No, the Gent G52 is designed for dry use only. Do not use in the shower or submerge in water.

How do I clean the shaver?

Remove the foil and blade unit, rinse under running water, and use the included cleaning brush to remove hair. Let all parts dry before reassembling.

When should I replace the foil and blades?

Replace the foil every 12-18 months and the blades every 18-24 months for optimal performance.

Is the shaver suitable for sensitive skin?

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please acquaint precisely with whole of this instruction before the blender for the first time.

1. Before using the appliance for the first time please read carefully this operating manual.
2. The appliance should be connected to sockets compliant with current parameters given on the housing.
3. The appliance should be disconnected by pulling on the plug, not on the power cable.
4. When used in the bathroom, the appliance must be disconnected after use because water proximity is dangerous even if the appliance is switched off.
5. The device can be used by children aged 8 and older and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons without sufficient experience and knowledge only under supervision or if previously instructed on the safe use of the appliance and the possible risks. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance that are the responsibility of the user shall not be carried out by children without supervision. Protect the appliance and the power cord against children under 8 years old.
6. The appliance is intended only for domestic use.
7. Children must not be left unsupervised near the appliance.
8. The appliance must not be used outdoors.
9. The power cable and the whole appliance should be regularly checked for damages; the appliance cannot be switched on if any damages have been found.
10. In event of power cable defects it must be replaced in the service centre to avoid risk.
11. Repairs of the equipment can only be performed by an authorized servicing point.
12. Any modernizations or the use of non-original spare parts or components of the appliance are prohibited and may cause a serious hazard to the user. The company Eldom sp. z o. o. shall bear no responsibility for any possible damages resulting from the improper usage of the appliance.

INTENDED USE

The G52 shaver is designed for shaving and trimming the hairs in the nose and ears.

HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE

- The appliance can be used after charging the battery or by connecting to the mains power cable should be properly connected to the socket (5).

- The shaver starts working after switching the switch (3)

- In order to turn off the appliance, the switch (3) should be pressed again

- The appliance is equipped with an internal battery. Charging time is about 2,5 hours.

NOTE. The charging time must not exceed 10 hours; if it does, this will affect the service life of the battery, and in extreme cases it can cause damage to the battery

• In order to increase the battery life-span charging should be done in one uninterrupted cycle after full discharging.
• Indicator (4) shows the charge level.
• After charging, the appliance should be disconnected from the mains and the power cord should be unplugged from the socket (5).
• The appliance is equipped with a trimmer (6) to cut beard, which is activated by the switch (7).

The unit is equipped with the switch button lock (3) preventing from accidental switching on. In order to activate the lock, switch on the unit using the switch on button (3) and hold the button a few seconds. In order to deactivate the lock, push and hold the switch button (3) for a few seconds.

OPERATION

Shaving

- Fit the head (1) into the body (8) of the device.

- Use the switch (3) to activate the device.

- Place the head on your skin and move it around, gently pressing down.

Note. The surface of the blade should rest flat on the skin.

- After you have finished shaving, use the switch (3) to turn the device off and clean it.

Nose and ears trimmer

- Fit the trimmer (9) into the body (8) of the device.

- Use the switch (3) to activate the device.

- Carefully slide the trimmer tip (9) into your nose or ear and cut the hair.

- After you have finished shaving, use the switch (3) to turn the device off and clean it.

Beard trimmer

- Open the trimmer (6) using the button (7).

- Use the switch (3) to activate the device.

- Apply the trimmer blade (6) to the chin or sideburns, and cut to obtain the desired effect.

- After you have finished shaving, use the switch (3) to turn the device off and clean it.

The unit is equipped with the switch button lock (3) preventing from accidental switching on. In order to activate the lock, switch on the unit using the switch on button (3) and hold the button a few seconds.

In order to deactivate the lock, push and hold the switch button (3) for a few seconds.

CLEANING AND PRESERVATION

- Before cleaning turn off the appliance and remove the power cable from the socket.

- After each shaving the blades chamber should be empty. In order to do it you must open the shaving head housing by pressing button (2) and remove the blades fastening by gently turning the knob (fig. 1). In order to clean the appliance the attached brush should be used.

- The whole appliance cannot be submersed in water and other liquids.

- Do not use any cleansing agents which are strong and damage the surface.

- Wipe the housing with a moistened cloth.
