How do I pair the SilverCrest SKRB 32 A1 with my phone?

Ensure the headphones are charged. Press and hold the power button until the LED flashes red and blue. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and select 'SKRB 32 A1' from the list. If prompted, enter PIN 0000.

What should I do if the headphones don't turn on?

Charge the headphones using the included Micro USB cable. If they still don't turn on, try a different cable or power source. If the issue persists, contact SilverCrest support.

How long does the battery last on a full charge?

The battery lasts up to 20 hours at moderate volume. Actual battery life may vary depending on volume level and usage conditions.

Can I use the headphones while charging?

Yes, you can use the headphones while they are charging via Micro USB. However, it is recommended to fully charge before first use.

The sound is distorted. What can I do?

Check that the headphones are paired correctly and the audio source is not too loud. Try lowering the volume on your device. Also, ensure the ear pads are clean and not damaged.

How do I clean the headphones?

Wipe the outer surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. For the ear pads, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid getting moisture into the drivers. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Are replacement ear pads available?

Yes, replacement ear pads can be ordered from the SilverCrest service center. Refer to the manual for the correct part number and contact information.

The headphones keep disconnecting. Why?

Ensure there are no obstructions between the headphones and your device. The Bluetooth range is up to 10 m. Also, check that the battery is not low. Re-pairing the devices may help.

Can I use the headphones with my TV?

If your TV has Bluetooth capability, you can pair the headphones directly. Alternatively, you can use a Bluetooth transmitter connected to the TV's audio output.

What safety precautions should I take?

Do not listen at high volumes for extended periods to protect your hearing. Keep the headphones away from water and extreme temperatures. Do not disassemble the product yourself; contact SilverCrest for repairs.

Safety instructions

To ensure safe operation of the product, follow the safety guidelines set out below:

■ Before use, check the headphones for visible external damage. Do not operate headphones that are damaged or have been dropped.

■ Protect the cable against damage, for example caused by sharp edges, hot areas, clamping or crushing.

If the cables or connections are damaged, have them replaced by an authorised specialist or the Customer Service department.

Children and persons incapable of operating the headphones safely due to their physical, intellectual or motor abilities must only use them under the supervision or direction of a responsible adult. Permit children to use the headphones only under supervision.

DANGER! Do not allow children to play with the packaging material! Keep all packaging materials away from children. Risk of suffocation!

■ Repairs to the headphones may only be carried out by authorised specialist personnel or by the Customer Service department. Improper repairs may put the user at risk. It will also invalidate any warranty claims.

■ Repairs to the headphones during the warranty period may only be carried out by a Customer Service department authorised by the manufacturer, otherwise no additional warranty claims can be considered for subsequent damages.

■ Defective components must always be replaced with original replacement parts. Compliance with the safety requirements can only be guaranteed by using these replacement parts.

- Do not carry out any unauthorised reconstruction or customisation to the headphones.

■ Protect the headphones from moisture and penetration by liquids.

Danger due to impaired perception!

Acoustic warning and indication signals and ambient noise can sound different when you are wearing these headphones. Make yourself aware of how these signals deviate in their sound so that you can recognise the signals in the appropriate situations.

▶ Do not use the headphones while driving a vehicle, riding a bicycle, operating machinery or in any other situation in which impaired perception of ambient noise could put you or other people in danger. Please also observe the statutory provisions and regulations of the country in which you are using the headphones.

Disposal of packaging materials

The packaging protects the headphones from transport damage.

Returning the packaging into the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste generated.

Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Operation

Connecting headphones

The headphones ① are equipped with a 3.5 mm jack. Many electronic entertainment devices have a corresponding headphone socket. If your audio device has been equipped with a different headphone connector, you may need to use a suitable adapter (not supplied). To connect the headphones to an airplane entertainment system use the supplied airplane adapter ②.

Put on the headphones

When putting on the headphones ①, pay attention to the side indicators „R“ (right) and „L“ (left) on the earpieces.

■ Position the neck band of the headphones so that the band runs around the back of your head (see fig. 1).

Storing the headphones

You headphones are supplied with a folding neck band to allow for space-saving storage.

■ First fold the earpieces backwards and then fold the neck band together (see figs. 2 + 3).

Cleaning

CAUTION

Do not allow any liquids to get into the headphones ①. This could cause irreparable damage to them.

■ Clean the headphones ① with a slightly damp cloth.

Storage when not in use

■ Store the headphones ① in a dry and dust-free location.

Troubleshooting

Fault causes and rectification

The following table will help you to identify and rectify minor malfunctions:

Faults Cause/remedy
No sound is coming from the headphones 1.	The playback device is not switched on or play-back has not started. Switch on the connected playback appliance and/or start playback.
	The volume control of the playback device is set to the minimum volume. Increase the playback volume.
	The 3.5 mm jack is not fully inserted into the play-back device's headphone socket. Push the 3.5 mm jack all the way into the socket.
Sound is coming only from one side of the headphones 1.	The 3.5 mm jack is not fully inserted into the play-back device's headphone socket. Push the 3.5 mm jack all the way into the socket.
	The stereo balance control on the playback device is incorrectly adjusted. Adjust it to the setting you desire.

NOTE

If the malfunction cannot be remedied with the described solution proposals or if other types of malfunctions occur please contact our service department (see section Service).

Disposal

The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin means that this appliance is subject to Directive 2012/19/EU. This directive states that this appliance may not be disposed of in the normal household waste at the end of its useful life, but must be handed over to specially set-up collection locations, recycling depots or disposal companies.

This disposal is free of charge for the user. Protect the environment and dispose of this appliance properly.

This appliance is provided with a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously prior to delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please contact your Customer Service unit by telephone. This is the only way to guarantee free return of your goods.

NOTE

The warranty only covers claims for material and manufacturing defects, not for damage sustained during carriage, components subject to wear and tear or damage to fragile components such as switches and batteries.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force and modifications/repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres. Your statutory rights are not restricted by this warranty.

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, but no later than two days after the date of purchase.

Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to charge.
