How do I set a specific temperature?
Press the temperature adjustment buttons (+) or (-) to select desired temperature (40°C, 60°C, 70°C, 80°C, 90°C or 100°C). Then press the O/I button to start heating. The kettle will beep three times when the set temperature is reached.

Read carefully this manual before using the appliance.
- Close supervision is necessary when using the appliance near children.
Do not use the appliance for the purposes different than it was designed for.
Do not immerse the appliance, its cord and plug in water or any other liquids.
Do not leave the appliance switched on when unattended.
▶ Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use or before cleaning.
Do not use the appliance if it is damaged, also if the power cord or plug is damaged - return the appliance for repair to an authorized service centre.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Do not place the cord over sharp edges and keep it away from hot surfaces.
- Do not fill the kettle above the maximum and below the minimum level - the boiling water may splash out of the kettle.

When boiling water the lid of the kettle must be closed.
▶ Use the kettle only with the base attached.
Do not place the kettle near heat sources and on hot surfaces.
▶ Use the kettle only for boiling water.

When boiling the water do not touch the housing as it may be hot.

The appliance shall be plugged to an outlet with a protective earth pin.

This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.

This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children without supervision.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- Store the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age.

Do not pull the plug by holding the power cord.

If water gets to the internal electrical components, as well as to the power base, before plugging the kettle into the power outlet, dry it thoroughly.

Do not switch on the kettle without water.

The appliance is not intended for use with external timers or separate remote control systems.

Do not connect the power plug with wet hands.
Before cleaning allow the kettle to cool down completely.

Use the kettle with its associated filter only.

BEFORE USE

  1. The kettle must be placed on a stable, flat and dry surface.
  2. Before first use fill the kettle up to the maximum level, boil the water, pour it out and rinse the kettle. Repeat the procedure several times to remove manufacturing deposits, etc.
  3. The kettle will turn off automatically when boiling or heating is finished. Each of the specified processes can be switched off if necessary by the O/I switch ⑪.

  4. After the water has boiled or the kettle has been switched off, wait several seconds before switching it on again.

  5. If you switch the kettle on without water, the overheat protection will automatically shut the appliance off. Leave the kettle to cool down for about 15 minutes before refilling.

USING THE KETTLE

  1. Before filling with water, remove the kettle from the base 6.
  2. Open the lid and fill the kettle with water up to the desired level (between 0,5 l and 1,7 l).
  3. After plugging the base to the power outlet, the appliance beeps which means that the base is connected to the power source.
  4. Close the lid and place the kettle on the power base ⑥, the O/I button stars to flash blue. The display ⑧ will display the current water temperature in the kettle (E - no kettle on the base).
  5. Press the O/I button ⑪ without setting other functions. The kettle turns on and beeps, the O/I button will be lit blue. The kettle boils water up to 100°C, then switches off automatically and beeps three times and the button will flash.
  6. If you only need to warm up water, adjust the water temperature with the temperature control buttons ⑨ and ⑩. The set temperature will be displayed on the display ⑧. Having set the temperature, start heating with the power switch ⑪. You can select these temperature settings: 40°C, 60 °C, 70 °C, 80 °C, 90°C, 100 °C. The reaching of the set temperature will be signaled by a triple beep - the backlight of the switch will start flashing.
  7. When the water is at the set temperature, the kettle will turn off with three beeps.
  8. Turn on the hold temperature by pressing 12. The backlight around the button will start flashing. Choose the temperature setting with 9 or 10. You can select these temperature settings: 40°C, 60°C, 70°C, 80°C, 90°C, 100°C. Pressing 12 again will end the Hold Temperature. Pressing the power switch 11 starts the Hold Temperature. You can interrupt it any time by pressing 11 or 12. The kettle will hold the temperature of water in the Hold Temperature mode for up to 1 hour and turn itself off afterward.

NOTE! The kettle may be used only with the based attached. Do not open the lid when boiling water.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

NOTE! Regularly remove limescale deposits from the kettle according to the instructions below. Before cleaning the kettle, unplug it and wait until it cools down.

  1. Fill the kettle with water and vinegar or juice (citric acid) or use a special descaling agent available in household stores.
  2. Leave the kettle for 1 hour, then boil the water.
  3. Empty the kettle and rinse it thoroughly with cold water.

  4. If necessary repeat the procedure 1-3 times.

  5. To eliminate the smell of vinegar, boil the water several times and pour it out.
  6. Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces of the kettle with a cloth.
  7. Descaling protects the kettle from damages.

WARNING! Do not immerse the appliance and the base in water or any other liquids. This may cause electric shock or fire.

NOTE! Do not use wire brush or any other abrasive objects. Do not clean the kettle with strong detergents.
