How do I set the time on my Auriol IAN 304446 watch?

Press and hold the MODE button until the seconds flash. Press START/STOP to reset seconds to 00. Press MODE again to select hours, then use START/STOP to adjust. Repeat for minutes, year, month, and date. Press MODE to finish.

How do I set the alarm?

Press MODE twice to enter alarm mode. Press and hold MODE until the hour flashes. Use START/STOP to adjust. Press MODE to move to minutes, adjust, then press MODE to exit. To enable/disable alarm, press START/STOP when in alarm mode; a bell icon appears/disappears.

How do I replace the battery?

Use a small screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover (usually on the back). Remove the old battery and insert a new CR2032 with the positive (+) side up. Close the cover carefully. Ensure the gasket is properly seated to maintain water resistance.

Is my Auriol watch waterproof?

The watch is water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM). It is suitable for swimming but not for diving or high-pressure water activities. Avoid pressing buttons underwater.

How do I use the stopwatch?

Press MODE until you enter stopwatch mode (usually STW). Press START/STOP to start timing. Press again to stop. Press LAP/RESET to reset. For lap times, press LAP/RESET while timing; the display shows lap time, then returns to ongoing count.

How do I turn on the backlight?

Press the LIGHT button (usually top left) to activate the backlight for a few seconds. The backlight uses EL technology and is visible in low light.

How do I adjust the date?

Press MODE to enter time setting mode. Press MODE repeatedly to cycle through seconds, hours, minutes, year, month, and date. Use START/STOP to change the value. The watch automatically corrects for months with fewer days.

The watch display is blank. What should I do?

Check if the battery is dead. Replace with a new CR2032. If still blank, the battery contacts may be loose or corroded. Clean contacts with a dry cloth and reinsert battery. If problem persists, contact Auriol service.

How do I clean my Auriol watch?

Wipe the watch with a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water. Do not use chemicals, alcohol, or abrasive cleaners. Dry thoroughly before use. For the strap, you can use mild soapy water but rinse quickly and dry.

The buttons are stuck. How can I fix it?

If buttons become stiff, gently clean around them with a soft brush and lukewarm water. Do not use sharp tools. If still stuck, likely dirt or corrosion inside; contact Auriol customer service for repair.

This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries can be swallowed, which may represent a danger to life. If a battery has been swallowed, medical help is required immediately.

• Do not use the product if it is damaged.
  ■ Repairs should only be carried out by specialist personnel.

■ DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.

DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

Do not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or open them.

Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.

■ Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
- Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.

Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries

• Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.
• Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with plenty of clean water and seek immediate medical attention.

WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries / rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.

In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage.
■ Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period.

Risk of damage of the product

■ Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery!
- Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks (+) and (−) on the battery / rechargeable battery and the product.

• Clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery and in the battery compartment before inserting!
  ■ Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from the product immediately.

Risk of property damage

■ Use only the recommended battery type!
- When inserting the battery ensure the correct polarity!

If necessary, clean the battery and product contacts before inserting the battery.

■ Promptly remove a drained battery from the product.

Before first use

■ Remove all packaging materials from the product.

■ Remove the battery insulation strip from between the battery and the contact. Please see fig. B for replacing battery.

● Replacing the battery

1. Turn wall clock over. Place it on a soft underlay to avoid scratching the surface.
2. Remove the battery and then insert new battery with correct polarity.
3. Be sure to first insert the battery into the battery compartment 3 from the positive terminal, and press down the negative terminal of the battery.
4. The wall clock is now ready for use.

Operation

Setting the time

To set the time, turn the small wheel 2 until the hands are in the desired positions (see fig. B).

● Cleaning and care

The product should only be cleaned on the outside with a soft dry cloth.

If the wall clock is not going to be used, remove the battery.

- Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibreboard / 80–98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please return the batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the product to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries / rechargeable batteries!

Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.
