What should I do if the vacuum cleaner does not turn on?

Ensure the power cord is fully plugged into the socket and the ON/OFF switch is pressed. Check the power cord for damage; if damaged, contact an authorized service center.

The vacuum cleaner turns off during use and won't restart. What's wrong?

This is likely due to the motor protection thermostat activating because of overheating (e.g., clogged inlet or filters). Press the ON/OFF button, unplug, and let the appliance cool down for a few hours. Clean the dust container and filters before restarting.

How can I improve suction power?

First, check that the dust container is empty and filters are clean. Increase suction using the electronic power regulator on the body or close the manual air flow slide on the handle. Also ensure the brush is set correctly for the floor type.

How do I clean the HEPA premotor filter?

Remove the dust collection system by pressing the release button. Take out the HEPA filter and gently tap off dust. If very dirty, wash it with water and let it dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Replace if damaged.

Can I use the vacuum cleaner to pick up liquids?

No, this appliance is designed for dry vacuum cleaning only. Do not vacuum liquids, as it can damage the motor and void the warranty.

How do I use the Mini Animal Care Turbo Brush?

Attach it to the telescopic pipe or handle. It is designed for removing pet hair from upholstery, carpets, and hard floors. Do not use on animals or on carpets with fringes or pile longer than 15 mm. Do not hold it stationary while the roller spins.

The brush stays too close to the floor, making vacuuming difficult. What can I do?

Reduce the suction power by adjusting the electronic power regulator to a lower setting or by opening the manual air flow slide on the handle. This will lessen the brush's suction against the floor.

How do I replace the outlet filter?

Press the release/locking button of the outlet filter grid to remove it. Extract the old outlet filter. Insert a new or cleaned filter, then snap the grid back until it clicks. Ensure it is securely locked.

Why does the dust collection system not close properly?

The safety interlock prevents closing if the HEPA premotor filter is missing or incorrectly fitted. Make sure the filter is present and pushed in until the top appendix closes the safety interlock.

What is the warranty period and what does it cover?

ASSEMBLY

• Connect the flexible suction pipe (5) to the suction coupling (11) of the appliance rotating the base until the locking buttons of the flexible suction pipe click in their seat (6) indicating proper fastening. [Fig. B1].
• Connect the handle (1) of the flexible pipe to the suction pipe (3).
• Adjust the length of the telescopic pipe by pressing the adjustment button (3A) in the direction of the arrow and removing or retracting the adjustable telescopic pipe (3B) [Fig. C1].
• Select the combination carpet/hard floors brush and similar (4) or the accessory (21) suited to the surface to be cleaned and connect the part to the telescopic pipe (3).

ACCESSORIES

Combination carpet/hard floors brush and similar (4)

Adjust the combination brush according to the type of flooring, using the brush position toggle switch (4A) [Fig. D1] to change from a ceramic floor position to a rugs and carpet position.

Your appliance is equipped with the following attachments:

Crevice tool (21A): To clean corners and crevices, such as radiators, skirting boards, blinds and awnings.

Multipurpose nozzle (21B): To clean sofas, armchairs, upholstered chairs and curtains.

Dusting nozzle (21C): To clean small objects, audio and TV appliances, computers and furniture.

Parquet brush (21D): Special brush to clean parquet floors.

Mini Animal Care Turbo Brush (21E - Only for Art. 8631): Specific for easily removing animal hairs from any surface. Suitable for the following surfaces: sofas, upholstery, ceramic, marble, carpets and rugs without fringes.

NOTE: ☑ DO NOT use the Mini Animal Care Turbo Brush on animals. ☑ DO NOT use the Mini Animal Care Turbo Brush on carpets with fringes, animal furs and rugs with a deep pile, longer than 15mm. Do not hold the brush still on the carpet while the roller is spinning.

ATTENTION! Rotating parts in motion. Trapping hazard.

NOTE: The accessories can be connected to the suction telescopic pipe (3) or directly to the handle (1).

USE

Pull the power cable (14) completely up to the yellow mark, and insert the plug into the socket. The yellow mark on the cable is before the end part of the cable marked in red.

WARNING! DO NOT use this appliance if there are visible signs of damage.

