pre pritiskanja dugmeta za zakjučavanje (pre podizanja glave miksera), vodite računa da mutilica i mešalica leži na sredini glave miksera, kako prilikom podizanja glave miksera ne bi upala u posudu za mućenje; ako je mutilica ili mešalica na prednjoj strani glave miksera, uključite opet selektor brzine, pustite mikser da se okreće nekoliko sekundi, a zatim isključite selektor brzine kako biste zaustavili mutilicu ili mešalicu ili mutilicu za testo na mikseru.

1. Ukoliko je neophodno, gumenom ili drvenom špatulom uklonite ostatke hrane sa mutlica ili sa mešalice za testo.

2. Povucite malo jače prilikom izvlačenja mutlice/ mešalice. Preporučuje se da se odupire otvoru na običnoj mutilici/mešalici/mutilici za testo, kako biste ih lakše izvukli.

Pažnja: Izvlačite mutilicu / mešalicu samo onda kada je selektor brzine u položaju “0” i kada je kabl uređaja isključen iz utičnice.

ČIŠĆENJE I ODRŽAVANJE

1. Izvucite utičnicu iz utikača i sačekajte da se uređaj poptuno ohladi pre čišćenja.
   Pažnja: ne smete potapati uređaj u vodu ili bilo koju vrstu tečnosti.
2. Obrišite spoljne delove glave i baze uređaja vlažnom krpom i osušite mekom suvom krpom.
3. Obrišite sa kabla ostatke hrane ukoliko ih ima.
4. Operite posudu, mutilicu, mešalicu i špatulu u toploj sapunjavoj vodi. Isperite mlazom vode i osušite.

KULINARSKI SAVETI

1. Namirnice iz frižidera, na primer puter i jaja treba da odstoje pre mućenja na sobnoj temperaturi. Blagovremeno izvadite namirnice iz frižidera.
2. Da biste izbegli mogućnost ispadanja ljuski sa jaja ili pokvarena jaja, prvo slomite jaja u posebnu činiju, a onda ih mutite.
3. Ne mutite previše. Vodite računa da mutite i mešate samo onoliko koliko se to traži u receptu. Promešajte suve sastojke dok se ne sjedine i tom prilikom uvek koristite malu brzinu.
4. Klimatski uslovi, sezonske temperaturne promene, temperatura sastojaka i varijacije u njihovoj teksturi imaju veliku ulogu u traženom vremenu mućenja i postizanju željenih rezultata.

VAŽNA SIGURNOSNA UPUTSTVA
