Frequently Asked Questions - MOD-33 MPM

How do I charge the battery?
You can charge the battery either using the battery dock or while installed in the vacuum cleaner. For dock charging: insert the battery into the dock, connect the charger cable to the dock, and plug into mains. The red LED stays on during charging and goes off when full. For on-board charging: plug the battery into the motor module, connect the charger cable to the power input port, and plug into mains. The power LED is solid red during charging and turns solid green when full. Charging takes about 4.5 to 5 hours.
How long does the battery last?
The fully charged battery provides up to 30 minutes of operation on the low suction power level. On high power, runtime is shorter. When the battery is low, the power LED flashes red and the vacuum cleaner will eventually stop; recharge to continue.
How do I empty the dust canister?
Stop the vacuum cleaner. Detach the dust canister and hold it over a dust bin. Release the lock on the bottom to swing open the lid and empty the contents. Close the lid securely before reattaching.
How do I clean the filters?
Empty the dust canister, then remove the pre-filter and HEPA filter casing. Rotate the handle counter-clockwise to separate them. Flush both filters in warm water and let them dry completely before reinstalling. Never install wet filters.
What accessories are included with the MOD-33?
The vacuum cleaner comes with: a universal power brush with LED lamp, a universal hard/soft flooring power brush, a round brush tool, a crevice tool, a union piece, a universal narrow swivel brush, a wand, a lithium-ion battery, a battery charger, a battery dock, and a wall mount.
Why is the suction power low?
Low suction can be caused by a clogged wand or tool, or a full dust canister. Check for blockages and empty the canister if needed. Also ensure filters are clean.
Can I use the vacuum cleaner on stairs?
Yes, but take extreme caution when cleaning stairs. Ensure the vacuum cleaner is stable and do not leave it unattended.
How do I assemble the vacuum cleaner?
First install the pre-filter and HEPA filter into the dust canister, then attach the dust canister lid and close the swing-open lid. Connect the battery to the motor module. Place the dust canister onto the motor module and secure it with the latch. Attach the wand or a tool to the wand port.
How do I park the vacuum cleaner in the wall mount?
Choose a wall location high enough so the vacuum cleaner with wand and brush rests on the ground. Attach the wall mount with screws (103 mm spacing, screw heads ~5 mm above surface). Park the vacuum cleaner with the wand downward into the mount.
What should I do if the vacuum cleaner stops working?
Check if the battery is discharged – recharge it. If the battery is charging, wait until complete. Also ensure the dust canister is not overfilled and that the wand/tools are not clogged. Refer to the troubleshooting section in the manual.

OVERVIEW

MOD-33 features the operating convenience of a cordless cyclone vacuum cleaner. The cyclone operation helps filter out the collected dust with a centrifugal effect and without any dust bags. The dust is collected into a canister, which is easily emptied to a dust bin. The lithium-ion battery features one of the highest capacity to mass ratio to make the vacuum cleaner light in weight and run for a long time before recharging. The vacuum cleaner has two suction power levels to choose from.
