Frequently Asked Questions - INFPRV90 INFINITY

How do I pair my phone via Bluetooth?
First, ensure you are in Bluetooth mode by pressing MODE. Then press and hold the BAND button until 'PAIRING' appears. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and select 'PRV-90'. If it doesn't pair, press BAND again. A higher pitch tone and 'CONN OK' on the display confirm success.
How do I reset the radio?
With the radio powered off, press the SEEK DOWN button then SEEK UP button in succession three times. The display will show 'SYS CLR' indicating a successful reset.
Why is there no power to the radio?
Check the wiring connections, replace the fuse if blown, and verify the vehicle battery voltage is at least 11V using a multimeter. Incorrect wiring is a common cause.
How do I clean the radio faceplate?
Use a sponge with mild soap and water. Do not use a pressure washer or any chemicals, as this may damage the waterproof seal.
Why is my USB drive not reading?
Ensure the files are in MP3 or WMA format. Other formats are not supported. Also check that the USB drive is formatted correctly (FAT32 recommended) and not corrupted.
Can I play music from my phone via the auxiliary input?
Yes, but you need an adapter (Prospec part SEAMINI2 or SEAUSBMINI36) to connect the phone's headphone jack to the radio's auxiliary input. Press MODE until 'AUX' appears.
How do I change the tuner region between USA and Europe?
Press and hold the SEL button to enter the menu. Repeatedly press SEL until 'AREA' appears. Then use VOL+ or VOL- to toggle between 'USA' and 'EUROPE'.
What is the beep sound for and how do I adjust it?
The beep sounds when pressing buttons. In the SEL menu, select 'BEEP' and choose: ON (beep every button press), 2ND (beep only on long press), or OFF (no beep).
How do I install the radio properly to avoid water damage?
Route the wiring harness downward to prevent water ingress. Use the provided mounting gasket for a seal. Do not install beneath cup holders. Follow the detailed installation instructions and torque specifications in the manual.
What should I do if I have no sound?
Check speaker connections, ensure speakers are functional (test with known good speaker), and verify the volume on your media device is turned up. If the amplifier output is blown, the unit may need repair.
