Turn the switch on the front panel to:

- LOW (low temperature)

- default cooking time: 8 hours, maximum cooking time to set: 24 hours

• HIGH (low temperature)

- default cooking time: 4 hours, maximum cooking time to set: 24 hours

- KEEP WARM

- default keep warm time: 6 hours, maximum keep warm to set: 24 hours

These functions operate from 30 minutes to 24 hours in 30 minute steps. You cannot manually change the cooking temperature. After selecting the mode, the appliance will start cooking automatically within 3 seconds.

After the cooking time has elapsed, „----“ flashes on the display, the appliance switches to the „Keep warm“ mode, where it remains for a maximum of 24 hours.

CAUTION: During cooking, the body of the cooker (base) will be very warm. Wear gloves when handling a slow cooker.

Tips for slow cooking

- For best cooking results, fill the pot at least halfway.

- Small quantities can be prepared, but in this case it may be necessary to adjust the cooking time.

- When cooking soup or vegetables, leave enough space under the lid.

- When cooking vegetables and meat, put vegetables, then meat and other ingredients in the pot first.

- When cooking in HIGH mode, observe the cooking progress as some soups may start to foam. Remember that raising the lid frequently will increase cooking time.

• Always add warm liquid before cooking frozen food.

- Due to the nature of slow cooking, the meat does not turn brown as if cooked in a pan or oven. It is not necessary to fry meat or poultry before slow cooking, but you can do it if you like it more.

- Roasting minced beef, bacon and sausage before slow cooking may be desirable if you want to remove excess fat from the meat. The meat should be placed in the inner pot so that it does not touch the glass lid.

- Lean meat such as chicken or pork tenderloin cooks faster than fibrous and fatty meat such as beef or pork hanger. Cooking meat with bone will increase cooking time over meat without bone.

- Avoid opening a slow cooker during cooking, as this will cause considerable heat and steam losses. If you still need to open the pot, do it as quickly as possible.

- Cut the meat into smaller pieces when cooked together with pre-cooked foods such as beans, fruits or vegetables (mushrooms, diced onion, eggplant or finely chopped vegetables).

• Meat and vegetables retain more juice during slow cooking than traditional cooking.

- Some foods such as carrots, potatoes and beets require longer cooking than meat, so cut them into smaller pieces before adding them to the meat. Make sure you place them on the underside of the inner pot and cover with liquid.

• To achieve the fullest taste in slow cooking, add crushed herbs and spices.

- Beans must completely soften before they can be combined with sweet or sour foods.

- When cooking in a slow cooker, remember that liquids are not produced in the same way as conventional cooking. Reduce the amount of liquid in the recipe that is not designed for a slow cooker. Soups and rice are an exception to this rule.

- Remember that fluids can be added at any time.

• If the food still contains too much liquid to finish cooking, reprogram the slow cooker for 45

minutes. Check the result every 15 minutes. After 30 - 45 minutes, the amount of liquid is reduced.

  • Most recipes that require uncooked meat and vegetables require approximately 6-8 hours of low temperature cooking.
  • Add fresh dairy products (milk, sour cream or yoghurt) just before serving on the table.
  • It is not recommended to cook rice, noodles and pasta for a long time. Cook them separately and add them to a slow pan for the last 30 minutes.

After cooking, carefully lift the glass lid slightly. This will allow the steam to escape before removing the inner cooking pot from the appliance (base). Remove the inner pot, unplug the power cord and let the appliance cool down. After the appliance has cooled down completely, clean the appliance, see „Cleaning Instructions“.

FRY

Turn the switch on the front panel to the position „FRY“.

• The default temperature is 160^ C and the default time is 30 minutes.
- Press the button and set the temperature with the „+“ or „-“ buttons (120°C, 140°C, 160°C, 180°C or 200°C), then press the button again and press „+“ or „-“ also adjust the cooking time.
• After setting the temperature and time, the appliance will start cooking automatically.
- Pour 1-2 tablespoons of rapeseed oil into the inner cooking pot before adding food. Then add evenly chopped onions, garlic, celery, carrots, herbs, meat and other ingredients as needed.

