- Read Instructions - All the safety and operating instructions should be read before the appliance is operated.
- Retain Instructions - The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
- Heed Warnings - All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to.
- Water and Moisture – Do not use the apparatus near water (e.g. bath tub, sink, swimming pool) or in wet places or tropical climates. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on top of the apparatus. Do not expose the apparatus to dripping or splashing.
- Setup – The apparatus should only be placed on a stable, flat surface. Do not let the apparatus fall down or expose it to shock.
- Wall or Ceiling Mounting - The appliance should be mounted to a wall or ceiling only as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Ventilation - The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, the appliance should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug, or similar surface that may block the ventilation openings; or, placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet that may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings. Ensure a minimum distance of 5 cm around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation. Ensure that the ventilation is not impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
- Heat - The appliance should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Power Sources - The appliance should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.
- Cables and Plugs – The mains plug shall remain readily operable. All cables should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.
- Cleaning - The appliance should be cleaned only as recommended by the manufacturer. Clean by wiping with a dry and clean cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or detergents. Always pull the mains plug before cleaning the unit.
- Non-use Periods - The power cord of the appliance should be unplugged from the outlet when left unused for a long period of time.
- Object and Liquid Entry - Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through openings.
- Damage Requiring Service - The appliance should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
a) The power-supply cord or the plug has been damaged; or
b) Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled into the appliance; or
c) The appliance has been exposed to rain; or
d) The appliance does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance; or
e) The appliance has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged. - Servicing - The user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that described in the operating instructions. All other servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.
- Open Fire – Keep the apparatus away from open fires. Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles on the apparatus.
- Thunderstorms – During a thunderstorm the mains plug should be unplugged.
- Safety Check – After servicing the technician should conduct a safety check in order to ensure that the apparatus is working properly and safely.

Batteries – Always place batteries in the correct polarization into electrical components. Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. Do not mix old and new batteries. Take attention to the environmental aspects of battery disposal. Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. Remove batteries before disposing of the product.

Batteries
Batteries may not be disposed of in regular house hold trash. Every consumer has the obligation to return batteries to special disposal locations.

- Handling discs
• Always keep the CD compartment shut to prevent dust or dirt from getting into the CD mechanism.
- Do not touch the recorded surface.
- Do not stick paper or write on either side of the CD.
- Do not bend the CD.
- Only handle a disc on its outer edges.



- Storing discs
• To avoid scratches/damages always put CDs back into their cases after use.
- Do not expose CDs to direct sunlight, dust, dirt, high temperatures, high humidity or water.

Cleaning discs

Use a soft cloth to wipe fingerprints and dust from the disc surface.
- Carefully move the cloth from the center of the disc to its edge:

- Compatibility
- Due to the numerous compression methods, some discs may not play.

BASIC OPERATIONS (FOR CD/MP3)
- Turn the VOLUME/POWER switch knob clockwise to turn the power on.
- Flip open function control/radio dial compartment behind song list.
- Side the mode selector to CD.
- Press on CD door marked "OPEN/CLOSE", CD door will open.
- Place a disc on to the disc tray
- Press ▶▶| (SKIP FORWARD) to skip ahead to next track.
- Press |◀◀ (SKIP BACKWARD) to skip back to previous track.

