How to clean the Bo Jungle B-Digital humidifier?

Unplug the device and empty the tank. Clean the tank with a soft cloth and diluted white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly. The foam filter can be washed with warm water. The HEPA filter must be replaced every 3 to 6 months. Do not immerse the base.

Can I use essential oils in this humidifier?

Yes, the device is equipped with a built-in aroma diffuser. Add a few drops of essential oil to the designated compartment. Do not pour oil directly into the water tank.

How to set the desired humidity?

Use the touch screen to select automatic or manual mode. In automatic mode, the device maintains humidity around 50-60%. You can also adjust the mist output manually using the + and - buttons.

What to do if the device does not turn on?

Check that the power adapter is properly plugged in and the outlet works. Ensure the water tank is properly in place and the level sensor is clean. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

How often should I change the HEPA filter?

It is recommended to replace the HEPA filter every 3 to 6 months depending on usage and air quality. The foam filter should be washed every two weeks.

The device is making an abnormal noise, what should I do?

Check that the tank is properly seated and the water level is sufficient. A gurgling noise may indicate a misaligned tank. Also clean the foam filter: blockages can increase noise.

How to use the air purification function alone without humidification?

You can use the Purification mode (ventilation only). The device will then circulate air through the HEPA filter without producing mist. Select this mode via the touch screen.

Can I leave the device running all night?

Yes, the device is designed for continuous use. Activate Night mode to reduce noise and turn off LED lights. The timer can be set for automatic shut-off.

How to reset the timer?

To cancel the timer, press the Timer button until the display returns to '0' or 'Off'. You can also turn the device off and on again.

Where to find spare parts and replacement filters?

Spare parts (filters, diffuser, tank) are available on the official Bo Jungle website or from authorized dealers. Always use original parts to ensure performance.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS – PLEASE READ THESE CAREFULLY:

• Before using the appliance for the first time, check if the electrical power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage that is mentioned at the bottom of the appliance.
• Always place the appliance out of the reach of children. Make sure the power cord is also out of the reach of children. Do not allow them to play with the appliance.
• Always ensure there is water in the tank before switching the device on. Never add water directly into the base of the device (part 4).
• Ensure that the unit is placed on a flat and dry surface and that there are no heat sources such as a window, radiator or furnace in the direct vicinity of the appliance.
• Avoid spraying vapour onto furniture or electrical appliances so as not to damage them.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. Never place it directly under the tap.
• Avoid getting water into the base of the appliance as this might damage the internal parts and cause a danger of electrocution. For this reason, do not move the device whilst there is a lot of water in the tank, as the water might overflow and enter the base.
• Never add any other products or substances to the water in the appliance.
• Any modification to this unit without permission of the manufacturer might prove dangerous.
• While the unit is operating, touch only the control panel. Do not touch the water in tank.
• ALWAYS ensure that the power cord is unplugged before cleaning, moving, emptying or filling the appliance.
• Always operate the appliance in normal room temperatures, avoid using it in cold environments. If the water in the device has frozen, do not use it until the ice has been cleared.
• Preferably use boiled or distilled water in the humidifier. Do not fill the tank with water of above 40^ C to avoid discoloration or distortion.
• Unplug the unit when it is not to be used for a longer period of time.
• Do not switch the machine on or off with a wet hand, otherwise there might be a risk of electric shock.

IMPORTANT

Children or persons with physical, sensory or mental impairments should not be allowed to use this appliance unless they are being supervised by an adult who is responsible for their safety.

HEPA FILTER

This device contains a HEPA filter (High Efficiency Particulate Air), which retains 99,99% of all particles of pollutants and allergens in the air that have a size of at least 0.3 m. It can be used to reduce the effects of or to filter the air from pollutants such as dust; chemical substances; tobacco smoke; odours such as odours from pets or paint; allergens (animal dandruff, dust mite, etc.) as well as microorganisms.

AROMA PAD TRAY

This device is equipped with an aroma pad tray. In case you want to diffuse essential oils, such as lavender, eucalyptus, etc. while using the humidifier, please sprinkle some drops of essential oil on the supplied piece of foam, or on a tissue or piece of cotton and insert it into the aroma pad tray.

