Frequently Asked Questions - IAN 288610 AURIOL

How do I set the time on my Auriol IAN 288610 watch?

What battery does the Auriol IAN 288610 use?
It typically uses a SR626SW or equivalent silver oxide battery. For exact specification, refer to the manual.
How do I replace the battery?
Open the case back carefully (usually snap-off or screw-type) using a suitable tool. Remove the old battery, insert a new SR626SW battery with correct polarity, and close the case back securely. We recommend having a professional do this to avoid damage.
Is the Auriol IAN 288610 waterproof?
The watch has 3 ATM water resistance, meaning it can withstand splashes but not submersion. Avoid swimming or showering with it.

Pull the crown to the first position. Turn it clockwise to advance the date. If your model has a quick-set date, ensure the time is not set between 9 PM and 3 AM to avoid damaging the mechanism.
What should I do if the watch stops?
First, check if the battery needs replacement. If still not working, it may require professional repair. Avoid tapping or shaking the watch.
How do I clean my Auriol watch?
Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water to wipe the case and strap. Avoid using alcohol, acetone, or abrasive cleaners. Dry thoroughly afterward.
Where can I find the manual for IAN 288610?
The manual is available for free download on notice-facile.com or the manufacturer's support page.
Can I wear the watch while exercising?
Yes, for light exercise like walking. However, due to 3 ATM water resistance, avoid sweating excessively or submerging the watch. Consider a sports watch for intensive activities.
How do I set the alarm on this watch?
This model is an analog watch without alarm function. If your watch has additional features, refer to the manual.
