Safety instructions

WARNING!
Disregarding these instructions brings the risk of capsizing, drifting away, and drowning.
Uneven distribution of weight on the product can also cause it to capsize.

WARNING!
Risk of suffocation for children! Do not allow children to play unsupervised with the packaging material or the product.

WARNING! RISK OF DEATH!
Does not safeguard against drowning! For swimmers only!

WARNING!
When climbing onto the hammock, the air chambers may get pushed down under the water surface.

- Use the product exclusively for its intended use.
• The product may only be used by persons who are familiar with the safety instructions. - Observe the maximum load limit.
Exceeding the weight limit can cause damage to the product and impair its functionality. - Check the product before use for damage or wear.
The product may only be used in good order and condition!
Do not use the product if there is visible or suspected damage. - Do not use the product if it loses air.
Avoiding material damage!
- All inflatable products are susceptible to cold. Never unfold and inflate the product at temperatures below 15°C!
- If air pressure in the product increases under direct sunlight, this must be offset appropriately by letting air out.
- Make sure that the product - especially when inflated - does not come into contact with stones, gravel, or sharp objects and does not rub or drag on anything since this may cause damage to the material.
- Insert only appropriate pump adaptors into the safety valves.
The valves may otherwise become damaged.
- Do not over-inflate since this brings the risk of tearing open the welded seams. Close valves fully after inflation.
- Avoid contact with sharp, hot, pointed, or dangerous objects.
- WARNING!
Avoid using sunscreen and skin care products that contain alcohol. Sunscreen and skin care products containing alcohol can dissolve the colour coating of inflatable PVC products. This may cause stains on your body, your clothing, or other objects that come into contact.
- Do not use the product in hot tubs.
Inflating
WARNING!
• Always fully inflate all air chambers!
- Avoid over-inflating the air chambers because there is a risk of over-stretching or the welded seams could tear open.
- Do not use your mouth to inflate. To inflate the product use commercially available foot pumps or double-stroke piston pumps with suitable pump adaptors.
- Do not use a compressor or compressed air bottles to inflate the product. This can cause damage to the product.
• Make sure that the chambers are filled with air uniformly and consecutively.
- Inflate the chambers only to the extent that they are still slightly wavy on the inside after inflating.
Inflate the air chambers in the following sequence (fig. A):
-
- Head section (1)
-
- Reclining surface (2)
-
Open the valve stopper (3a) (fig. B).
- Inflate the air chambers.
- Close the valve stopper and press in the valve by applying light pressure.
Deflating
- Pull the valve out.
- Lightly squeeze the valve stem (3b) (fig. B) so that the air can escape. Or insert the ventilation pipe into the valve to allow the air to escape more quickly.
