Frequently Asked Questions - OV-serie INVENTUM

How do I set the timer on my Inventum OV-serie oven?
Turn the timer knob to the desired cooking time. The oven will automatically shut off when the timer reaches zero. Ensure the function and temperature knobs are set to the required positions.
What does the fan-assisted mode do?
The fan-assisted mode circulates hot air evenly throughout the oven, allowing for consistent cooking on multiple shelves simultaneously. It is ideal for baking and roasting.
How do I clean the oven interior?
Allow the oven to cool, then wipe the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive oven cleaner.
Why is the oven not heating up?
Check that the oven is properly plugged in, the circuit breaker is on, and the timer is set. Ensure the function and temperature knobs are correctly positioned. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
Can I use aluminum foil in the oven?
Yes, but avoid covering the oven bottom or heating elements. Use foil only on oven shelves or to wrap food, ensuring proper air circulation.
How do I replace the oven light bulb?
Disconnect the oven from the power supply. Remove the glass cover by turning it counterclockwise. Replace the bulb with a 25W, 300°C resistant bulb (type G9). Reattach the cover and restore power.
What is the child lock feature and how to activate it?
The child lock prevents accidental operation. To activate, press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds until the indicator lights up. Repeat to deactivate.
How do I defrost food using the oven?
Set the function knob to Defrost mode. The oven fan circulates air without heat. Place frozen food on a shelf and allow time based on food weight and type.
What should I do if the oven door doesn't close properly?
Check for obstructions around the door seal. If the seal is damaged, replace it. Also ensure the hinges are not bent. Contact service center for repairs.

A minimum clearance of 10 cm is required between the oven and any adjacent walls. Do not remove the feet of the microwave. Blocking the intake and/or outlet openings can damage the microwave.

Check that the voltage in your home corresponds with the voltage printed on the bottom of the appliance and plug it in a socket. Make sure the timer knob is set on "0".

We recommend tha you turn the oven on for 15 minutes on the maximum temperature before the first use to eliminate any smells and oils from production.

The heating elements will become red gradually as the temperature of the oven rises.