WARNING! DO NOT use this applause to vacuum:

• burning ashes, cigarette butts, etc.;
• liquids, such as carpet cleaners;
• sharp or hard objects, such as nails or large glass shards;
• fine powder, such as cement;
• toner powder (for laser printers, copy machines, etc.).

CAUTION! DO NOT pull the supply cord beyond the red mark in order not to damage the appliance.

WARNING! Unwind the supply cord completely to prevent hazardous overheating.

NOTE:A new appliance can develop odours the first few times it is used. These odours are harmless and disappear shortly afterwards. Ventilate the room.

• Press the ON/OFF button (8) once to switch the vacuum cleaner on [Fig.F1].
• Adjust the suction force by means of the electronic power regulator (7).
  Minimum: for curtains, fine and delicate fabrics.
  Average: for standard cleaning, sofas, armchairs, upholstered chairs, rugs and carpets.
  Maximum: for smooth floors.

- The suction power can also be changed by means of the manual adjusting device of the air flow (2) found on the handle (1) [Fig. E1].

Closed: Increases the suction power.

Open: Reduces the suction power.

• Switch off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the ON/OFF button once (8) and unplug the power cord (14) from the power socket.
• Press the automatic cord winding button (15) to wind the power cable [Fig.F1]. Hold the plug while winding the cable in order to prevent whiplash.

ATTENTION! The vacuum cleaner has a motor protection thermostat, which intervenes in the case of overheating (caused by the inlet opening, filters, etc. being clogged). If it is triggered, press the ON/OFF (8) button to switch the appliance off and let it cool down completely for a few hours. Verify whether dust has clogged the filters or the inlet opening before restarting the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or performing maintenance.

CAUTION! Periodically verify that filters and the inlet opening are not clogged.

CAUTION! DO NOT use solvents or other aggressive or abrasive detergents in order not to damage the appliance surfaces.

CAUTION! Empty the dust container and clean the filters after every use in order not to damage the appliance.

WARNING! Let the filters dry completely after washing them for at least 24 hours before reassembly.

WARNING! Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reusing the appliance.

CLEANING THE APPLIANCE

When necessary, clean the appliance with a damp cloth.

CLEANING THE COMBINATION CARPET/HARD FLOORS AND SIMILAR (4)

With the motor ON, rub the brush with your hand to remove the dust and fluff, which will be drawn.

CLEANING THE DUST COLLECTION SYSTEM (16)

• Clean the dust collection system following the instructions below, paying attention to the pictures in the illustrative guide.
• Fit the dust collection system (16) back onto the vacuum cleaner ensuring the position lock clicks.

CLEANING THE DUST CONTAINER (16E)

• Press the release button of the dust collection system (9) to extract the dust collection system (16) from the appliance [Fig.G1].
• Press the upper cover opening/locking button (16B) to open the upper cover (16A) [Fig. G2].
• Empty the container.
• Fit the upper cover back on (16A) ensuring the couplings with the dust container (16E) are perfectly engaged and the upper cover opening/locking button (16B) is perfectly engaged as well.
• Reinserire il sistema di raccolta polvere (16) sull'aspirapolvere avendo cura che scatti il blocco posizione.

CLEANING OR REPLACING THE PREMOTOR HEPA FILTER (16D)

• Press the release button of the dust collection system (9) to extract the dust collection system (16) from the appliance [Fig. G1].
• Remove the Hepa premotor filter (16D) from the dust collection system (16) [Fig. G3].
• If the Hepa premotor filter (16D) is obstructed by dust, remove the dust taking care not to damage it.
• If the filter is especially dirty, replace it with a new one.
• Fit the HEPA premotor filter (16D) back onto the dust collection system (16) taking care to push the frame until the top appendix closes the safety interlock (16C).
• Fit the dust collection system (16) onto the vacuum cleaner ensuring the position lock clicks.

CLEANING OR REPLACING THE OUTLET FILTER (16)

• Press the release/locking button of the outlet filter grid (20) to remove the outlet filter grid (19).
• Extract the outlet filter (18) [Fig. G4].
• If the outlet filter (18) is obstructed by dust, remove the dust taking care not to damage it.
• If the filter is especially dirty, replace it with a new one.
• Refit the outlet filter (18) in the appliance [Fig. G4].
• Fit the outlet filter grid back on (19) and click the coupling/locking button of the outlet filter grid in position (20).

