Dear customer,

Thank you for purchasing our product. This kettle is an excellent solution for express heating up to 1.7 liters of water at once, with display of current water temperature on LED display and automatic temperature programs for maintaining temperature of various drinks. Before using the product, read the entire manual and keep it for future reference.

Important safety precautions:

When using electrical equipment you should always follow these precautions:

- THE DEVICE CAN BE USED BY CHILDREN FROM EIGHT YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER PEOPLE WITH IMPAIRED PHYSICAL, SENSORY OR MENTAL CAPABILITIES OR LACK OF EXPERIENCE IF THEY ARE UNDER SUPERVISION OR THEY RECEIVED INSTRUCTION ON THE USE OF THIS DEVICE AND UNDERSTAND THE POTENTIAL RISKS. CHILDREN SHOULD NOT PLAY WITH THE DEVICE. CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE MUST BE PERFORMED ONLY BY CHILDREN OLDER THAN EIGHT YEARS AND UNDER SUPERVISION.

- Children under eight years of age should be kept away from the device and its power cord.

- Before connecting to the power outlet, make sure the voltage stated on the label on the power base is the same as in your power grid. If not, do not use product and return it to the dealer.

- Be careful not to use kettle without closed lid. Do not open it when the water boils. The risk of scalding.

- Use only with the power base.

- When removing the kettle from the base, it must be turned off.

- Beware of steam rising from the spout or lid.

- The kettle should not be used without a lid.

- When the kettle boils water, do not leave it unattended.

- Do not touch the hot spots, use a handle.

- Do not fill the kettle or pour it out, when it is in the base. Unplug it before cleaning.

- When the kettle is not in use, unplug it from the socket.

- If any part of kettle or power cord is damaged in any way or is malfunctioning, do not use it and contact the service.

- Kettle repair and the power cord replacement can only be done by a qualified service technician.

- Device and power cord must not come into contact with hot surfaces.

- The kettle must stand on a firm, flat surface.

- The kettle is only intended for use indoors, not outdoors.

- Do not handle the power cord with wet hands. Do not pull the wire, when unplugging, hold the plug.

- Use the unit only in locations where it can not fall over, and away from heat sources, flammable objects and wet surfaces.

- Kettle is not intended for storing of liquids. Do not leave the water in it for more than four hours.

- Do not immerse device into water. Coupling connector at the base must not come in contact with water.

- Always make sure that the device is switched off when removing it from the power base, unpluging it from the wall socket, when you are going to clean it, or you will not use it for a longer time.

- Keep the kettle and the power cord out of the reach of children and pets. When the device is used near children, it is necessary to have control over them.

- This device is intended only for normal household. It should not be used in any other way than to what is intended.

- Do not allow power cord to be hanging down from the desktop, to touch hot surfaces or be tangled.

- Do not fill above the MAX mark. Boiling water can spray out when the kettle is overfilled.

- The device contains no parts that can be repaired by the user.

- To prevent damage by steam, turn the spout away from walls, use kettle only in places where it can not tip over, and away from any source that generates heat (eg. fireplaces, stoves, ovens, stoves, grills or stoves) from flammable objects (eg . tablecloths, curtains, blinds fabric etc.) from moist surfaces (eg. bathtubs, sinks, washbasins etc.).

BEFORE USE

1. Remove the kettle and power base of all packaging materials and dispose of them in order to not fall into the hands of children (choking hazard). But do not remove the label attached on the bottom of the kettle and the bottom of the base.
2. Ensure that those power supply voltage of the kettle corresponds to your power grid.
3. Before using the kettle for the first time or if you have not used it for some time, fill it to the MAX mark with water and boil. Pour out this water and refill the kettle with cold water.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. During filling, always first remove the kettle from the power base.
2. Lift the lid.
3. Fill the kettle max. up to symbol MAX with cold water.
4. Close the lid and return kettle to the power base. Make sure the lid is firmly on the kettle, before you start to boil the water.
5. Plug the power base into an active power socket.
6. Start to boil water by pushing switch to the position „I“.
7. Power indicator lights up and the kettle starts to boil. DO NOT LEAVE THE LID OPEN DURING BOILING. There is current water temperature on the display.
8. Kettle will turn itself off, when the water is boiled.
9. Cooking can be interrupted at any time by moving the switch to the position „0“.
10. After the kettle switches itself off, you should wait before another use. This is usually about 20 seconds.
11. If you accidentally turn on the kettle empty or all the water boils away, the overheat protection is activated. Before refilling water and boiling, wait 15 minutes.
12. If you want warm water at your desired temperature lower than 100^ C, you can do so using showing the current temperature on the LED display. After reaching your desired temperature switches kettle off uving button no. 4 on the handle.
13. Kettle also has three preset programs with the system maintaining the temperature of 40/60/80°C for various kinds of beverages such as tea with honey 40°C, tea with milk 60°C, green tea 80°C. You can use two methods.

a) Place the kettle with water, place on a base and set your choice using the touch button no.10 with preset temperature programs 40/60/80°C. The display will flash the set temperature, and then displays the current temperature of the water in the kettle. At this point you have activated the set program, which is gradually warming the water to your desired temperature and its subsequent maintaining in range ±4°C. This procedure is however time consuming. If you poured water into the kettle with a temperature higher than the temperature you selected a preset program, water will cool down to the set temperature, and then activates the program to maintain the set temperature. This process would be the same, if you set a program with keeping the temperature and push button no. 4 for standard heating. Kettle would shut off when reaching the temperature 100°C. After that, there would be a gradual cooling of water up to the set temperature and then the function would be activated, keeping the temperature.

To achieve selected temperature faster we recommend:

b) Place the kettle with water, place on a base and set your choice using the touch button no.10 with preset temperature programs 40/60/80°C. Then start standard heating using button 4. Once the display shows the temperature about 10°C lower than the temperature you set, turn the kettle off.

Now is active previously set temperature program with temperature maintaining. This process is significantly faster. The program now automatically maintains the set temperature ±3^ .

Note: If you leave the kettle on a base and plugged into the power socket, LED display will always be active and will show the temperature value. Therefore, we recommend that you turn off the kettle and unplug it from the socket.

CLEANING

1. Before storing or cleaning the kettle, always disconnect the power supply and let the kettle to cool completely.
2. Never immerse any part of the power cord, plug, power base or kettle into any liquid. Do not wash the kettle in the dishwasher.
3. Clean the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth. Carefully dry the entire kettle. Do not clean with strong chemicals or abrasives as they can damage the surface of the kettle.
4. After some time limescale may appear in the kettle. In normal use and normal water hardness it is not necessary to clean the pot more than twice a year. If the appliance automatically switches off even before the water boils, it indicates that you must remove limescale. Limescale can be removed using the following methods:

Vinegar: Fill the kettle with half a liter of vinegar and let it to stand for about half an hour. Do not boil vinegar! Once this period is over, empty the kettle and rinse it several times with water.

Citric acid: boil half a liter of water and then add to it 25 g of citric acid. Let the kettle stand for about fifteen minutes. Empty the kettle and rinse several times with water.

Cleaners for limestone meant for other devices may damage the kettle.

No not clean inside of the kettle with abrasive materials or solvents.

TIPS

• If the kettle turns off before the water starts to boil, it indicates there is limescale in it.
  The second possibility is that there is not enough of no water in the kettle.
• If the kettle was turned off by the protection, due to lack of water, leave it before another filling for 15 minutes. Then you can boil again.