NEVER add essential oils to the water inside the tank, as this will severely damage the machine!

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Warning: before filling the tank of the device with water, turn the power off and unplug it.

1. Take the water tank off and turn it upside down. Open the tank and insert clean water.

2. Close the tank. In case there are drops of water on it, wipe them off. Reassemble properly.

3. Install the water filter in the circular base as shown below. It filters the water and has a silencing effect on the operation of the machine.

1. Connect the unit to an AC power supply, and press the button (18) to start the humidification function. Press it again to turn the machine off.

2. Humidification button (17): press this button to define whether you want "Light", "Medium" or "Strong" humidification.

3. Light with changing colours: press the button (16) to turn on the light. The colours will change every 3 to 4 seconds. Press the button again to keep it burning in one colour. Press it again to turn the light off.

4. Timer button (14): press this button to define the timing options. You can select a time range between 1 and 9 hours.

5. Automatic humidistat (15): by pressing this button, you can define a desired percentage of moisture. Afterwards, restart the operation within 3 seconds. If you want to cancel this function, choose the current ambient humidity level.

6. Sleep button (13): press the button to start the sleep function. The device will maintain a relative humidity in the range of 65 to 70% . When this level is reached, the machine will automatically stop working. The monitor will also enter power saving mode after 30 seconds and the nightlight will stop burning. In case the humidity becomes lower than this range, the machine will automatically switch back on. Press the button again to stop this function.

7. Air purification function: press the button (12) to start the air purification function. A green light indicates that the function has started. The machine will filter dust, bacteria, nicotine and other harmful substances out of the air while releasing a large number of negative ions. Press the button again to stop this function. Note: if you use the air purification function together with the humidification function, the humidification will also be stronger.

8. When the water in the tank runs out, the built-in safety device will automatically stop the humidification function. An indicator light will start burning. To continue the operation, please cut off the power supply and replenish the water tank.

9. When the device has been used for some time, you will need to replace the air filter, which is sold in a package together with a water filter by the manufacturer. To replace the filter at the back, simply push and the filter will pop out. We recommend doing this every +-3 months, depending on the location where the device is used.

Warning: before replacing the filter, turn the power off and unplug the device.

1. The remote control works within a range of 5 meters.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

Always make sure the device is unplugged before cleaning it.

• Cleaning of water tank (once every 2-3 weeks): screw off the water tank cover, remove the lime scale and rinse with water
• Cleaning of the base (once a week): if there is lime scale in the base, wipe it off with a soft cloth dipped in a mixture of vinegar (1/10) and water (9/10)
• External cleaning: dip a soft cloth in warm water of below 40^ C, wipe off the exterior of the machine. The nozzle can be flushed with water directly.
• Use only a mixture of vinegar (1/10) and water (9/10) to clean the appliance. Do not use any other cleaning agents.
• Replace the water in the tank frequently to keep the unit clean.
• Use a damp, clean cloth to clean the appliance.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Never place it directly under the tap.

Storage:

- Remove the water when the unit is not to be used for a longer period of time. Before storing it, also (air) dry all parts and place the product back in its original package. Otherwise lime scale can damage the machine.

Please remember:

- Never touch the oscillating transducer with a sharp hard tool. Clean it with a wet cloth only.

- Do not wipe the surface or base of the machine with chemical solvents, gasoline, kerosene or polishing powder.

- Do not clean the unit with any detergents, preferably use clean water.

- During cleaning, avoid water getting into the base (part 4), lest the internal electric components should become damp and faulty.

- Do not remove any components.

• In case you suspect that your appliance has a defect or malfunction, if it is not working properly, or if it makes an abnormal sound or emits an odour while in operation, or when the appliance itself or the power cord are damaged, call the after-sales service. Do not use it until it has been checked by a professional. Never dismantle it yourself.
• In accordance with European regulations, waste electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE) cannot be disposed of as regular household waste. It must be taken to a specialized collection point in your neighbourhood.
