A free USB2.0/3.x interface is required to operate this device.
Your PC's hardware configuration and the operating system you are using may affect the availability, compatibility, and transmission speed of this device.

Connecting the device
To connect the device to your computer, please only use the Y-cable USB Micro B to USB-A/USB-C included in the scope of delivery.
Connect the USB Micro B plug to this device and the USB-A/USB-C plug to your computer.
A manual driver installation is not required; this is automatically installed by the computer's operating system when the device is connected. Wait until the driver installation is complete. You will then have access to an additional drive.
The LED will flash while data is being read or played back, or a burning process is running. If the drive is on standby, the LED will be off.
Disconnecting the device
Before disconnecting the device from your computer, please ensure that the drive is no longer in use. Once the Status LED has stopped emitting light, you can disconnect the USB cable from your computer. Please remove any data carriers beforehand if you do not intend to use the device for an extended period.
Using the product
Check that the device is not damaged and then connect it to your computer. Only operate the device in a horizontal position.
Inserting a data carrier:
Press the eject button on the drive or use the relevant function on the operating system to eject the tray. Where necessary, carefully pull this further out by hand until it is fully extended.
Now place an optical storage medium in the tray's recess. Make sure that the data carrier is neither dirty nor damaged before inserting it with its labelled side facing up. Carefully press it down in the centre until you hear or feel it click into place on the round catch. Avoid touching the underside of the data carrier when doing this. Dirt on the data carrier may result in reading and writing errors.
Now carefully push the tray back into the drive until you feel it click into place.
Next, launch the software you have selected (file explorer, burning software, media player, etc.) that you need for your project.
Removing a data carrier:
Before removing the data carrier, please ensure that the drive is no longer in use.
Press the eject button on the drive or use the relevant function on the operating system to eject the tray. Where necessary, carefully pull this further out by hand until it is fully extended.
Carefully take hold of the data carrier by its edges and lift it slightly until it releases from the recess in the centre.
As soon as you have removed the data carrier, carefully push the tray back into the drive until you feel it click into place. This prevents dust and other foreign objects from getting trapped in the drive.
Manually removing a data carrier (emergency removal):
If the drive fails to respond to inputs (e.g. in the case of a power outage or system error), the data carrier can be removed manually.
Start by disconnecting your computer. Now, take a thin, stable object, and carefully insert it into the opening for the manual ejection until you feel some resistance. The tray can now be unlocked manually by applying light pressure, allowing it to slide a little out of the drive. Carefully pull this out and remove the data carrier as usual. Finish by closing the drive again
