EN • The coding in this manual is generic and applies to all code variants of the appliance.

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the product. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

• Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cord. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow it to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the surface.
• Inspect the power cord regularly for visible damage, especially the cord, plug, and power-adapter casing. Should the cord be damaged or the product not work properly, it must be repaired by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec to avoid any type of danger.
• Place the device on a flat, stable surface. Do not place it on carpets or surfaces it could fall from.
• Keep the device away from direct sunshine, heat sources, air conditioners, or fans.
• The mist concentration may be affected by the type of water, humidity, temperature, and wind direction.
• Clean the tank every 3 days.

- Micro-organisms may be present in the water or in the environment where the appliance is used or stored. These micro-organisms can cause serious health problems if the water inside is not renewed and the water tank is not cleaned every 3 days.

- Empty the tank and refill it every 3 days. Before refilling it, clean the tank with clear water. Remove any limescale incrustations, deposits, or layers or dirt that has formed on the sides or surfaces inside the tank. Dry all surfaces after cleaning.

- The product can only be used with 100% natural essential oil.

Do not use oils containing chemicals, spices, or impurities, as these could cause product damage.

• Use tap or bottled water only.
• Do not move or cover the product while it is operating.
• Keep the product away from electrical and electronic appliances such as TVs or music equipment.

- Do not operate the product if it emits unusual smells or sounds.

- Do not allow steam to come into direct contact with furniture, clothing, walls, or other obstacles.

- Do not try to disassemble or repair the product by yourself. Contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

- Supervise children to make sure they do not play with the product. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is being used by or near children.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or not in good condition, immediately contact the Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
• Do not remove the serial number from the product, in order to maintain correct traceability of your equipment in case you request assistance.

3. OPERATION

1. Place the product on a flat surface and remove the upper lid. Fig. 2.
2. Connect the adapter to the product's socket. Fig .3
3. Use a measuring cup to pour water inside the water tank. Then, add 2-3 drops of essential oil per each 100 ml . Fig .4
4. Use the upper cover to close the product again. Fig .5
5. Connect the power adapter to a power supply.

Light button

1. Press the button once to turn on the light. The colour will change from one to another automatically.
2. Press again to set the current colour.
3. Hold down the button to turn the light off. Fig .6

On/Off/Timer button

1. Press the button to activate the mist. The yellow light will turn on.
2. Press the button again to select the timer:
3. For Pure Aroma 150 Yin/Yang models: 1 h, 3 h, off.
4. For Pure Aroma 300 Yin/Yang models: 1 h, 3 h, 6 h, off.
5. Hold down the button to turn the device off. Fig. 7

If the product is knocked or tipped over, follow these indications:

1. Unplug the cord from the power supply.
2. Remove the upper lid and pour out the remaining water from inside.
3. Gently shake the unit and allow it to dry naturally for, at least, 24 hours. Fig .8

Warning

If the device runs out or there is not enough water, the diffuser and its light indicators will automatically turn off.

Warnings

• Do not add water while the product is operating.
• Do not use water over 40 °C.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Make sure the appliance is unplugged from the mains when cleaning or filling up the tank.
• After each 5-6 uses or 3 days, follow the steps below to clean it:
• Unplug the product from the power supply and remove the upper cover.
• Pour out any remaining water through the emptying nozzle.
• Use a soft, damp cloth with some cleaning agent to clean the diffuser's exterior.
• If the inside part is dirty, remove the inner cover to clean it.
• Do not use alcohol or abrasive detergents to clean the product, as these could damage the surface.
• If the product is not going to be used for a long period of time, pour out the remaining water and store it in a safe place.

ENGLISH

Warning

Do not pour the remaining water through the air inlet or any other part. Water can only be poured through the water outlet to avoid product damage.

If limescale builds up due to hard water:

1. Use distilled water.
2. Change the water in the tank more frequently to prevent build-up and limescale deposits.
3. Be sure to empty the water tank and clean it whenever you stop using the appliance.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Cause Solution
The device does not switch on or off.	There is not enough water in the tank.	Add water to tank.
	The power cord is not properly plugged.	Disconnect the power cord, check the cord condition and connect it again.
The product does not emit mist or emits unusual mist.	There is not enough water in the tank or there is too much.	Add the correct amount of water (do not exceed the max. mark).
	The water tank is dirty.	Follow the ‘Cleaning and Maintenance’ steps.
	The air inlet or the product base is dirty.	Clear the air inlet and the product base to remove any possible block.
Water leaks. The upper cover and the water tank are not fixed properly.		Remove the upper cover and the water tank so mist can be released and install the parts again in its correct position.
		Temperature is too low or there is too much humidity and mist condenses, forming water droplets.
