- Good ventilation is required around the appliance, in order to dissipate the heat properly and to guarantee efficient cooling operation at low power consumption. Sufficient clearance is necessary.

- Gap to the back and to the side walls each approx. 10 cm;

- Avoidtheriinstaddition:

• near heaters, next to a stove, direct sunlight or any other heat sources;
• at locations with high humidity (e.g. outdoors, bathroom), as metal parts would be susceptible to corrosion under such circumstances;
• near volatile or flammable materials (e.g. gas, fuel, alcohol, paint, etc.), in rooms which may have poor air circulation (e.g. garages).
• Do not expose the appliance any weather.

• The installation to the mains supply must conform to the local standards and regulations.

- Connect the mains cable to a properly installed and earthed wall outlet.

- If the plug after installation is not accessible, a corresponding disconnect device must be available to meet the relevant safety regulations.

When replacing the door stops, the appliance must be disconnected from the power supply first.

NOTENOTE

• Ask another person to assist.
• You possibly need: screw wrench, Phillips screwdriver as well as a thin-blade screwdriver.
• *Delivery scope! Keep the parts to be replaced for another possible door stop change.

- Remove the hinge cover and disassemble the upper door hinge; lift

Reverse the door opening Reverse the door opening at the upper unit door.

If required, the door openings can be moved from the right (supplied condition) to the left side.

- Change the positions of the blind plug and the hinge pin holder on the top of the door.

• Release the doorstop (a) and fasten the doorstop (b)* on the underside of the door. Set the door safely aside.
• Disassemble the middle door hinge; lift out the lower unit door.
• Change the positions of the blind plug and the hinge pin holder on the top of the door.
• Move the doorstop on the underside of the door. Set the door safely aside.
• Tilt the unit slightly backwards and lock it in this position. Unscrew the feet and disassemble the lower door hinge.
• Transfer and fasten the lower door hinge to the opposite appliance side; after moving the pin to limit the door opening into the exposed hole. Screw in the feet.
• Put the appliance back in the upright position. Move the blind plugs/screw on the exposed holes of the middle door hinge.
• Put on the lower door and fix it in its intended position.
• Turn the middle door hinge about 180°, transfer and fasten it to the opposite appliance side.

• Put on the upper appliance door and fix in its intended position.

• Transfer and fasten the upper door hinge to the opposite appliance side, after unscrewing the blind cap and screwing it in again on the other appliance side.

• Replace the hinge cover.

Check that the doors are aligned vertically and horizontally to ensure proper opening and closing of the doors.

After transport, the appliance should be left standing upright for 24 hours before connecting to the power supply. Nonobservance could lead to malfunction of the cooling system and causes an appliance breakdown.

Clean the appliance interior including all accessory parts. Consider the instructions which we provide in the chapter "Cleaning and Maintenance".

Operation / settings/estings

Use the SET- button to select the indoor temperature 2^ C – 4^ C – 6^ C – 8^ C or the FAST COOL function. The corresponding selection lights up.

[FAST COOL] Quick cooling function:[FAST

The quick cooling function allows you to bring the stored goods as quickly as possible and still gently to a low temperature.

The device drives up the cooling capacity for a short time; after approx. 2-3 hours the quick cooling function switches off automatically.

The indoor temperature adapts to the preset temperature and the indicator goes off. The function can be ended at any time with the SET- button.

- MAX: maximum air supply - minimum temperature drop

Vegetable box with humidity regulator Vegetable bo The right humidity is crucial for long-lasting fresh fruits and vegetables. With the help of a slider you can regulate the humidity inside the vegetable box.

COOL] Quick cooling function: Is the slider of the vegetable box:

- open: the humidity is low, - closed: the humidity is high.

This allows ideal storage conditions for fruits and vegetables.

Basically, Bastealperature changes depending on the ambient temperature (place of installation), the frequency of opening the door and the equipment.

Always store food covered or packed in order to prevent drying-out and transfer of odor or taste onto other food items. You may pack the food with e.g.

• Polyethylene plastic bags or foil
- Plastic bowl with lid
- Special plastic cover with elastic strip
- Aluminum foil

• Store fresh packed items on the glass shelves, fresh fruits and vegetables in the vegetable box.
• Place bottles in the door storage racks.

- The coldest zone is located at the rear and the lower fridge part. Recommended for the storage of foods such as fish, sausages and meat.

- The warmest zone is located at the door and the upper fridge part.

Suitable for the storage of e.g. cheese and butter.

Freezerreezer

The 4-star freezer allows you to store frozen food at a temperature of ≤ -18^ for several months; to produce ice cubes and to freeze fresh food. The temperature of the freezer is automatically controlled by the temperature control in the fridge.

FreezingFreezing

- We recommend setting the lowest indoor temperature 24 hours before freezing and leaving this position for a few hours even after freezing. The appliance is not compromised if the setting will not revert to a normal operating temperature after the freezing process, but for economic reasons you should possibly avoid it.

- Fresh food should be frozen as fast as possible to the core. Therefore during freezing operation, the temperature of fresh food should be lowered as fast as possible in order to keep formation of ice crystals as little as possible and not to damage the food structure.

• Frozen food should be kept in contact with the bottom of the compartment.
• Keep a space between the individual items, so that the cold air can circulate.

Storing frozen foodStoring frozen food

• Packed frozen merchandise should be stored in a 4-star-freezer compartment in accordance with the manufacturer's data. Make sure the food items do not defrost after purchase and to store them as fast as possible in the freezer.

- It is possible to store food for longer periods of time, up to three months. This period might vary, so observe the storage information on the packaging of the merchandise.

- Do not exceed the maximum freezing capacity. See data under "EU Product Data Sheet" or on the rating label.

- Do not store bottles or cans. These can break when the contents freeze – or even explode, if they contain carbonated drinks.

- Once products have been defrosted halfway or completely, they should be consumed as soon as possible and should not be frozen again, except

they have been processed to a ready meal.

- Do not open the door in case of power failure. If the failure does not take longer than 15 hours, the food will not be affected.

- Do not eat food that is still frozen. Do not eat ice cream directly from the freezer. The cold can cause injuries in the oral cavity.

- Touching metal parts inside the appliance can cause symptoms similar to burns if the skin is very sensitive.

- Never touch frozen food with moist or wet hands.