Press ■ STOP button to stop playing disc.
-
Press ▶|| PLAY/PAUSE button to play disc, press twice to temporarily stop disc play at the current play position. Press the button again to resume disc play from the pause mode.
Notes:
- If the disc is seriously scratched or too dirty, disc play may not start.
- If an improperly centered disc is played, noise can be heard in the mechanism. The use of such discs should be avoided.
- Do not tilt the unit with discs loaded. Doing so may cause malfunctions.
- During the electrostatic discharge, the product may be malfunctioning. Reset it to return its normal operation.
PLAY MODE "P-MODE" (FOR CD/MP3)
Mode sequence REPEAT > REPEAT ALBUM (FOR MP3 ONLY) > REPEAT ALL > MIX > CLEAR
1. Press P-MODE button once once, display shows "REP.". The disc will repeat with a single track.
2. Press P-MODE button twice, display shows "REP. ALBUM". The disc will play through each track in a single folder to the end, and the CD player will automatically return to the beginning of the first track in the folder. (FOR MP3 PLAYBACK ONLY).
3. Press P-MODE button 3 times, display shows "REP. ALL". The disc will play through each track to the end of the disc, and the CD player will automatically return to the beginning of the first track..
4. Press P-MODE button 4 times, display shows "MIX". The disc will play randomly.
5. Press one more time to turn off play mode.
Notes on CD-R/RW discs:
- Because of non-standardized format definition/ production of CD-R/RW, playback quality and performance are not guaranteed.
• Manufacturer is not responsible for the playability of CD-R/RW due to recording conditions, such as PC performance, writing software, media ability, etc.
• Do not attach a seal or label to either side of the CD-R/RW disc. It may cause a malfunction.
FOLDER UP "FL-UP" (FOR MP3 ONLY)
For MP3 playback, when the unit is at stop mode, skip up to next folder/album at increasing order & it will show the folder/album number; press ▶|| PLAY/PAUSE button to start the playback of the selected folder/album. When the unit is at MP3 playback mode, skip up to next folder/album at increasing order & the folder/album number will flash for 3 seconds; then it will start playback of the selected folder/album.
Note:
- Folder Up is only applicable for the disc stored with over one folder/album format.
RADIO OPERATION
- Set the MODE selector to FM.
- Adjust the sound with the VOLUME/POWER knob.
- Tune to the desired radio station by using the TUNING knob.
- To turn off the radio, rotate the VOLUME/POWER switch knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click sound.
Note:
- For best FM reception completely unwind the FM wire antenna located at the back of the unit.
LIGHT OPERATION
- Turn the LIGHT SWITCH clockwise to turn the lighting on.
- Turn the LIGHT SWITCH counter-clockwise to turn the lighting off.
Note:
- Located at the back of the unit there is the LIGHT MODE switch. If the switch is set to "PLAY" while the lighting is on, then the color of the lighting will change continuously. If the switch is set to "HOLD" while the lighting is on, then the color of the lighting will not change
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The changing colors sequences of lights are controlled by IC. The color of the lights may be different than the last shown color or the lights may be turned off completely when the light mode is switched from "PLAY" to "HOLD". In this case set the switch back and forth once again.
AUXILIARY CONNECTION "AUX IN"
- Connect your own device (i.e. MP3 player) to the "AUX IN connection" (located at the back of cabinet) with stereo plug and detachable rack (packed separately).

Adjust the ON / OFF switch next to the jack to the 'ON' position.

Switch the mode selector to "AUX".
- Adjust the sound with the VOLUME knob or the volume control of the device.
- When change to another mode, the device will continue to play with no sound until the ON / OFF switch is adjusted to 'OFF' position and switch off the device.
Notes:
- Adjust the ON / OFF switch to the 'OFF' position when not in use.
USB / SD CARD READER

- Insert your USB Flash Drive or SD/MMC Card into the slots. (*If both devices are inserted, it will only play USB)
- The unit will search and play all the MP3 formatted files and repeat all tracks automatically. (*When playing USB Flash Drive, LED indicator will keep flashing in green, when playing SD/MMC Card, LED indicator will keep flashing in red.
- Press REPEAT button of the USB-SD control panel while playing to cancel repeat function. Press again while playing to resume repeat function of all the track.
- Press ▶|| button of the USB-SD control panel to temporarily stop playing. Press again to resume playing.
- Press ▶▶| button of the USB-SD control panel to skip ahead to the next track.(*Press and hold this button over few seconds to adjust volume up or adjust the main volume control knob)
- Press |◀◀ button of the USB-SD control panel to skip back to the previous track.(*Press and hold this button over few seconds to adjust volume down or adjust the main volume control knob)
- Press EQ button of the USB-SD control panel to change your desired EQ playing mode (*The EQ mode sequence as Normal>Jazz>Rock>Pop>Classic).
IMPORTANT NOTE:
To avoid malfunction on both your devices, make sure the unit is in off mode before insert the USB FLASH DRIVE / SD/MMC CARD!

• Manufacturer is not responsible for the playability of USB Flash Drive or SD Memory Card, due to recording conditions, such as PC performance, writing software, media ability, etc. - Manufacturer is not responsible for any loss or damage of data.
- A USB device must always be connected directly to the USB port of this product. The use of a USB extension cord is not supported by this product. The USB port of this product cannot communicate with a computer directly.