STORING AND CARING FOR THE PRODUCT

The flexible suction pipe (5) can be disconnected from the appliance before putting it away. To this end, press the locking buttons of the flexible suction pipe (6) and disconnect the flexible suction pipe (5).

The suction pipe (3) with the combined brush (4) may be stored by hooking them to the appliance with the suitable couplings (12 or 17); the relative pictures in the illustrative guide are marked with the parking symbol [Fig. F2, F3].

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM SOLUTION
The appliance does not go on.	·Ensure the power cord (14) is connected to the power socket.·Ensure the ON/OFF switch (8) has been pressed [Fig. F1].
The appliance turns off during use and does not turn on again.	·The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a protective motor thermostat that shuts off the appliance in the event of overheating! (caused by obstructing objects or a clogged dust collection system).·In the event of tripping, press the ON/OFF switch , unplug the power cord (14) from the power socket and let the vacuum cleaner cool down completely.·Remove any dust or the obstructing object before restarting the appliance.
The vacuum cleaner does not suction well..	·Power regulator at a minimum, raise the suction power.·The dust container (16E) is full: clean the container.·The filters are clogged: clean or replace the filters.
The dust collection system does not close correctly.	·The safety interlock (16C) does not allow the dust collection system to be inserted (16) if the HEPA premotor filter (16D) is absent.·Make sure the HEPA premotor filter is present (16D) and it is fitted correctly.
The vacuum cleaner produces odours the first few times it is used.	·These odours are harmless and disappear shortly afterwards. Ventilate the room.
The brush remains too close to the floor while vacuuming.	·Decrease the suction power by acting on the electronic power regulator (7) or on the manual air flow regulation device (2).

DISPOSAL

The packaging of the appliance is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of it in accordance with the environmental protection regulations.

Pursuant to Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the appliance must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its useful life. The user must therefore take the appliance to an appropriate recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment. Alternatively, instead of handling the disposal, the user can hand over the appliance to the retailer when a new, equivalent one is purchased. The user can hand over electronic products measuring less than 25 cm to retailers of electronic products having a sales area of at least 400 m ^2 free of charge and with no obligation to buy. Appropriate separate collection for the subsequent procedure for the decommissioned appliance for recycling, which includes treatment and environmentally friendly disposal helps prevent adverse effects on the environment and health and promotes reusing and/or recycling materials that the appliance consists of.

The appliance is guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. Evidence shall be taken as the date indicated on the receipt/invoice (provided it is legible), unless the buyer can prove that the delivery occurred later. In the event of a defect in the product which existed prior to the date of delivery, appliance repair or replacement is guaranteed free of charge, unless one of the two solutions is disproportionate to the other. The buyer has the obligation to notify an authorised Service Centre of the non-conformity within two months from discovering the defect.

The warranty does not cover any part that may be defective due to:

a) Damage from transport or accidental drops
b) Incorrect installation or inadequate electrical system
c) Repairs or alterations made by unauthorised personnel
d) Poor or incorrect maintenance and cleaning
e) Product and/or product parts subject to wear and/or consumables
f) Failure to comply with the appliance's operating instructions, negligent or careless use,
g) vacuum materials that can damage the appliance (ex. Ashes, liquids, fine dust, toner...)
h) missed cleaning of the dust bin and the filter (for all models with cyclonic technology)
i) non substitution of a full dust bag and filters (for bagged models)
j) obstruction of the suction inlet
k) recharge of the battery not compliant to the instruction's chapter preparation/use (for products with batteries)
I) use of the appliance without the filters/dust bag
m) using the appliance without pulling out the cable completely (for appliances with cable winding)
n) winded, bent or damaged cable due to negligence.

The list above is purely indicative and not exhaustive and in any case, this warranty shall not cover all circumstances that cannot be attributed to manufacturing defects of the appliance. In addition, the warranty does not cover any case of improper use of the appliance and professional use.

All liability is disclaimed for any damage that may directly or indirectly be caused to persons, property and pets as a result of failure to comply with all the instructions provided in the “Instructions and Warnings Booklet” regarding appliance installation, use and maintenance.

This is without prejudice to any contractual warranty claims against the seller.

Methods of support

Appliance repairs must be carried out by an authorised Service Centre. If the faulty appliance is under warranty, it must be sent to the Service Centre together with a fiscal document evidencing the date of sale or delivery.