Frying with frying basket

Place the ingredients in the frying basket and then place it inside the cooking pot. Select the frying temperature and time. First, the appliance will start to warm up to the operating temperature, the display will show “---”, after the preheating phase, the display will alternately show the cooking time and temperature.

NOTICE: The maximum amount of oil is 2.5 liters and the raw material in the frypot must not exceed 2/3 of the basket volume.

You can stop the cooking process at any time by turning the knob to the „OFF“ position.

SOUS VIDE

  1. Seal the food under vacuum into suitable size bags.
  2. Fill the inner container with water and place it in a sealed sachet in room temperature water. Make sure the bags are completely immersed in water.
  3. When cooking multiple bags, use the „SOUS VIDE“ stand to separate the bags.
  4. With this function, the cooking time can be selected from 30 minutes to 24 hours. The cooking temperature can be selected from 25^ C to 100^ C at 5^ C intervals.
  5. Place the lid on the multifunction pot and select the „SOUS VIDE“ function. This function is most effective when the pot is covered with a lid.
  6. The preset temperature is 55^ C and 30 min. Press the button and set the temperature with

the „+“ or „-“ buttons, then press the 📄 button again and press the „+“ or „-“ buttons to adjust the cooking time.

You can stop the cooking process at any time by turning the knob to the „OFF“ position.

Cooking with the Sous vide method is the real cooking art! Although it is basically a very simple cooking method, this cooking method is often used by gourmet chefs to prepare complex dishes, rich appetizers and vegetables. But now you can bring five-star cooking quality to your kitchen.

  • The thickness of meat, poultry and fish determines the cooking time. After removing the food from the bag, use a thermometer to verify that a safe internal temperature has been reached.
  • Food safety during handling and cooking is always a priority. If you are not sure about cooking correctly, add 30 minutes of cooking to safely pasteurize eggs or poultry.
  • Frying after cooking gives the food a crispy texture. When cooking is complete, do not pour oil in a hot pan and cook the cooked meat quickly for 30 seconds on each side.
  • Vegetables will cook more quickly when cut into thin small pieces.
  • Fruit can be cooked using sous vide to prepare toppings, purees, syrups and more. Cook for 2 to 2½ hours at 70°C and allow to cool in a plastic bag before use.
  • Always use vacuum bags without BPA when cooking food.

YOGURT

  1. Turn the front panel switch to „SOUS VIDE“.
  2. Pour 2 liters of milk into the inner cooking pot, then mix 2 teaspoons of yogurt (unsweetened, without fruit) into the milk and set for 8 to 12 hours to make yoghurt. Adjust the amount of milk and yogurt according to your preferences.
  3. It is not possible to change the cooking temperature for this function.
  4. After the cultivation is complete, remove the yogurt and store it in the refrigerator.

RICE

  1. Place rice with water in an inner pot and close it with a glass lid.
  2. Turn the front panel switch to „RICE“.
  3. No time is displayed during this function because the unit does not operate with the humidity sensor. The LED display will show „On“. When the cooking process is complete, the appliance will automatically switch to maintain mode.

• We recommend using 1:1 ratio (1 cup water per 1 cup rice).
- Rinse the rice in water and add salt. Add butter if you want to improve its taste, also prevent sticking.

MANUAL

Turn the switch on the front panel to „MANUAL“.

The working time can be set from 10 minutes to 90 minutes. Temperature can be set from 20°C to 200°C. The default time is 30 minutes and the default temperature is 100°C. Press the button and set the temperature with the „+“ or „-” buttons, then press the button again and press the „+“ or „-” buttons to adjust the working time. You can use the manual temperature control, for example, to prepare „Fondue“, by setting the temperature according to your preference in the range from 30°C to 85°C, for example for chocolate fondue.

WARNING: The inner cooking pot is safe to use in the oven. The maximum oven temperature set point must not exceed 180^ C.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Clean the appliance after each use and before storage, allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning and disconnect it from the power supply.
  • We recommend cleaning the appliance as soon as it has cooled down before the food remains dry.
  • Wash the detachable parts (inner cooking pot and glass lid) in hot water with neutral kitchen detergent. Then rinse them with clean water, wipe them dry and put them back in place.
  • Wipe the base of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use detergents or abrasives as they may scratch the non-stick coating of the cooking container.
