Frequently Asked Questions - MOD-41 MPM

How does the water filter work in the MOD-41?
The vacuum cleaner uses a water container (1.2 L) to trap dust and allergens. Air passes through water and then a HEPA 13 filter for fine particles. The DWS technology ensures proper elimination of dust and mites.
Can I vacuum wet surfaces with this vacuum cleaner?
Yes, but only with the floating nozzle installed (replace the DWS diffuser). Do not suck in more than 2.7 L of water. Use only the narrow brush or crevice nozzle for wet vacuuming.
How often should I clean the HEPA filter?
Clean the HEPA 13 filter regularly under running water. Replace it when it loses its properties (typically after several months). The motor protection filter should be replaced every 6 months.
What is the maximum water level in the container?
The maximum water level is 1.2 L, marked with a line. Do not overfill or underfill, as it may damage the vacuum cleaner.
Is this vacuum cleaner suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes, it is designed for allergic and asthmatic people. The water filtration and HEPA 13 filter trap dust mites and allergens, and the DWS technology ensures clean exhaust air.
How do I clean the water container after use?
After each use, empty and rinse the container with water. Dry it thoroughly. The lid and diffuser can be cleaned with mild detergent under running water. Do not use sharp objects or abrasive cleaners.
Can I use the vacuum cleaner without water?
For dry vacuuming, you must pour water into the container (up to 1.2 L). Without water, the filter system will not work properly and may damage the appliance.
What accessories are included with the MOD-41?
Accessories include: floor/carpet nozzle, crevice nozzle, round brush, narrow brush, small turbo brush, turbo brush, parquet brush, air refresher, and accessories holder.
How do I rewind the power cord?
Press the power cord rewind button (A2) on the motor unit. Always hold the plug to guide the cord and avoid whipping.
What should I do if suction power decreases?
Check for clogs in the hose, pipe, or diffuser. Unclog them as needed. Also ensure the water container is not overfilled and that the filters are clean.

DRY VACUUMING

Install the DWS diffuser B1 in the water container B4 and pour the water avoiding to exceed the MAX 1.2l line marked in the container..

  1. Choose the most suitable accessories to perform cleaning works. The vacuum cleaner is equipped with rubberised wheels to prevent the vacuumed surfaces from scratching. In order to obtain the effective cleaning, use the accessories in the following manner:

a. Floor and carpet nozzle D2 to vacuum carpets and hard surfaces, such as ceramic tiles and terracotta.
b. Crevice nozzle D3 to remove dust from hardly accessible places..
c. Narrow brush 05 to clean window shutters, stands, clothes, electrical equipment, lampshades furniture, etc.
d. Round brush D4 to clean curtains, upholstery, etc.
e. Telescopic tube C2 that is directly connected to the suction hose C1 should be used for cleaning large stains, such as residues, chips, etc.
f. Small turbo brush 07 to effectively clean such surfaces as sofa, armchairs, as well as car upholstery.

g. Turbo brush D8 to effectively clean such surfaces as carpets, floor coverings
h. Parquet brush 09 to vacuum surfaces sensitive to scratches, such as wooden floors, parquets and floor panels

  1. Insert the vacuum cleaner plug into the mains socket and turn on the appliance by pressing (ON/OFF) switch button A1.

  2. After finishing the vacuuming process, turn off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the (ON/OFF) switch button A1. Remove the plug A9 from the mains socket and rewind the power cord by pressing the cord rewind button A2.

  3. Carry the vacuum cleaner by holding its handle A6. CAUTION: In the dry vacuuming mode vacuum dry surfaces only. If there is a foam in the container (e.g. as a result of sucking in foaming substances), turn off the appliance and change the water immediately.

WET VACUUMING

  1. Install the floating nozzle B6 in your vacuum cleaner in the place of the diffuser B4 and do not pour the water into the container B1.
  2. During wet vacuuming the vacuum cleaner can suck in the water. The suction of solid fractions should be limited because in this mode it is the suction of water, e.g. incidentally spilled on the floor or left after cleaning the floorings and floors, etc., that forms the priority for the vacuum cleaner.
  3. For wet vacuuming use the narrow brush D5, after the prior removal of hair from it, or the crevice nozzle D3. Do not suck in the water with other nozzles.
  4. After turning on the appliance, vacuum the wet surfaces. Suck in only the water with the application of the vacuum cleaner. Do not suck in other liquids.
  5. After sucking in 2.7l of water the float will close the suction port and the water will cease to be sucked in. Turn off the vacuum cleaner in

such a situation, disconnect it from the mains and remove the water from the water container.

CAUTION! Do not suck in more than 2.7l of water. The excess water can lead to the failure of the appliance. Empty the water container regularly.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CAUTION! Do not use sharp items, abrasive pastes, solvents and other strong chemical agent for cleaning – their use can damage the appliance.

CAUTION! In order to achieve the best efficiency of the appliance, clean the filters and water container after each use.

CAUTION! Do not install wet filters – it forms the vacuum cleaner damage risk.

CAUTION! Prior to performing any maintenance or cleaning activities, always turn off the appliance and unplug it from the mains socket. Do not immerse the appliance in water!

  1. After each use remove the water from the water container. Clean and dry the container.
  2. Never leave the vacuum cleaner with dirty water inside the water container. Moisture and impurities can give rise to unpleasant smells inside the container and adversely affect further use of the appliance.
  3. Remove the diffuser B4 and clean it under warm running water with detergent. Remember to clean the DWS diffuser ports thoroughly. Similarly clean the float nozzle B6.
  4. Check the cleanliness of HEPA 13 filter regularly. The filter can be cleaned under running water. After a longer period of using, the filter loses its properties. Then, it is necessary to replace it with the new one.

  5. Periodically remove the sponge silencer insert from the HEPA filter (option), rinse it clean in water and leave until completely dry. Next, reinstall it in the HEPA filter.

  6. Periodically remove the motor protection filter B5 from the vacuum cleaner, rinse it in water and dry it. Replace it every 6 months.

  7. To maintain the warranty rights, ensure the safety and satisfaction associated with using the appliance, use only original parts and accessories.
