Frequently Asked Questions - Minos 83820 Elysee

How do I set the date on my Elysee Minos 83820?
Pull the crown out to position 1 and turn it counterclockwise (for Citizen/Miyota and Ronda) or clockwise (for Seiko/TMI) to set the date of the previous day. Then pull to position 2 and advance the hands until the date changes to the current date. Finally, set the correct time and push the crown back to position 0.
How do I set the time on my watch?
Pull the crown out to position 2 and turn it clockwise to set the current time. Ensure you note whether the time is before or after noon to avoid date change at midday. Push the crown back to position 0.
How do I use the chronograph?
Press Pusher A to start or stop the stopwatch. Press Pusher A again to resume. Press Pusher B to reset the hands to zero (only after stopping).
How do I reset the chronograph hands if they are not at zero?
For Citizen/Miyota: Pull crown to position 2, press Pusher A to reset second hand to zero, then adjust time and push crown back. For Ronda: Pull crown to position 2, press both pushers simultaneously for 2 seconds, then use Pusher A and B to align hands. For Seiko/TMI: Pull crown to position 2, press and hold Pusher B for 2 seconds, then release. For ETA/Valjoux: Pull crown to position 2, press Pusher B for 2 seconds.
Why does the date change at noon instead of midnight?
This happens if the hands were set incorrectly. To fix, pull crown to position 2 and advance the hands past 12 o'clock until the date changes. If it changes at noon, then the time is AM; if at midnight, it's PM. Set the correct time accordingly.
How do I adjust the date after a month with less than 31 days?
On the first day of the following month, pull the crown to position 1 and set the date to the correct day. Then pull to position 2 and advance the hands until the date changes if needed, then set the time.
What is the water resistance rating of my Elysee Minos 83820?
The water resistance varies by model. Check the case back: 3 ATM for splash/rain, 5 ATM for non-swimming, 10 ATM for swimming/snorkeling, 20 ATM for diving. Always ensure the crown is pushed in fully.
How do I claim warranty or get repairs?
Your watch has a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects. Send the watch with the original receipt to: ELYSEE Uhren GmbH, Heerdter Lohweg 212, 40549 Düsseldorf, Germany. For questions, email service@elysee-watches.com or call +49 211 522894-12.
How do I download the user manual?
Visit notice-facile.com or the Elysee website. The manual is available as a free PDF download in English and other languages. You can also request a translated version by providing your email and desired language.
How do I change the battery?
Battery replacement should be done by a professional to maintain water resistance. After battery change, you may need to reset the chronograph hands as described in the manual (see reset instructions for your specific movement).
